I am going to invest some of my hard earned dollars on some CFB this weekend. There are only a few games and I am going to parlay in sets of 3, with a few singles. I need some of your opinions so I can help solidify my picks.
Raiders +10.5 at Chargers - I'll call this a two touchdown game, but the Chargers coming off a lackluster performance and still a chance to make the playoffs I'll lay the points.
Buffalo +14.5 at Ball State - Ball State at home to secure a perfect record to go into the bowl and still a belief that they can get into a BCS game should provide them enough motivation to win by more than two touchdowns. I know Buffalo is improved but I'm sticking with the better team.
Boston College vs. Virginia Tech - I feel Virginia Tech can keep B.C. from scoring. I know Tech is motivated to get back to the Orange Bowl.
Florida -10 vs. Alabama - They set the spread to get the money on Bama. They keep talking about the Tides' defense but Tebow and the faster Gators on turf feels like a sure thing.
Missouri +17 vs. Oklahoma This game I am not sure about I could just take the under at 84 instead of trying to figure this one out. If Oklahoma is ban-ged up I'm not sure they can cover 17 so I guess I'll take the points and the under.
Parlay number 1 - Chargers, Ball State, VT
Parlay number 2 - Florida, Missouri plus the under
I don't normally parlay, or round robin teams as much as a straight bet; However, the picks that you have look soild. The Raiders are bipolar so who knows, Ball St. is solid and should cover although if Buffalo hadn't got beat by Kent St. last week when they were spotting 10 you might have had better value.
I like the Gator pick although some cappers are taking the points. My opinion is to lay the points as Florida should win going away. I like the total on the Mizzou game more than I like taking them and the points as the under has come in twice in the past three meetings between these two.
BC and Va Tech is a coin flip to me but these are nothing more than my opinion so good luck!

I appreciate the help. I think I am going to take you advice on the straight betting as opposed to parlaying the picks. I would do more NFL games but I won't be there Sunday and I'd rather not mail my tickets. If you get anymore information I'd love to hear it, thanks again.
I also like Bama getting 10 against Fla. Saban gets his teams prepared for big games. And Harvin might play, but that ankle can't be much more than 50%.
the info is just stats/trends on previous meetings between clubs. For instance, the last (2) games between Rutgers and Louisville has gone over the total. Same with Ball St. and Buffalo although these are just indicators and are in no means fact as anything can happen on the field. My advice and a couple of bucks is only good for a cup of coffee...good luck.
Published sports column contributor, but I'm about the 560th ranked blogger on this site. I'll keep most of my posts sports related. My sense of humor exists to amuse myself. This has happened by default because I rarely seem to amuse anyone else. I'm ashamed that my favorite professional sports teams are from the city of San Francisco.
