This is my first blog and i will start it off with talking about the New York Mets, if any mets fans or baseball fans in general just want to talk about the game just coment me. Soooo.. i was at the Mets game today in Phillidelphia and i have to say that the new stadium is great. There isnt one bad seat in the park and there it is just so much cleaner and there is more rooom then at Shea, the one thing about the mets i dont get is how come Willie always turns to Julio Franco when he needs a pinch hitter? The guy has done absolutly NOTHING since joining the mets last season.

At todays game it was the 9th inning and 2 outs and the tieing run at the plate, and who does Willie turn 2 for a pinch hit? Good Old Julio Franco. With the tying run at the plate Franco isnt going to hit a game tying home run! At least let someone swing the bat who can hit the ball out of the ball park. I would of liked to see Roman Castro in that situation instead of Franco. Castro has decent power and is able to hit a Homerun, im not saying that i expect anybody to hit a homerun 2 tie the game in the ninth but have someone batting in which that is a possiblity.
