ANY WHO , the Tigers Johnny Cal is an underrated coach who has never been given his due by the conservative basketball world .... he is not an outcast but not an insider ....Memphis is by far the superior team in all categories ....they could actually beat many NBA squads

As for already crowning Memphis as champs....hmmmmmm........ The 4-headed monster in the post of Arthur, Jackson, Kaun, and Aldrich should prove to be very formidable task for the Tigers to deal with. Dorsey and Dozier only have 10 fouls. It could be a very significant problem for Memphis. Rose and CDR are incredible, but so are Chalmers, Rush, Robinson, and Collison on the perimeter for the Hawks. This is FAR from a mismatch. KU only has to limit 1 of 2 players to be effective. Memphis has 3 or 4 options from KU that can score 20 or more in a game to deal with.
I favor Memphis as well, but I definitely don't view it as a lock by any stretch of the imagination.
hey nostra, i respect your opinion , but i wager 365 days per year and it takes conviction and balls ... i may be wrong but i doubt it if you check my archives over the last three years i win 90 % of the time in big games .... just for fun follow johnny cal's players to the nba
as for derrick rose if he leaves he will be a lottery pick and nba star and starter
i can name 10 teams he could start for to include memphis, new york t-wolves etc.

Sorry Tiger. I didn't really mean to come off as harsh as you are thinking. You might want to check out my thoughts on my latest blog. Derrick Rose is a VERY special talent. No doubt about it. Likely a top 5, and maybe even 2nd pick in the upcoming NBA draft. Like you pointed out, I'll take Memphis as well, and yes I WILL be here if they don't win. I just think that Kansas has a much stronger chance of winning than you are giving them credit for. I used to gamble 365 days a year much like yourself. But have now limited myself to horse racing. In my humble opininion the true art of the gambling profession. I'll wager on the game, but I'm sure it will pale in comparison to the number of $'s you will throw at it. In all honesty, I hope you do well.
Personally, I loved seeing the overrated Tarheels/ACC go down after leaving their home state advantage. Memphis has to be favored, but if Kansas can get hot as they did early against NC, Memphis' free throw issue could return.

Tiger....glad I don't bet college b-ball. I had UCLA in finals.....Memphis is he real deal, but Kansas looks like a team under the radar...they may sneak another won. The only thing I am looking forward to is One Shining Moment....both of these teams do nothing for me...I really wanted to see UCLA-UNC. That would have been a great game.

tigervidmar Your boys went a hoopin' and a holllerin' and in the end had come home cryin' with their tails between their legs . More's the pity as they should've closed out the game when they had the chance to do so.
