Whats happened to our precious lake? Between the helicopter patrols, overly aggresive law enforcement officers and constant harrasment of the good citizens of Austin, I recomend we change the name from Lake Travis to Gustapo lake. The law enforcment people need to understand they are fooling no one with the so-called "safety inspections" how stupid do you think Austinites are? Maybe they should change there names from officers to revenue officers. If you need the money so bad, why dont you just raise taxes again, you seem to be darn good at that also. I really dont even like Mr. Benson and I am a die-hard longhorn fan. A black man on a high dollar boat must be a criminal, right? The aggresivness of the officers on the lake is pathetic, If there is anything good top come from this Cedric, maybe its opening the eyes of everyone that the new name for our lake is gustapo, which would be good so we all know what to expect.
One of Benson's passengers said that she had been boating with him six times this spring. Guess how many times they were stopped for a revenue inspection? Right, all six times.
