Well raiders fans, your team has under perform once again this season. I think it would be wise if they turn the reins over to Russell. They are 2-6 right now, and the QB's they have (McNown/Culpepper) are not getting it done here. They are already a sorry team anyway so get ready for 2008 why don't yea! Where is Aaron brooks these days, or Walter, or that guy ya'll drafted in 2000. I forget his name! I will look it up later. Bottom line it is time to forget about 2007. It is not happening, and they need to start building for the future.
whats up with the o-line? a decent back, some 2nd and 5, play action and a D that is smart and aggressive would produce more close game changes for victory. If you cant run why put a young QB behind a line that wont block for their runners.
Fargas is running well keep up the pressure with the run game ,keep turnovers to na min. play damn good D. This league has a lot of parity, some teams are more mentally prepared and excell at the things that are fundamental.
I dont know why we dont put the biggest arm in the NFL in either. We aren't going anywhere this year abviously. Let Russell earn his respect through the NFL now instead of next year. How many #1-2-3 picks of the draft are complete busts? Paying the rookie millions to sit on the bench is what screws up the NFL pay scale. The vets should get paid, not some unproven rookie.

Are the Raiders afraid that if they play Russell that he may turn out to be another Joey Harrington? Look at what happen to him when he had no offensive line either with the Lions.
I believe if Lane starts Russ the entire team will be energized for the O-line will run and pass block with vigor and tenancity for they will believe they can win and play more aggressively to protect the franchise, the D will believe they have hope to score if they make a play as well as the special teams.
