He can get in his own shot when ever he wants …
one of the best defensive player in the NBA….
one of the best perimeter defender in the NBA….
one of the best on-the-ball defender in the NBA….
one of the best defender with the passing lanes in the NBA…..
and most of all…one of the best finisher and tougher in whole the NBA.
All of the NBA General Managers:
I will never understand them, these guys call all the shots that transpires in NBA every seasons, they never once picked Kobe Bryant for MVP why?
maybe because he is that good of what he does and I believed actions speak for itself by opposing his coach to make the team adjustments.
I put him in category of Chamberlain, Jordan, and all the greats that made the NBA history.
QUESTION THAT bother me WHY KOBE BRYANT NEVER GET:
Most Valuable Player
NBA Most Improved Player Award
National Basketball Association Finals Most Valuable Player Award (three final...being a ballhog he should gotten even one)
Rookie of the Year Award
Defensive Player of the Year Award
NBA Sixth Man of the Year Award
J. Walter Kennedy Citizenship Award (maybe he is not old enough)
Every one say, He is "arrogance" and get "special treatment" from the referees.
I don’t think so..... How many times he gotten himself suspended last year?
He works hard for every awards he gotten so far and he will contenues on working harder for championship......
and one more thing the next person that say, Kobe is not special or not one of the legendary great players...Saying that player always find a way to win,
well….my friend, why do you think he asked to be traded? so, that the coach and managements will get him team mates that drives for winning chanpionship as he does, not team mates that just in for $$$$.
Bottom line is: Despite not having the best three seasons with the team, Kobe Bryant wants to be a LAKERS for life.
Not trying to poke fun at you or embarass you but this is very hard to read because there are a lot of sentence structure problems. I assume you were in a hurry, but you might want to edit it and take a close look at some of the grammar. Good topic. Kobe is a controversial player. You either love him or hate him. I would have to put Wilt Chamberlain in this category also though. Wilt was always viewed as selfish and a loser because the Celtics were so dominant. Take solace in the fact that if you aren't talked about it is because you aren't worth it. "People love to hate goliath"...Wilt Chamberlain. I have found that if people are critical of sports teams and players it is due to envy,jealousy,insecurity. Why do you think the Lakers,Yankees,Cowboys are all hated or loved? Because they are SOOOO SUCCESSFUL!!!! same goes for players. Kobe,A-Rod,Tom Brady...people love them or can't stand them....but you can't deny they are special in there sport. Thanks for bloggin'
and threw the years in sports you will find many kobe bryants, baseball, and football tennis etc etc etc... john macenroe in tennis always getting on refs throwing tanttrums!!! and to these!! i say this when they just play the game and keep the mouth shut!!! great players!!!!!! and if kobe ,when his playing days end doesnt get in to the hall of fame ill be shocked!!!!!

regardless of your grammar keep blogging and working hard on your education. You are doing just fine. As for Kobe I am a huge fan also but slshusker makes a very good point about Kobe. If he just relegated himself to playing basketball and quit giving the media sound bites to run with, he just may get more respect from other fans and the NBA as a whole.

I agree that the Colorado thing was his own fault. HOWEVER, I think he had a right to voice his opinion on how his team was going nowhere and to critize the coaches and gm on how they weren't doing anything about it. If he had not of said those things I don't believe he would have gotten the personel he need on the Lakers. Basically speaking, closed mouths don't get fed.

Since when did the General Managers pick the MVP? I was under the impression that the sportswriters did that.
Kobe asked to be traded for the same reason any player does. He didn't think he could win a title where he was. If that resulted getting better players, that was fine Apparently being traded to a contender was OK with him too.
I just have to wonder about all the Kobe fans, (not talking Laker fans here, just Kobe fans) if he had been traded, would you become fans of the new team or remain Laker fans? Just curious.
