Tim McCarver and Joe Buck have to be two of the worst sports announcers that still cover games! Everytime I watch an event with them covering, I turn off the volume or find the game on the radio. They remind me of most of the sports writers in new england who think and act like they are somebody important. They both are bandwagon fans of whichever team seems to be winning! I am not the only person that feels this way.
McCarver should have never began a career in braodcasting, he has never been good at it and has been getting worse over the years.
Buck does have a voice for radio, however, he should not comment on anything but the facts of the game.
If Fox ever wants to stand out in the baseball playoff game they cover, Fox should get the broadcasting team that really knows the teams playing. Take one person that covers each team palying which has covered that team all year - that way you have one person that really knows each team and be viewed by the audience as very intelligent about the teams playing. It really is a no brainer!
ps - this is not related to the above matter but is also annoying as a spectator - when showing the mph, fox momentarily hides the count (balls/strikes), there must be somewhere else that mph can be shown
