Would LA Lakers be the Western Conference champion again?
Nov 22, 2008 | 2:52AM | report this

Have you heard the news?  Extra! Extra! Read All About It!

First : the New York Knicks moves two fine players to   created salary space for a premier free agent and playing time for Stephon Marbury!!!!!!!

Before the game, coach Mike D'Antoni has said, "We’re Excited! We’re Energized!  We've accomplished a lot of things and again, I don't think we've compromised this season, which was important to me and to Donnie and the fans and everybody else,"  "We didn't compromise it. We will be fighting for the playoffs, which we were doing before. And we cleared cap to be a player as we go forward with our plan."

Did the Knicks really end their Marbury controversy?

Second: Would LA Lakers be the Western Conference champion again?

 denlal608.jpg

Friday night, the Los Angeles Lakers Kobe Bryant scored 11 of his 29 points in the third quarter and sit out the fourth, Andrew Bynum has double double, and beat the Denver Nuggets 104-90.

The  Western Conference champion Lakers (10-1) are off to their best start through 11 games since the 2001-02 championship season, when they won 16 of their first 17. All of their victories have been decided by seven or more points - which were their winning margin against four teams.

Nene led the way for Denver with 18 points. Chauncey Billups made his first three shots, but was 3-for-9 the rest of the way and finished with 15 points and nine assists before going to the bench with 10:39 remaining.

Happy Thanksgiving Day to Every one!!!
Nov 18, 2008 | 9:34PM | report this

As Thanksgiving Day approaches,
our blessings we recall;
the things we are most thankful for,
we recollect them all. You are really special,
in all you say and do.
You’ve made a difference in our lives;
we’re thankful now for you.

Why do we celebrate Thanksgiving Day?
What’s its significance, all of us say.
We all find importance for which we are thankful,
and what we spend on this holiday is surely a bank full.
First the purchase of food for parties galore,
then the fuel and decorating costs come to the fore.
We eat so much food that many get ill,
and drug makers get richer with each little pill.
It all becomes clear, if we closely examine
that we’re not giving thanks for avoiding a famine;
we’re creating the wealth and the plenty we see,
including the sports ads we watch on TV.

 One two three,
A turkey in a tree;
Four five six,
That turkey’s in a fix;
Seven eight nine,
It always tastes so fine;
When we get to ten
It's Thanksgiving once again.

To All our friends in fox sports!!!!
Thank You For Your Thoughtfulness!!!

Happy Thanksgiving Day!!!!

Love,
Underage

To: kboe Bryant and to all of our favorites!!!!!!
Shaq, Melo, steve, dirk, LeBron,Jason,T-Mac,Kevin, wade, fish,Tim,& paul. Happy thanks Giving!!!!!!!

Tribute for our troopd “The Sack of Lunches”
Nov 16, 2008 | 11:43PM | report this

I would like to share a story that we just heard from a family member. We will give a title of “The Sack of Lunches” The man was going home from a visit to a family that he hasn’t seen since he was 11 year-olds. Continuing to my story:

The man boards the plane.  The man put his carry-on in the luggage compartment and sat down in his assigned seat. He give a sigh,  “It is going to be a long flight. 'I'm glad I have a good book to read.  Perhaps I will get a short nap,” the man said.

Just before the plane's take-off, a line of soldiers came down the aisle and filled all the vacant seats, totally surrounding him. The man started a conversation.  "Where are you headed?" He asked the soldier seated nearest to him. One of the soldier answer, “Chicago,  - to Great Lakes Base.  We'll be there for two weeks
for special training, and then we're being deployed to Iraq”.

After flying for about an hour, an announcement was made that sack lunches were available for five dollars.  It would be several hours before they reached Chicago, and the man quickly decided a lunch would help pass the time. As the man reached for his wallet, he overheard one of the soldier ask his buddy if he planned to buy lunch.  His buddy said, “No, that seems like a lot of money for just a sack of lunch. Probably wouldn't be worth five bucks.  I'll wait till we get to Chicago”. And the other soldier agreed.

The man looked around at the other soldiers.  None of them were buying lunch. The man then walked to the back of the plane and handed the flight attendant a fifty-dollar bill and said, “Please take a lunch to all those soldiers”.  The flight attendant grabbed the man’s arms and squeezed tightly.  Her eyes wet with tears, she thanked him and said, “my son was a soldier in Iraq; it's almost like you are doing it for him.”

Picking up ten sacks, the flight attendant headed up the aisle to where the soldiers were seated.  She stopped at the man’s seat and asked, "Which do you like best – beef or chicken?". "Chicken" the man replied, wondering why the flight attendant asked.  The flight attendant turned and went to the front of the plane, returning a minute later with a dinner plate from first class.  "This is yours, thanks."

After they all finished eating, the man went again to the back of the plane, heading for the rest room.  A passenger stopped him and said, “I saw what you did.  I want to be part of it. Here, take this."  He handed the man twenty-five dollars.

Soon after the man returned to his seat, he saw the Flight Captain coming down the aisle, looking at the aisle numbers as the Flight Captain walked, the man hoped the Flight Captain was not looking for him, but noticed the Flight Captain was looking at the numbers only on his side of the plane. When the Flight Captain got to his row the Flight Captain stopped, smiled, held out his hand, and said, “I want to shake your hand” Quickly unfastening the man seatbelt he stood and took the Captain's hand.  With a booming voice the Flight Captain said, “I was a soldier and I was a military pilot.  Once, someone bought me a lunch.  It was an act of kindness I will never forgot”.  The man was embarrassed when applause was heard from all of the passengers.

Later, the man walked to the front of the plane so he could stretch his legs.  Another man who was seated about six rows in front of him reached out his hand, wanting to shake his hands and left another twenty-five dollars in his palm.

When the plane landed in Chicago, the man gathered his belongings and started to depart the plane.
Waiting just inside the airplane door was another man who stopped him, put something in his shirt pocket, turned, and walked away without saying a word.  Another twenty-five dollars!?

Upon entering the terminal, the man saw the soldiers gathering for their trip to the base.  The man walked over to them and handed them seventy-five dollars and said, “It will take you some time to reach the base, and it will be about time for a sandwich.  Thank you & God Bless You ".

Ten young men left that flight feeling the love and respect of their fellow travelers.  As the man walked briskly to his car, he whispered a prayer for their safe return.  These soldiers were giving their all for our country.  All I c
ould give them is a couple of meals. It seemed so little...

Letter for Kobe Bryant
Nov 15, 2008 | 8:31AM | report this

To: Kobe Bryant and team mates,

Please keep your heart, mind, intellect, and your soul even to your smallest acts into game you going play.

Kobe your Excellence is not an acts but it is your habits. The things you do the most are the things you will always do the best.

What I’ve seen last night, Kobe (Team mates too) was so busy knocking himself out trying to do everything he think he should do, he never get around to do what he wants to do.

Kobe Bryant and Rasheed Wallace battle for position under the basket. With a 106-95 victory, the Pistons ended the Lakers' win streak at seven games. Andrew D. Bernstein/NBAE/Getty Images

We do not weep; nor wax indignant.

We always understand.......

In our group, one of us just kept on doing what one starts out doing.

The real question is: why did other Fans stop being real fans?

Yes, one might des-agree and corrects it.

The LAKERS loss to Pistons ........106 /95 that give them 7/1  So what?  first loss,  they will come back.

Win or Loss, We are a LAKERS faithful!!!!

Are you?

The LAKERS!!!!.... Plus the Rockets Mess!!!
Nov 12, 2008 | 7:46PM | report this

We were excited to see that the whole team are having a lot of fun, enjoying thier play, and at the same time, they're focused and alert on every game.

Lakers 93

hornets 86

Number 7!!!!!!!

The LAKERS does a good job of focusing on THIER GAMES!!!!!

Kobe Bryant and Derek Fisher each scored 20 points, and the Los Angeles Lakers improved to 7-0 with a 93-86 victory over the New Orleans Hornets .

I am very proud of Kobe for  draining a clutch 3-pointer while tightly guarded by James Posey with 1:08 left to make it 86-80, and the Team held on from there.

Kobe shooting his lights out again? I hope Not!!!!

Yes.....The Lakers were Western Conference champions and were in control of the games virtually from the start, but their opponents always  briefly made it interesting .

Game 1:

96-76 win Trail Blazers

Kobe Bryant had 23 points,

Game 3:

104-97 win over the Denver Nuggets

Kobe Bryant scored 33 points

I love Kobe very much, but does he has to shoot his lights out again made  all that points just to get the team a "W"?

Help!!!!!!

For the rest of the Team mates must need to simply find ways to be productive on the floor!!!!!!

Kobe Bryant MVP wallpaper.jpg

Remember how the way Kobe led his team mates the past two years?

Do you think Andrew appreciated that with out a doubts that Kobe can do it again? MEDIA DAY

What does Andrew meant when he said, “ I'm trying to work hard again this summer and come back with a couple of surprises for everyone."?

What do you think when Andrew said, “I feel comfortable and feeling unstoppable, it automatically propels my game to the next level just because I have that confidence”?.

We think because of Kobe’s willingness to defer to his teammates, but selfish when has to be" clutch player in basketball.

Who are this three professional basketball players that has this motto (not exactly the same words)?

"You can practice shooting eight hours a day, but if your technique is wrong, then all you become is very good at shooting the wrong way. Get the fundamentals down and the level of everything you do will rise to greater heights”?

TO my LAKERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"Play on! Rough-shod if need be, Kobe please...smooth-shod if that you have do, but play on! Play on over all obstacles, and win the race!"

Wow..... Lamar Odom drove the lane, glanced to his right and whipped a perfect pass to Sasha Vujacic in the corner. Only Vujacic was in his warmup jacket beyond the sideline and had stood up from the bench to watch Odom go to the hoop. Vujacic caught the ball and smiled, and Odom could only grin sheepishly.

Well Lamar, What is important is to keep learning, to enjoy challenge, and to tolerate ambiguity. In the end there are no certain answers, but a perfect gameright?

Ware tied the mark set by Denver's Simon Fletcher from Nov. 15, 1992 to Sept. 20, 1993.
Oct 19, 2008 | 12:18PM | report this

With The St. Louis Rams quarterback scrambling after fumbling a snap from shotgun formation and then getting the ball back,    Ware gets his10th sacks in 10th straight game, which tied  the mark set by Denver's Simon Fletcher from Nov. 15, 1992 to Sept. 20, 1993.

Though he shares the NFL record, Ware remains one game shy of the franchise record. The Cowboys recognize Harvey Martin's 11-game streak from 1976-77, a run that ended five years before the sack became an official statistic, as their number to beat.

Does our Rams has a chance to win this game?

We hope so.

Our take. Whats yours?
Oct 12, 2008 | 12:47PM | report this

The Team gives  focus on the task at hand and approaches work one game @ a time.

The Panthers, alone atop of the NFC South, are 4-1 entering a crucial division game next week at Tampa Bay (3-2)

According to AP, The NBA has formed a joint venture with Anschutz Entertainment Group to design and develop about 12 multipurpose arenas in major Chinese cities.

The project was announced Sunday at the O2 Arena in London, where the New Jersey Nets and Miami Heat played a preseason game. AEG runs the O2, and the venture will be equally owned by the two parties.

NBA commissioner David Stern did not say when the plan would be starting, or where the buildings would be located.

As for my LAKERS, Phil Jackson didn’t seem worried in the least that the team hasn’t looked great , thus far Jackson had this to say: "Lamar Odom needs to simply find a way to be productive on the floor".
