I watched the Kentucky Derby and the Preakness in my living room on the flat screen. Big Brown was the most dominant horse I have arguably ever seen in the first two stages leading to the Belmont Stakes besides 2004's winner Smarty Jones. Last year, Street Sense was impressive, but I knew he didn't have what it takes to win. His first two wins were good, but not as impressive as Big Brown's. So, the question becomes is Big Brown the best horse we have EVER seen? If he wins the Belmont by 4+ lengths, than I say yes. So, if he dominates the field, I think he would be the best horse that has competed. But right now, he is no better than Smarty Jones because Smarty dominated the first two races, winning the Preakness by one dozen lengths. I don't know about anyone else, but I will be praying that Big Brown wins the Triple Crown this Saturday at 5 ET on NBC. I hope you watch him attempt to succeed and hopefully he will.
