At that time Kobe was a ballhog to all Fans, I looked up the Franchise History and that ain't so at all. I found what award they got, Minutes Played, Field Goals, Field Goal Attempts, Hall of Fame Probability, and more, clink on their stats to see it for your self. I stop looking after LBJ because when click on wade It doesn't show his field attempts.
Year team win / loss w/l% playoff points rebounds assists coaches
It seems to me that you are trying to show a comparison of Kobe's stats to Shaq's in the championship years to show Kobe to not have been a ballhog.
I hate to point this out, but the stats appear to support the opposite point of view. Two out of three seasons, Kobe shot more attempts with a lower fg percentage than Shaq.
Regarding your statement:
"I never get it, why people think he is a ballhog."
If you really want to understand why people say this about Kobe, I'll try to explain it.
In the post-Shaq era, Kobe got in the habit of trying to carry the team and doing too much one-on-five offense, resulting in non-team oriented play, also known as ballhog play, detracting from the overall level of the team.
This year, he has made great strides in changing that behavior, but in several tough games he has gone back to his "ballhog" habits. Please look at a recording of the home losses to the Celtics and Cavaliers as examples of this, it is easy to see for yourself what people are talking about...
I both disagree and agree with NBA worst. It is true that at times Kobe has tried to do too much but that in my view is a by product of caring too much and playing with players other than Shaq who were wildly inconsisent game to game.
A player who carries his team often is on the court, he knowas when other players couldn't hit th ocean with a baseball from the beach and Shaq cold not be counted on in the fourth because of his free throw shooting.
Also Shaq was never in shape much and would tire in the fourth often and no center gets every single shot no matter his shooting % because they changed the rules so much after Wilt that if you only let Shaq shoot back then then they would just pack five around him.
Kobe was never anymore of a ball hog than Lebron is right now. If Kobe was a ball hog back then so is Lebron not.
I agree that a lot of Kobe's doing to much in the past few years came from having Smush and Kwame etc. being poor performers.
That being said, it can come down to how successful that strategy is as to how a player is perceived. Kobe's "ballhog" tendencies resulted in two 1st-round playoff losses, and a loss of team unity which has only this season been corrected. The Celtics and Cavs losses have been characterized as evidence of (bad) Kobe reverting to his previous ballhog style of play, while his similar but successful taking over the game in wins over the Mavs and Kings are evidence of (great) Kobe showing why he is the League MVP.
I think that's part of the reason LeBron has not had to face the ballhog critisicm as much as Kobe. He has had more success with this strategy than Kobe, so it's harder to criticize. The other reason is since the Cavs haven't ever won a championship, there is nothing great in their past to compare against.
So I'm not trying to say that I think he's a ballhog, but rather explain why there is that perception.
Lakers whip the Kings again today!

nba is the worst thanks for your visits and you explaining this to me. I kind of bupled in so many bloggers saying about kobe. when I looked in their championships years, Kobe had more assist than Shaq, less minutes, and less points.
In kobe's first two years, he was lucky to get 15 minutes a game compared to others like LBJ, WADE, MELO,OR BYNUM.
Do you think that explained why if he is playing, he tend to put up points for the team?
thank you for your visit OutlawsInc .
why the Fans call this a ballhog when the guy carries his team often to his back so that the team win the game?
I know It take five player, but what he can do if those 4 other cannot catch the ball and shoot?
nba, I don't think Kobe's "ballhog" tendencies as you say, resulted in two 1st-round playoff losses.
I believed because the team mates just didn't played their best and expected Kobe to keep on shooting the ball. The coach stop him from shooting the ball too much, when he did, what the fans said about that?
He quit on his team mates. I am right or wrong?
Since Kobe is a guard you would expect him to have more assists than Shaq. Notice the trend, by the third year Kobe had more minutes and points than Shaq. Doesn't make him a "ballhog". People use that term when a player dominates the offense and it results in the team becoming worse, since the rest of the team doesn't feel involved enough.
What I was trying to say was two things.
1) Since the Lakers have done so well in the past, there is a very high standard of performance expected. Since Kobe being the focus of the offense resulted in a first round loss 2 years straight, you had the criticism which took many forms including "ballhog" and even "quit on his teammates". What is unfair about this is how bad they would have been without Kobe.
2) Since there isn't that level of expectation in Cleveland LeBron isn't criticized for dominating the offense on his team, and since he succeeded in taking them to the finals he is fully supported. If Kobe had taken the Lakers farther there would have been less criticism of him.
Kobe will continue to be criticized because of the problems he has had in he past. The better the Lakers do, the less we will hear about the past.
