I'm tired of this $#!T! These guys need to be held accountable for their
actions. Some say that suspension is too much. Too
much??? Flip that!!! Ban Vick,
Portis, Tank Johnson, Pacman, Chris Henry and company for life.
There is too much #### in pro sports today and it's time to dump the
load.
What? Too extreme? How about this, offer the teams a guaranteed top 5 pick
or #1 pick (or equivalent ex. Chris Henry) to get rid of this waste.
I'm sure the Skins' would much rather have an Adrian Peterson for a Clinton
Portis. The Falcons would easily take the next Vince Young over the current
Vick.

It's time for us fans to say enough is enough. Is winning at all cost
the type of society that we have become? These are sports/ games so what if our
team doesn't win. Heck, unless you’re a Patriots or Colts fan they don't
win anyway.
Ahh, who am I kidding? We are a society of big talk and little action. We won’t even refrain from drafting Portis or
Vick in order to win our measly little fantasy league let alone call for real
action.
As for the feeble minded blow-hard who will inevitably play the “Get your
priorities straight card: there are soldiers dying, homeless, sick, hungry…” well,
dog fighting is a big deal! Animal cruelty is a big deal! Oh, and by the way I
understand there are issues of greater importance but… Where does it say that
we need to address these issues one at a
time? Ever heard of multi-tasking?
I’m offended by the ignorant forms of justification some of these sports
fanatic low-life bloggers come up with. I am offended and disappointed in
the lack of class, lack of intelligence, and lack of open-mindedness. You want truth? Here is truth! Face it!
you're a nut. You can't speak portis' name in the same sentence as Vick, Pacman, Johnson and Henry. He didn't do anything except speak. You can't cut somebody for being ignorant.
Brutal and heartless. I have two dogs that are white-shepherd/wolf. solid white and beautiful. Anyone caught doing that should be forced to go against a dog themselves if they're so bad. They could try mine on for size.
I am no dog lover, but i will admit dog fighting is cruel but so are many forms of entertainment. The problem is the bond people have with dogs. They name them, put them in funny hats and ####, take portraits of them and have funerals for them. While horses just go to the glue factory or are used to make up dog food. This is not about Vick or portis it is about all dog lovers and so on. Do you know how many dogs are euthanized daily? Just because an owner did not want them, or they were taken from some clown who had way too many animals? Do you feel as strongly about hunting for sport or is that more humane in your mind?
Portis is a knuckle head, you cant cut a guy for being stupid if he can play but you can sit him down and tell him that he needs to put his brain in gear before placing his mouth into drive. Yes, dogfighting is a rather violent crass sport, so is cockfighting, both have been around for a long long time and in most states currently illegal. So, if he comitted he should be punished appropriatly. However Vic being the cancer that he is I would tell him to pack his bags and try to find a new home, salary cap be dammed. The guys has not lived up the hype, and is a detremit to his team maybe someone can start a team of misfits. Vic, cullpepper, moss, the bengals, et. al. For myself until the NFL cleans itself up Im done with the game.

As a matter of fact I do feel as strongly about euthanasia and hunting. Especially the kind of hunting where you essentially build a giant cage, throw all the animals in there, put up feeder traps and just wait with your shotgun.
Please guys, don't compare that to having to hunt for a living. Don't compare that to human nature.
You know what the media should do... Keep sticking mics in front of these guys until they finally p!$$ us off enough to get them thrown out of the league.
We are starting to realize that the more we see of Vick the person the more we start to dislike him.
texas...i'm withya on this one, although I wouldn't ban Portis just for being an ####. He hadn't actually done anything wrong, other than run his mouth. I was watching SportCenter this morning, and they were talking with Vick as they were walking. Vick said that this stuff didn't matter, that he had enough supporters around to keep him going. When asked if he was going to be exonerated from the dog fighting stuff, he said "no comment". he's about as smart as that rock across the street. if it weren't for his athletic abilities, I honestly don't know what else he could do. I've heard he has real issues with play calls...and that he has a hard time remembering the system and plays for his offense. I don't think we're dealing with the brightest light in the room. And he's rich and spoiled to boot. Those combinations will usually lead to things like this. Just a thought.
Feed clinton and michael to the dogs......THEY ARE DONE.Ironically , this whole unspeakably vicious episode will do a lot to destroy all 3 of these disgusting news items....vick , portis , and dog fighting.....all 3 are soon to be historical footnotes of an interesting but disreputable nature...2 yr.s from now(maybe less) no one will CARE what these two dimwits have to say and dog fighting owners will be thanking and asking for another from the F.B.I.

Let's see I love athletic competition: seeing, doing and talking/blogg ing about it. I am not as serious about it as I used to be. I'm not going to be one of these cheese and whine bloggers who makes excuses after a tough loss and looses his/ her lid. I will admit, I find myself cheering against certain athletes/ sports figures just as much as I cheer for my favorite athletes. Maybe I will right a blog about later.
I try and stay away from political posts because they always end in a stale-mate. However, sometimes I do indulge in the occasional social political rant. Keep an open-mind we will get along just fine. Lastly Track and Field is my fav. sport, I also like WSM and MMA (except IFL that's a joke).
