I have to say this race coverage is terrible. I know there has to be commercials, but there is more today then racing. Keep missing cautions, then one comes out that we see and they go right to one. /don't even get to see if the pit or what not. I am so sick of ESPN and ABC can't wait til next year and the first races without them they suck. Then they run Monday night football commercials. I am not watching football. DUH. Frustrating the heck out of me. This should be a good race. They are ruining the whole darn thing
ESPN's coverage sucks royally. I'm looking forward to Fox's coverage next year. ESPN ruined a good race with all its commercials. And even their commercials SUCK!!!
The race coverage was just awful. Don't need all those commercials! And what happened to Jr at the end? All of a sudden after that last restart he dropped like a brick. Anyone have a thought?
Dale Jr.s engine was going away as usual. Something has to be behind that besides just bad luck.
The good news about ESPN is we will be through with them in just a few more races. The best news is Crusty Wallace goes away too.
Certainly hope NASCAR plans on another newwork next year for the last half of the races.
It is my firm belief for those that watch NASCAR on TV have felt it better not to watch ESPN coverage thus the lower TV ratings. Think NASCAR might pick up on that?? I doubt it.
There is always a better alternative. NASCAR Radio Newtwork does an excellent coverage of the race and you fell like you are at the track watching in person.
HEY YEAH I WAS WONDERING ABOUT JR THERE AT THE END TOO. NO ONE BOTHERED TO MENTION IT. ESPN DOES SUCK. DON'T THEY HAVE SOME KIND OF CONTRACT TO KEEP RUNNING THESE RACES? BY THE TIME THEYA RE DONE THERE WON'T BE ANY TV COVERAGE AFTER THEY TOTALLY SCREW IT UP. I KNEW JR.S MOTOR WAS TAKING A ####, BUT YOU WOULD THINK THEY MIGHT HAVE MENTIONED IT.

I know Just don't mention Gori**lla. It gets bleeped too. Soo you noticed that too about Jr. I got the news off the NASCAR radio. When watching ESPN, I feel like I am watching an amateur broadcasting crew from the announcers to the production staff. Certainly missed a lot of coverage.
I won't mention that word,LOL. It isn't just Jr. I mean shoot didn't here what happened to lots of drivers.
Did ya see Jr. on Windtunnel? forgive me if I.m wrong but I heard him say that he doesn't believe they are sabotaging his engines, but maybe they are trying R and D stuff out on his car.
Oh well, it is what it is, 4 more races then next year, it will get better.
Yep, the coverage sucked. Not enough interviews with other drivers after the race. Too many commercials and those annoying "updates" on other sports. If I wanted to watch those other sports I would have turned the channel and watched my 49ers get their butt kicked by the Giants. LOL
What is Nascar coming to these days? Can't we just watch a race?
I am a diehard Nascar fan and in case you can't tell a devoted Dale Jr. fan. Wherever he goes my husband and I will still be here. We live in a small town in Mi. Try each year to go to at least one race. Our fav is bristol. But this year we went to Martinsville and are going to MIS in August. I work a lot but make time for my Nascar. We watch anything Nascar on Speed. Do like the outdoors, and love summer. Really am not a winter kind of person. I know live in the wrong state for that.lol. Hope to remedy that someday. We live for our family too, they are tops.
