Why Boston Fans should not celebrate so fast?!?!
Jun 13, 2008 | 11:39AM | report this

Thousands of fans were left lifeless as the Lakers went down 3-1 to the Celtics. Whats worse was the fact that they blew a 24 point lead.  Lamar Odom looked lifeless.  Gasol was almost camtose, Sasha Vujacic was enraged.  Derek Fisher looked more like a fish in a water, belly up i may add.  And a Manic Kobe and Phil Jackson looked on helplessly as the Lakers lost a golden opportunity.  What could have been  a 2-2 series is now a 3-1 stranglehold on the NBA Finals.  But as we all know its never over.  Boston fans shouldn't look any further than last season's NFL SuperBowl.  It all seemed but won, when the perfect New England Patriots took the lead over the slumping New York Giants.  The Stadium and Pats' fans errupted when Rany Moss caught a go ahead touchdown from Tom Brady.  with a little under a 2 minutes left.  Thats when the amazing happened.  Eli Manning not only evaded and should have been sack, but more likely he had the last laugh when he took the air out of a veteran team stockpiled with talent.  With that being said,  we all expect the Celtics to be holding the trophy up soon.  But not so fast Boston nation.  You of all people know about early celebrations.  So until we see a 4-1 defeat, lets hold the champaigne, stop the parades, and play some basketball.  The Lakers still have another game in Los Angeles, and all is needed to steal a game in Boston.  At this point in time, thats wishful thinking.  Before we all crown the Celts as champions before game 5, Unlike the Titans of the motion picture, we all need to remember the Patriots.

Save the smiles for now....You still have business to take care of.

Even Tom Brady had to figure out the hard way.

Position by Position Ratings: Who's the best going into 2008...
Jun 13, 2008 | 10:55AM | report this

Welcome to the NFL. Sure, we all can debate who's the best in the NFL, but i have decided to dig a bit deeper to see who's the best at his position soley based on potential of the 2008 season. (my top 5)

1.Tom Brady: Love him.  Hate him.  When it comes down to clutch performances and getting the job done, this is my feild general in every situation.  With the re-signing of Randy Moss, that keeps the Patriots the most potent offense.  New England however did lose to free agency Donte Stallworth.  With that being said, Stallworth wasn't a regular weapon on this team's offense. so expect this Patriots team to go undefeated.  Remember where you heard it first.

1.Petyon Manning : I never liked to use the term 1 and 2 with these top QB's. But since 1A isn't a number, sorry Mr. Manning, you'll have to accept number 2.  Not as clutch as Tom Brady nor does he proves to be calm is the harshest situations, Manning is Mr. Consistency, when I think of a "prototypical" quaterback, my answer is always this man.  With a SuperBowl under his belt, this guy can easily surpass Brady with solid play.  But due to Marvin Harrison's injury and no true backup, this is the only thing that hurts Manning.  Reggie Wayne is always a go to guy, so thats always a security blanket.  (Sorry younger brother, it takes more than an escaped sack under two minutes to play and ultimately win the superbowl to get on this list)

3.Tony Romo  : This Celeb/Quaterback is without doubt the best QB in the NFC.  As far as being number this season, he must be ready to put up Brady like numbers, Manning or Brady like Playoff wins, and Terry Glenn must return to top form.  With T.O. ,Crayton, Witten, and the recomittment of stockpiling a formidable running trio in Barber, Choice, And Jones, Chances are that Romo may lose passing reps.  The Cowboys last season put too much pressure on Romo and Co. without having a run game to rely on.  Just because he's number 3 on my list doesn't mean he can't become number when it all matters. (just ask Eli Manning) With all the glamour and glitz this Dallas team possess, i'm not so sure if Romo is 1 on a team with celeb-like players such as Terrell Owens, Pacman Jones, Jessica Simpson( sorry but i couldn't resist) and even the owner himself Jerry Jones.

4. Ben Roethlisberger: I know, I know, I know.  Big Ben has had an up and down career, which makes me beleive that he's straddled the fence.  When he's good, he's great. But when he's bad, he's terrible.  With immediate draft studs such as Limas Sweed who can make the whole team forget about Plaxico Burress, and Rashard Mendenhall giving them a running attack that will resemble the old Bettis/Parker duo.  Look for Big Ben to put up great numbers in this upcomign 2008 season.

5. Donovan McNabb/Jake Delhomme:  I know 5A isn't a number but since this is my list i can manipulate my owns sytem.  I don't believe in Kevin Curtis, nor do i beleive in Reggie Brown.  But i do beleive in a Better Defense and the addition of Lorenzo Booker who in my mind is a poor man's Brian Westbrook.  There's no dropoff when either is on the feild therefore keeps both guys fresh. Sure Plenty of you would say why not Carson Palmer? Why not Drew Brees? i don't see any improvement in either team that'll make these guys better.  However in Jake Delhomme, I see Steve Smith.  I see Mushin Muhammad. I also See Dwayne Jarrett.  Above all, I see Jonathan Stewart, Jeff Otah and an average of a 330 pound offensive line capable of running and play action that'll make Delhomme that much better.

Never Doubt that a picture isn't worth a thousand words

Is Marion Barber Trying To Stiff Arm the Cowboys?
Apr 17, 2008 | 10:14AM | report this

After making his first NFL Pro Bowl, Marion Barber is now seeking an elite contract. The Dallas Cowboys have held preliminary talks with Barber’s agent, Drew Rosenhaus, and are offering a financial package in the $30 million range, according to a report in Thursday’s Dallas Morning News. Barber, however, is reportedly seeking a package between $40 million and $60 million, more in line with contracts signed by the Kansas City ChiefsLarry Johnson and LaDainian Tomlinson of the San Diego Chargers, who received $43.2 million and $60 million respectively.  With that being stated.  Facts are Facts. Barber was only the backup last season.  Barber didn't even get a 1,000 yards even getting the most caries.  Yes his bruising style and rushing touchdown totals are impressive.  If I'm the Cowboys,  i want Marion in the backfeild and he's the guy i want there for years to come.  However, asking for LT money, without giving me LT production, is asking for too much.  Texas fans rejoice.  I am not the Dallas Cowboys.    I have been for the team making Barber the starter, and also have lobbied for him to become the future fulltiem starter, but  his numbers are a bit to pricey for me.  The guy in 0-1 as starter.  Thats not convincing.  He lacks NFL speed.  Thats not convincing.  so the price needs to go down.  Period.Rosenhaus and the Cowboys have a good working relationship and it is likely the two sides will reach an agreement Barber, a restricted free agent who scored 12 total touchdowns and rushed for a career-high 975 yards - despite not starting a single game during the 2007 regular season - was tendered a $2.5 million contract by the Cowboys in February.

I would have never thought that Barber would be delivering one of these to Jerry Jones or the entire Cowboys organization.

But when you are represented by this guy.  Anything is Possible.

"So what will it be Marion? 50 million??? 60 million??".......(both)

As long as he can deliver some of these.  Cowboys fans worldwide will be happy or....

he will be receiving treatmeant like this guy.......

this guy..........

and this guy.......

No added pressure Marion.  Continue to do this......

to become something like................well...................this guy......

The New England Patriots Latest Scandal: Its Not Spygate
Apr 17, 2008 | 9:09AM | report this

No Terrell Owens, you have that all wrong.  Imagine if Terrell Owens had a Schedule in his hand instead of a ball???  Thats more like it.  The 2008 NFL schedule was realeased yesterday and its odd how a 16-0 team gets the easisest schedule in the league.  The Steelers, Cowboys, Dolphins, and others have a schedule thats pretty difficult.  With that being said.  How is it that the Dolphins , a 1-15 team gets a tougher schedule than the Pats.  I had no idea that the more games you win, the less competitive schedule you earn.  Its seems very obvious that this is the fact these days.  I think this path to perfection has got everyone a little crazy.  Is the NFL bias when it comes to the Patriots?  Whats fact:  the Patriots will go 16-0 (pending that the beat the colts).  With a schedule like this one, the worst case scenario is that they will be 15-1.  The Dallas Cowboys are America's Team.  The Patriots are now:  The NFL's Team.  And when your the NFL's Team.  Thats all that matters. Doesn't it???

The Broken Record That is the Baltimore Ravens: What Lies Ahead???
Apr 17, 2008 | 8:33AM | report this

Ever saw this before?!?! Sure you have.  Although at First Glance, most may not know who's these guys are.  For those who can't recognize these guys, those, my friends are the Baltimore Ravens.  Year after year, this team Defense and Special Teams are always the key that hold the organization together.  On the offensive side of the ball, we its always the same problem;  no quaterback.  Lets see we had Trent Dilfer, who  actually won the superbowl. (released)  Elvis Grbac who was dicey. (waived)  Anthony Wright he developed a rapport  Todd Heap. (traded) Kyle "I should have been a bowler" Boller, (credited by Skip Bayless).  (demoted).  And now we have Steve McNair, the playoff proven quaterback.  (retired)  As the draft near, the Raven will be looking for a QB.  No doubt.  But lets look at other situations for this team.

Regardless of what injury concern this guy has.  When protected and on his game,he is one of the most effecient passers in the game.  Yes, miami has right with him, but at this stage of his career, the Ravens can easy make a move to get him.

While he's no Tom Brady or Peyton Manning,(who is) but 2 years removed from the knee injury.  Culpepper is still mobile.  posseses a big arm and has one of the best and accurate deepball in the game.  Although he doesn't have the credentials of a McNair.  At times, he can be McNair-esque.

With the Ravens Offense, no one has to be Joe Montana, all a Qb needs to be is Trent Dilfer, so to speak.  so Quinn gray coud be a pretty good option.

They have an unhappy Jeff Garcia, who wants morre money.   Bruce Gradkowski.  Chris Simms, a semi-retired"i don't know if i wanna play for the Bucs" Jake Plummer.  All these options are great for the Ravens.  They can make serious moves with this team.

Also in the same boat are the Falcon. They are targeting Matt Ryan, if thats to be true come draft day.  Then the Ravens have a bunch of other QB's to chose from such as Byron Leftwich.  Note: For the right price, they can buy the rights to Michael Vick.  Pull a "Dallas Cowboys" and try to deal for a guy that you aren't sure to be reinstated.

So not all is lost in Ravens Land.  Sniff. Sniff.  I smell a Kyle Boller.......

What Made Em' Good Won't Make Em' Great...Why the Packers will find success after Favre.
Mar 31, 2008 | 8:05AM | report this

Brett Favre is a man's man.  He is football to its purest form.  If you thrived off victorious comebacks, dramatic finishes, heartbreaking losses, and couragous performances, then Brett Favre was that guy.  If you lived for moment when a team back is against the wall without any hope, and yet one person spark the prevailing moment, look no futher than number 4 himself.  Also, if good ole'  bad weather games,  adversity to the highest point, the underdog that everyone loved to root for and personified the " not even my advisaries hated me" type of mentality a guy possessed, Brett Favre was your man.  We have seen it all from a guy i have coined, "The Adversarial Loved One", which gave meaning that if a person didn't like the Packers, they couldn't hate Brett Favre.  Now that the Favre era has ended, no need to look down Packer fans.  The future is bright for you guys.  Last season, we all saw something that has never happened.  Brett Favre needed the Greenbay Packers.  Yes, i said it.  For the first time, as much as I hate to say it, the Greenbay Packers carried Favre.  Year after year, no matter what system  was implimented, Favre and his "gunslinging" play carried the Packers even when the system wasn't verry well designed.  But last season, when Favre was basically on his last leg, had nothing to play for, and actually played within the system.  The wide receivers carried him.  Sure we all still saw Brett Favre.  But less is better.  And that's exactly what happened.  When Favre decided to be himself.  The early interceptions in Dallas was a notification and the interception that caused the team their season also was the notitfication of what Brett Favre needed and didn't need to do.  Guys such as Donald Driver, James Jones, Greg Jennings, Ruvell Martin and others carried Brett Favre.  Yes i do grant that Brett Favre was able to be the good ole' gunslinger that we were accustomed to seeing, not as often as we are use to seeing.  Last season was an indicator that  showed how talented the Greenbay Packers are.  All sides of the ball was great.  Come 2008, the Packers are still the favorite to win their division.  They are good offensively, defensively, and on are pretty good on special teams.  For every CheeseHead fan out there that worried about Aaron Rogers, well, don't.  If Rogers play within the system and don't try to be Favre-ish, the Packers will in my book be as good or better off.  No, this is not a persecution of Brett Favre's , this is a revelation to the Packers team as far as talent and continuity.

Yes, plays like this always kept the packers in games. and often saved them. Even left us wondering the possibilities of his greatness.

But Plays like this seldomly left us scratching our heads and hurt.

No Pressure young Aaron Rogers......

All you have to do is win one of these.....

3 of these.....

Maybe a little bit of this............

Pull off a couple of these.......

Acheive a little bit of that.....

Overcome a little adversity, become state legend, maybe face of the franchise......

Oh yeah i forgot, have your name cemented at this place, and you'll be ok....like i said no pressure, well, nevermind.

Arron Rogers your are now on the clock................

Rooger Goodell is the Key; But Jerry Jones is the Reason.....the cowboys offseason soap opera
Mar 28, 2008 | 8:33AM | report this

The Dallas Cowboys organization and fans have been on a rollercoaster of an offseason.  Take it from me, I should know.  It all started in the Divisional round of the playoffs with a loss to the would be SuperBowl Champion, the New York Giants.  That was a loss that rivals one of the 1994 loss to the 49ers.  Bitter and deflated were the coaches, players, fans (my God, the fans), and even the owner.  With that being the surface scratcher, the Cowboys suffered maybe the worst depletion of coaches since in the Jerry Jones era.  Beloved coaches were dropping like flies.  On top of it all, rumors were swirling about Offensive Coordinator, Jason Garrett leaving.  Oh, I could hear all the rumors like they were yesterday, kind of like a bad dream.  "Jason Garrett is going to Miami." "Offensive Coordinator Garrett is about to be the next head coach of the Falcons."  Some sources went to the extremes by referring to Garrett as the "former" O.C.  Then in comes the goat in all of this.  Jerry Jones.  You know the guy who fired Jimmy Johnson, the guy who got rid of Tom Landry,  The Guy who had the Cowboys in cap hell.  Yeah that guy. He snagged Garrett Up Making him the Highest paid O.C. in the game.  Problem solved.  Not likely.  Coaches left.  Players left.  No big Free Agent Signings.  Jerry Jones had really become the goat.  Fans were showing all the displeasment.  Randy Moss went back to the Pats.  Javon Walker Went to Oakland.  Guy after guy landed in other teams hands. Yet, the Dallas' only signing was so-called the" old and past him prime" Zach Thomas.  Fans not knowing if he'd really recovered.  No one gave Jerry Jones and credit.  Once known as the guy who signed T.O. Anthony Henry, and other big names, had once transcended back to the old J.J., from the fans point of view.  But help was on the way.  Darren McFadden, the most coveted running back in this upcoming draft was notioned to be an imminent Dallas Cowboy.  But good ole Jerry shoots that down.  So, the Cowboys fans are even more angry.  Some went as far as for calling him to step down.  Wow.  At last the Last, the last batch of quality free agent go to there respective ball clubs. Still, the Cowboys remained without any.  Now the fustration with the fans had reached a boiling point.  So high, as to a few had completely left the team fanbase.  Eat your heart out ABC Daytime.  Now this is drama.  As days passes, The NFL Draft comes closer.....and closer......and closer.  Still no signs of the Cowboys organization signing anyone.  Both the fans and staff puzzled on who exactly should be chosen in this upcoming annual player's selection.  Even the media was with a question mark.  The Cowboys are with 2 first round picks, and no one to draft.  In the fans eye, it was Mcfadden or no one.  Yes, I think I can still hear it now.  "We need a Corner."  "c'mon Jerry trade up for Mcfaden".  "Lets Get a Wideout."  "Barber needs help."  This is my favorite. "  All we need is a DB in the draft, trade Roy Willaims for Chad Johnson, and get Mcfadden."  I am glad none of us are the GM.  Then comes the new headlines.  Chad Johson wants to be traded:  He will go to Dallas .   So as time passes, the trade doesn't happen.  Tension with Jerry Jones and the Dallas fans are at an all-time high.  Yes, more tension that a Hulk Hogan and Andre the Giant bout.  All of a sudden, new wave of headlines start to rumble.  Suspended Cornerback Wants to be a Cowboy:  PacMan to Dallas  .  It was nothing more than a rumor, and with all the possible "could have hads" and "we might sign" guys around.  Even the fanation of Texas shot it down.  Thats when the plot got thicker.  The organization had an in house discussion.  Once it leaked to the media, there was pandemonium everwhere.  50 percent of the fans didn't want it to happen.  The other 50 percent did.  As the story of PacMan grew, so did the chances of  the organization getting that coveted corner to match with the likes of Terrence Newman and Anthony Henry.  With a hope of suspension being lifted,  a imminent signing of a shutdown corner with return skills.  The Dallas Cowboys organization have exactly what they want.  Even though, the fans aren't all sold on the idea.  Its just like Mama always said.  "Be Careful for what u wish for, cuz u just might get it".  Well how you like that?  PacMan, if reinstated will help the Cowboys have one of the best, if not the best, Corner trio.  Fans pouted and moaned about it all season.  I was one i must say.  Now the team have three solid corners, that returner they've always wanted.  And with how much money spent?  My point exactly.  In a perfect world, the Cowboys have a H.O.F. Linebacker in Zach  Thomas, a defense that has just gotten better in the secondary.  An even better coaching staff.  A wide open scoring machine offense.  Marion Barber is the starter.  Kept the innovative O.C. and the draft hasn't even happened yet.  Imagine what could happen to an already 13-3 division champion?  Scary.  Say the Cowboys  grab that coveted running back who's name isn't McFadden.  By looking at all the NFL coverage, the Draft is loaded with talent at the running back position.  and with the 28th overall say we go  wide receiver.  Say they pick a Limas Sweed or any one else who's serviceable to us.  And remember, Terry Glenn just "may", i repeat just may be healthy enough for the long haul.  And that my friends is only the first round.  Who knows what gems lie ahead?   No, no, no.  Don't thank me.  Thank the goat, the culprit, the guy who promised the big splash.  Thank Mr. Jerry Jones.  And if all goes well, you may even want to thank Commissioner Goodell also.

If there's an ultimate goat/culprit to the Cowboys season.  Look no futher than this man.

Yeah i know, he isn't out of the water yet.  But if this Dallas team wins it all, apologies should be ringing toward this guy's way for a lifetime.

PacMan,T.O., and Tank. Oh My!!!

A New "Hair" Brain Scheme of the NFL......
Mar 27, 2008 | 8:04AM | report this

Recently, NFL owners have proposed a rule to keep the lengthy hair from being exposed under the helmet.  The rule banning long hair on the field was proposed by Kansas City. It does not require players to get haircuts, but does “require them to tuck it up inside their helmets,” said Atlanta president Rich McKay, chairman of the league’s competition committee.  Names that comes to mind are players such as  Troy Polamalu, Al Harris, Marion Barber, and T.J. Houshmandzadeh.  Wether or not this rule, will come into effect.  This would bring up a interesting idea.  Since the NFL owners, has proposed this rule, its only fair to put them under the microscope.

*note: if u have any photo editor, you are more than welcome to post these ideas on here.

1. Jerry Jones/w Marion Barber's Hair:  Imagine good ole Jerry sitting in the Draft rooms with  dreads.  That would be a sight to see.

2.Daniel Snyder/w Clinton Portis's alter ego "dollah bill" hair:  He would probably look like President Bush dressed as George Clinton.  but the outcome would be word a thousand laughs.

3. Dan Rooney/ w Troy Polamalu's hair:  Priceless....

4. Robert Kraft/ w Laurence Moroney's hair:  I can see it now.  About 17 micro-spy cameras hidden inside of  those dreads.  By doing so he can see and hear plays being called all the way accross from the opposing teams press box.  And the Pats just may win another superbowl.

I'm sure there's more endless possibilites, so if u have any ideas. Post them along with a picture and lets see who's the most creative.

AAALLL DAY!!!......Why Adrian Peterson will not hit a sophmore slump
Mar 27, 2008 | 6:34AM | report this
This just in.  Adrian Peterson is an okay player. Well.......okay he's a great player.  I can make this assessment because not only is Adrian Peterson a great athlete, but he has everything that an every down back needs to be successful in this league.

1. Toughness: The guy may look sleek and slender. But this kid, is tough.  The biggest knock going into his rookie season was the fact he wasn't durable, nor a pile mover.  Why you may not see Jamaal Lewis, you will see tough runs and plenty of broken tackles.  Face it, this kid has heart.

Go Ahead.  Leg tackle him and see how he escapes with ease.

2. Vision: In case you didn't see this run, when it happened.  I'll give the details.  There were at least 4 defenders in front of him before he made his cut.  And like a couple of runs in the pro bowl ,those yards after aren't suppose to happen with a normal running back.

If I get in front of the defense, there's no walking me down.

3. Speed:  If Peterson ever gets a step a defensive player,  stop praying.  He will not be caught from behind.  Peterson's speed is a underrated quality about him.  Once that second gear is kicked in.  Just put 6 points on the board.

Do you see the closest defender? My point exactly.

4. ElusiveNess:  As great of qualities that this back may possess i think his elusiveness is the most jaw dropping one.  He makes cuts that the other back wouldn't make.  If it looks like Peterson is only going to get a 2 or 3 yard gain.  His quickness kicks in.  He makes the most talented defenders look stupid.  I personally think, his elusiveness rivals that of the great Barry Sanders

That my friend are pro-bowlers.  The guy in the blue is "ALL DAY".

See the familiarities?

4. Durability: Although it was only his rookie season.  He did  average 5.6 yards a carry. And yes he did get injured.  But he came back and still was able to do what he did before the injury.  Aslo the Pro Bowl was a good indication that he still has all the moves, the cuts, and vision.  Are you kidding me? Those are All-Pro's he made look stupid.

5.  The "IT" Factor:  Ok. None of us knows what this means but all the great ones seems to possess it.  Look at Randy Moss.  He has speed, hands, agility, leaping, and height.  Thats the normal great receiver. But the "IT" factor makes Moss the most Dangerous Deep Threat.  Take a Look at Peyton Manning.  Big Arm, Poise, Durable, Pocket Presence,  Extremely Accurate.  The "IT" Factor Makes him the guy that he is.  Based on my knowlegde of the running back position, Peterson has the "IT" factor.  That can and will continue to make him special.

Look no further than this.  This is only a screen pass.  Peterson bobbles, cradles it and with a few but uncanny cuts.  He's off to the races. Again, its only a screen pass.....

The Dynasty Isn't Over.............Yet (why the Patriots are still the team to beat)
Mar 21, 2008 | 9:37PM | report this

Go ahead. Laugh. The New England Patriots were the first undefeated team since the 72' Dolphins. They also were the first undefeated team to lose the Superbowl. 21-17. All over the local papers, even worldwide. As the saying goes,
He who laughs last, laughs the loudest. The New York Giants rave and rant about being world champs. I hope they have a short memory. Sure, New England lost Asante Samuel, Roosevelt Colvin, Donte StallWorth, Eugene Wilson, and others. The main focus isn't about who've they lost. Its all about who they have and what they kept. They have Tom Brady. They have Wes Welker. They Have Bill Belichick. Amongst others, they kept Randy Moss. The scary thing about this team isn't the fact that they lost defensive players, its the fact that they kept in tact the most explosive offense in NFL history. What's even scarier, they have changed the way teams play defense forcing them to draft more quality corners. The Patriots are mad, more focused, and still poised to win the title. So if any team has a sigh of relief. Think again. The Dynasty has just begun.

Cheer up Champ. The Dynasty isn't over.

Better Times Awaits........

Moss is Back..................

The Master is still in the Hood.....so to speak.

Come 2008. You are still the team to beat. Plain and Simple.....

PacMan Jones: The Modern Day "Deion Sanders"
Mar 21, 2008 | 1:43PM | report this

Pictures are worth a thousand words.

He's brass; cocky; the media hates him; fans dislike him;  Jerry Jones loves him;  According the the Dallas Morning News , the Dallas CowBoys have reached out to suspended Titans cornerback Adam "PacMan" Jones.  The CowBoys have contacted the Tennessee Titans, with aspirations of dealing the troubled DB and return man.  According to closer sources, Dallas has offered  the Titans a 6th round pick in return for Jones.  If this holds to be true, is it possible that owner Jerry Jones is up to his old ways of building his team with the likes of Terrell Owens and Tank Johnson?  Guys who's past has often been stumbling blocks to their perception of the careers.  Some has went so far to say Jones may be the "Modern Day Deion Sanders".  Although Sanders career is one worthy of a Hall Of Fame, his antics and troublesome attitude towards the fans and players once made him the most unliked guy in the NFL.  With Pacman aboard "America's Team", he could surpass the hatred that has haunted him already.  Wether or not the Cowboys are able to work this deal out, the main focus would be gettin Jones on the feild.  Commissioner Roger Goodell has said that he intends to look at Jones' reinstatement case near the start of training camp.  Just how hated is PacMan Jones?  Is this young, troublesome but talented corner the next version of Deion Sanders perecption wise?  as for production, well thats to be determined.................

See the resemblance

Can PacMan Jones be pointing in the same direction .....................

or will it all end in a bust..................no pun intended.

The Seahawks or Shaun Alexander: Which Bird Do u Suspect to be Flying South?
Mar 20, 2008 | 8:53AM | report this

So the Seattle Seahawks sign for Dallas Cowboys running back Julius Jones and also signs recently resleased tailback T.J. Duckett.  It seems very obvious that the Seahawks organization is either going to trade or release veteran Shaun Alexander.  Pending that they do, Seattle will be in more turmoil than Alexander.  Although the oft-injured running back has been less productive his last few seasons.  He can always find work with a team in need of a veteran rusher, or perhaps a starter.  However, the Seahawks are left with the likes of Julius Jones, and T.J. Ducketts.  Both are guys who are yet to prove that they are capable of being more than serviceable.  Jones, recently shared time with now starting Dallas Cowboy's rusher Marion Barber.  The team had ultimately lost faith in Jones, and the Dallas fans also were very critical.  Well as for Duckett, he was spliting time with former fellow runningmate Kevin Jones.  With that being noted,  which party will get the better end of this seemlingly imminent divorce?

Will The Ocho Cinco Show End up in Dallas??? find out...
Mar 20, 2008 | 7:30AM | report this

"If I end up in Dallas, I would just look at which finger I'm gonna put it on." "That's it. Ain't no ifs, ands or buts about it."  Those were the word of the always outspoken Chad Johnson when asked on the Best Damn Sports Show Period  Wednesday.  As for whenasked about the possibility of playing along side Dallas Cowboys controversial wide receiver  Terrell Owens, Johnson stated "It's gonna work," Johnson said. "T.J. (Houshmandzadeh) and Chad Johnson are no different than '81' and '85' because T.J. is a No. 1 receiver. We just happen to be two No. 1 receivers on the same team at the same time. It's no different."

Could Ocho Cinco be takin his Hall of Fame Status to Dallas?

AlongSide this Man?

Recently, Johnson has been displeased the Bengals organization. The veteran receiver aslo stated that he was betrayed in ways and that the only way to solve matters between both parties was that the team let him go or trade him with hopes of a new start.  According to the Dallas Morning News , the star wideout wouldn't mind playing for its hometown team, the Dallas Cowboys.  If brought together, both have proven numerous times that he can be more than a capable target, perhaps to QB Tony Romo.  Can Chad and T.O. leave the competition at their feet.....

Can these two brass wideouts leave the competition at their feet?

Or will it all end in a sad Ending?

Chad Johnsonon Wants out of Cincy....He Also Has a Green Thumb
Mar 19, 2008 | 8:13AM | report this

"People say the grass aint greener on the other side.  I got my waterhose. I got my seeds; I'm gon' make it green".  Those were the words of the now Cincinatti Bengals Chad Johnson. I like to stress the word "now" because Johnson also stated that a change of scenary is verry much needed and that no amount of money would make him play in Cincinati.  He also stated that if needed, he would sit out the entire 2008 football season, because he doesn't see himself in a Bengals uniform from here and prefered to not even speak of the Bengals by name.  Giving credit Johnson, he said that he loves his teammates to death, including the 8 guys on the pactice squad. Chad Johnson went on NFL Network Tuesday night and reiterated he wants a trade out of Cincinnati and said he wants a change of scenery, "like a breath of fresh air."   But the Mainstay of this topic that is the burning question. If Chad Johnson doesn't play for the Cincinatti Bengals then where exactly do he play? Philadelphia?  Dallas?  Baltimore?  SanFansisco?  Possibilities are endless.
