The Broken Record That is the Baltimore Ravens: What Lies Ahead???
Apr 17, 2008 | 8:33AM | report this

Ever saw this before?!?! Sure you have.  Although at First Glance, most may not know who's these guys are.  For those who can't recognize these guys, those, my friends are the Baltimore Ravens.  Year after year, this team Defense and Special Teams are always the key that hold the organization together.  On the offensive side of the ball, we its always the same problem;  no quaterback.  Lets see we had Trent Dilfer, who  actually won the superbowl. (released)  Elvis Grbac who was dicey. (waived)  Anthony Wright he developed a rapport  Todd Heap. (traded) Kyle "I should have been a bowler" Boller, (credited by Skip Bayless).  (demoted).  And now we have Steve McNair, the playoff proven quaterback.  (retired)  As the draft near, the Raven will be looking for a QB.  No doubt.  But lets look at other situations for this team.

Regardless of what injury concern this guy has.  When protected and on his game,he is one of the most effecient passers in the game.  Yes, miami has right with him, but at this stage of his career, the Ravens can easy make a move to get him.

While he's no Tom Brady or Peyton Manning,(who is) but 2 years removed from the knee injury.  Culpepper is still mobile.  posseses a big arm and has one of the best and accurate deepball in the game.  Although he doesn't have the credentials of a McNair.  At times, he can be McNair-esque.

With the Ravens Offense, no one has to be Joe Montana, all a Qb needs to be is Trent Dilfer, so to speak.  so Quinn gray coud be a pretty good option.

They have an unhappy Jeff Garcia, who wants morre money.   Bruce Gradkowski.  Chris Simms, a semi-retired"i don't know if i wanna play for the Bucs" Jake Plummer.  All these options are great for the Ravens.  They can make serious moves with this team.

Also in the same boat are the Falcon. They are targeting Matt Ryan, if thats to be true come draft day.  Then the Ravens have a bunch of other QB's to chose from such as Byron Leftwich.  Note: For the right price, they can buy the rights to Michael Vick.  Pull a "Dallas Cowboys" and try to deal for a guy that you aren't sure to be reinstated.

So not all is lost in Ravens Land.  Sniff. Sniff.  I smell a Kyle Boller.......
