No Terrell Owens, you have that all wrong. Imagine if Terrell Owens had a Schedule in his hand instead of a ball??? Thats more like it. The 2008 NFL schedule was realeased yesterday and its odd how a 16-0 team gets the easisest schedule in the league. The Steelers, Cowboys, Dolphins, and others have a schedule thats pretty difficult. With that being said. How is it that the Dolphins , a 1-15 team gets a tougher schedule than the Pats. I had no idea that the more games you win, the less competitive schedule you earn. Its seems very obvious that this is the fact these days. I think this path to perfection has got everyone a little crazy. Is the NFL bias when it comes to the Patriots? Whats fact: the Patriots will go 16-0 (pending that the beat the colts). With a schedule like this one, the worst case scenario is that they will be 15-1. The Dallas Cowboys are America's Team. The Patriots are now: The NFL's Team. And when your the NFL's Team. Thats all that matters. Doesn't it???
They wont go 16-0. Their defense took a hit or two. Still it is crazy to get the easiest schedule when they were arguably the best last season. But this might play against them---I had rather be a battle tested 11-5 in the playoffs than 14-2 with only a couple of competitive teams that I beat.
They won't be nearly as good as they were last year D-ends will work harder to take a good hit at brady then it's all over for him, he will fold like a cheap hooker and thats a fact.
COWBOYS4EVER! ANY TEAM WITH A SCHEDULE LIKE THE PATS THIS SEASON CAN GO 16-0. THE ONLY TEAM THAT MIGHT BEAT THEM IS THE COLTS. A HIGHSCHOOL OR COLEGE TEAM WOULD GO UNDEFEATED WITH THAT SCHEDULE.
They have a schedule that you can only dream of no matter which team you got. I think the Colts will take them and they might get easy with the schedule and blow one or two due to lack of an opponent to keep them sharp...But what do I know? I think Jessica is good for my boy! I know she would be good for me!!!!
Now, God knows I hate to agree with Patriots fans, but that schedule is the luck of the draw. This year every team in the AFC East play every team in the NFC West and the AFC West. That's just how it works. They play last year's winners of the AFC North and South as well, hence the Colts and Steelers. The only reason Miami's schedule ranks tougher than New England's is that the Dolphins play the Patriots twice.
HOW DOES IT FEEL TO BACK A TEAM THAT HAS DESTROYED THE INTEGRITY OF THE GAME? ARE YOU THAT IGNORANT?IS THIS WHAT YOU TEACH YOUR KIDS? IF YOU GET CAUGHT CHEATING JUST #### AND MOAN ABOUT IT UNTIL THEY LEAVE YOU ALONE? PEOPLE LIKE YOU SHOULD STOP WATCHING FOOTBALL FOR THE GOOD OF THE GAME.
I think you all need to quit belly aching, and let the games be played. Yeah The Pats were 16- 0 in the regular season, who cares they didn't win the S.B. and that is what counts. Let the game be played, and it will all take care of itself.
When you play the Dolphins and the Jets twice, your strength of schedule is low. Also, each division plays two other predetermined divisions (AFC and NFC) there are only 2 games that the NFL can set up to establish some parity. I'm a Dolphins fan, and it makes sense to me why we have a tougher schedule than the Pats.
Back when there were 3 divisions per conference, teams would play 8 games in their division, and 4-5 against another opposite conf division. That left 3-4 games that the NFL could choose.
It doesn't matter who the Pats play because the people of Boston still suck, with their terrible accents and huge noses (which in this case, equals small pee pees).
You can tell by my avatar what Im about. I dont care whos playing if the football is good. I hope everyone goes 15-1 and the only loss is to my team. I hope the Pats run the board again. We dont play them. All I know is the withdrawal is severe and Im ready for some fu((kin football!!!
First, EVERYONE is going to show up to play against them. They have become the big bully with an even bigger target on their ####. Teams will play harder just to keep them from going undefeated.
Second, as someone pointed out, they play against the NFC West this year. While three of the teams in that division need some serious rebuilding, The Pats are playing the current reigning division champion Seahawks in Seattle. It has pretty much been established that Seahawks Stadium is the toughest place to be the Visitor in the NFL.
Not saying its right, but when the Steelers were breaking the law w/illegal steriod use and the Broncos and 49ners were cheating the salary cap and the Colts cheating w/Audio gate they never received the envy and hate that the Pats have received..... The reason is because America now likes to knock down people faster than they built them up.... sad....
