Hey, sports fans ... we are officially into the the sweet sixteen series of the NCAA TOURNAMENT ...yes... the road to the final four and then the big game..it started with 64 teams and only 16 still competin, and UNLV continues to silence their critics.. the midwest regional is in st. louis, mo. and i'm headin on a jet plane to cover this amazing team . i feel UNLV will give OREGON a lot of trouble because they didn't buy into the NBA cheerleaders who use this great tournament to tout future pro's ...these same experts say UNLV is too slow, too small ,and not atheletic enough..well listen up ..They have heart and soul and team chemistry ...they play with an intensity that permeates the coaches style... .play hard ,smart , keep your cool and fire right down to the last second ...point guard and team captain Kevin Kruger probably won.t be drafted ,but in the last 9 games he has 61 assists vs.only 10 turnovers.. he is also a monster with 3's , and if he gets hot UNLV will beat the ducks as for his father coach Lon Kruger we fans from Las Vegas owe him a ton he took this program from the shithouse to the penthouse and regents and A. D .you better open up the BRINK'S truck and extend his contract , cause if you don't there will be a ton of bidders.. in fact my home boys in minnesota { mesabi iron range }are in need ....He would fit in well with Joel Maturi's Gophers or Kevin Mc Hales' Timberwolves..interesting enough when you watch this game pay particular attention to the features of Coach Kruger then his SON . it's amazing how being 40 years apart during the course of the game the coach at times will look like he's 21 then the son at times will be so intense he looks 61 .. then the metamorphosis strikes and i swear they are TWINS it's amazing but you can witness this yourself... this is a true team sucsess story , but also a love story between father and son that no inflated NBA contract could ever compare . fathers watch this game with your sons.. sons make up with your fathers... study the KRUGER faces ... thanks you guys win or lose for the memories of a season sprinkled with stardust.. YOUSE FOUND ME AT DITKA'S LAST WEEK I GUESS I LOOK LIKE I SOUND AND WRITE ...I WILL BE PAINTIN' THE TOWN AGAIN IN ST. Hey sports fans, i would like to recomend a movie for you and your family... yeh its a rocky flick... and if you are like me a baby boomer ...it's a must... the sly-ster done good .. ..if your a Y or X generation person take your dad or grand-dad... its about what we should be .. what we are.. who we are ...and how we are ...its about respect ...its about dreams about ups and downs ...its about love and family... about you ain't gotta get old cause it's just a number.... its corny but true and refreshing . the actual fight scene is academy award caliber... the critics will poke fun at the age issue and rocky vi label , but these people i will bet have no respect for their elders and have not competed in athletics or done any soldierin.. or don't have any sense of loss for a loved one , or never got up from the mat after bein ridiculed -then to do the impossible in sports or business.Sly you ain't met me yet ;but some of your friends and business people know me... your positive attitude will help millions of people to realize the aging procees is actually a gift from GOD. therefore we should respect our minds and bodies . as we age we must use our knowledge and experience for positive and beneficial deeds Sly i . hope to see ya around some time in the next 30 years .. thanks for da memories and special thanks for da future.. i am da big cat TIGER VIDMAR ....
