Bracket Busters???
Mar 20, 2008 | 10:28PM | report this

I know the first day is under way. Nothing really surprising happened. I have a perfect bracket so far. I wanted to let everyone know who would be the bracketbusters on the second day of the first round.

St. Joesph over OU- The Sooners arnt exactly booming this year, they have been up and down all year, spending all year basically on the bubble. St. Joesph has a great attacking defense and is very capable of controlling the boards.

Saint Marys Over Miami (fl)- Saint Marys has a few big wins under there belt. including against Maryland..Miamis conference foe. Saint Marys capable of going on big spirts and runs causing chaos for defenses. They also run the full court and half court press very well.

there are also a few lower seeds i feel could win tomorrow but really wouldnt be upsets, starting with 10 davidson over 7 gonzaga, 9 oregon over 8 mississippi st., and 12 WKU over 5 drake

Boston Redsox Refuse To Play????
Mar 20, 2008 | 10:11PM | report this

Hello Everyone, First off this is my second post, so please bear with me I promise they will be better.

I was watching ESPN before I went to work a few days ago, and It was showing a deley because the Red Sox were boycotting playng the game at hand and getting on a plane to go to the season opener in Japan and the Oakland A's were thinking about doing the same.

This was due to the 40,000 dollars that was promised by the league for the players and coachs going to Japan. Apparently the league decided to take away the 40,000 dollars for the coaches appearence.

The Players decided they would not play or get on the plane to go to Japan if the money wasnt givin to the coaches by taking a vote. honestly what is this 4th grade? Im not saying the coaches and players don't deserve the 40,000 dollars promised. But to threaten not to play a game or attend your season opener?

When you sit down and look at the amount of money and benefits these players and coaches get, honestly what is 40,000 dollars? Your getting paid hunderd thousand of dollars or more. and your complaining about not getting paid to go to JAPAN!

Honestly I would love to have an expense paid trip to Japan for me and my family to play "Americas Past Time" Seriously that shows whats more importent to them. I would rather have more money then to play the sport that I love.

Packers Playoff Bound??
Sep 12, 2007 | 6:12PM | report this
The first weekend of the nfl was nothing but outstanding. It was full of shockers, OT's, and close calls for some of the leagues more "dominating" teams. The biggest shocker for me was the Packers vs Eagles game. I know the Packers failed to score an offensive touchdown and only managed 46 yards on the ground, but Brett Favre did show spirts of the 90's, and When Jennings gets healthy that means some of the coverage will get taken off Donald Driver, but off of the offensive look of things. The Packers defense played almost flawless, The only touchdown they gave up was when Al Harris hurt his arm. Granted the packers dont have much depth on either side of the ball, I feel if they can stay healthy they can compete for the NFC North, or possibly the Wildcard.
