Just wanted to say hello to my friends out there. I haven't had much time at home lately so the computer thing kind of has been on hold.
Congrats to the Philadelphia Phillies, their fans, and their city. Good Luck to the Tampa Bay Rays next season. They did a great job this year but ran into a hot Phils club that was a little too much for them to handle.
At this moment my Patriots are still hanging in there. With Brady out and the other injuries they've had , what more could you ask for than being tied for first place. It doesn't get any easier from here on in though. Hopefully grinding out the rest of the year and making the playoffs will be a reality.
The surprising Bruins are actually putting the puck in the net this year and thgeir goaltending looks super strong, Tim Thomas coming off back to back 1-0 shutout wins has made some fantastic stops in net. Having Patrice Bergeron back this year adds a tremendous boost to the offense. The solid play of Savard, Chara, Ryder, and Phil Kessle have made the B's a formidible foe this year.
The defending NBA Champion Boston Celtics raised their 17th Championship Banner to the Garden rafters this week in an emotional pre game ceremony this week. The C's came back in the fourth quarter to beat Lebron James and the Cavs in the opener. They continued their great play by crushing the Chicago Bulls Friday night. The big three appear to have started right where they left off last year. With Rondo, T.Allen and House all pitching in , the C's hope to have a great year and plan on bringing home #18.
The overall picture here in Beantown is looking bright. GO Pat's, Celts and Bruins! Keep it smelling Rosey all the way through June!
I love almost all sports. Unless you hit the ball with your head. I never cared for people who swear much, but if you must, just don't use the Lord's name in vain.
The roads around my house are older than most cities in the USA. And the taxes are higher also.
I believe in loyalty. And love the sound of the last lap at the Daytona 500.
I think everyone should see this country before they go to some other and get beat up or worse for just being an American.
And root for whoever you like. But we're gonna win.
