I am sure I am way late with this but I just started posting here and want your feedback. I am Texan to the bone and have been fasinated by the history of Nascar. I believe in the origin and all that it has brought to the sport during the growth of the fastest growing sport there is. I am not sure though that I believe in the multi-million dollar commercialized circus that it has become. Please don't get me wrong I LOVE NASCAR and I am very glad to see the sport getting the recognition it finally deserves, people are finally figuring out it is not just "#### going in a circle". I though am proud of my #### roots and proud of the sport that was not ashamed to show its true rebel colors. It seems now though, it is politically or whatever kind of incorrect for the sport to be proud of its origin. It seems like there are only a few old school drivers left who care to keep real roots of the sport. Nascar has become huge and I am very glad but there is no room for forgetting where it all started ,and in my opinion no room for TOYOTA!!! love to hear your thoughts! twolf
Hope everyone is having a great week. The race at New Hampshire was very critical for all the chasers, because as far as I am concerned Kyle Busch is out of it . Jimmy Johnson is a long shot and my man Jr. is just lucky those two had a bad run. The bad run for Busch by the way makes my day. Then you have the rumor that the RCR cars were using rims that were bleeding air pressure automatically, also report of a performance enhancing device on Harvicks car which noone could make stick. The RCR cars passed post race inspection. Why does all the irrelevant controversy cover up the true story topics like Denny Hamlin. This guy is the first rookie in the chase, I've talked to people all season right up to the chase that dismisses his whole rookie season as a fluke. He is silently letting all the chaos go on around him while he stays right where he needs to be and thats driving the #11 to smart solid finishes consistently. I'm very convinced that this kid is no fluke, he is a smart and composed driver. He showed that after Harvick decided to act like an #### Sunday. May not win the chase but I think he finishes fifth or better! What do you think? GO JR GO
I am about as big a nascar fan as you will find, been watching since I was a kid when you might see a race on wide world of sports once a month. I was a fan of the late great Intimidator and watched him lose his life doing what he loved. I then took up with little E, I have been a fan for a long time so I didn't just jump the Earnhardt band wagon like alot of people did. I have seen the sport change into a commercialize d need for a piece of the pie. I am 36 yrs old probably young to say I am old school , but hell boys lets remember stock car racin'
