Well Jets fans you finally got what you wanted, now it is time for Kellen Clemens to show what he got! The Jets were not playing well, and it showed. I am wondering why did it take so long for Eric Mangini to realized that? The Jets have not been the same since Curtis Martin retire. I find this amazing considering the Jets went to the playoffs last season. They are way behind in the standings of the AFC East. They are likely to get a high draft pick in the 2008 NFL Draft. Heck! maybe they should get the Patriots 2008 1st Round pick. No pun intended Jets fan, how bout them Giants 6-2 currently in the New York Bowl. Pennington is under contract for 4 more years, and I think the Jets should trade him in the offseason. I have a list of teams that can used his services.
Its always hard dropping your QB of the past years, when things arent going great. Its a known fact that QB's take most of the blame. But Mangini just tried keeping his faith in Pennington. As a jets fan I wanted Klemens in a while ago. But I also understand why he was kept in. I do agree with trading Pennington though. Pick a QB or free agency QB to replace him. As far as the teams that could use his services, Im thinking the only teams you mentioned would be the following:
Browns
Bears
Chiefs
