The CIA, FBI, NBA and more
Oct 30, 2007 | 9:02AM | report this

Brian Urlacher has his own blog?  Wowsers, I wonder if he'll respond to my comments... golly gee I sure hope so.

I was comforted to know, after seeing David Stern's interview on ESPN this morning, that the commish is satisfied with his investigation into the referee scandal.  Mr. Stern came to this enlightened state of nirvana while laying in bed one evening and thinking of all the CIA and FBI scandals that cost thousands of people their lives.  These spies, moles, and leaks at our highest level of American intelligence lent Stern the idea that having a cheater ref in "his" league was okay.  Luckily for us with all of the investigations, there is no proof that Tim Two Times altered the outcome of any game.  If you don't find this asinine...

Joe Torre and Donnie Baseball in Dodger Blue?  I furrow my brow at the thought.

If I broke the Girardi as a candidate for the Yankees managerial job in a blog before it was released in regular print media, do I get credit for the leak?

Do even the Colts fans think their team has a shot this week?

A-Rod to the Giants.

Barry to the A's.

Andruw to the Dodgers.

Lowell to the Phillies.

Rowand to the Braves.

That's it.

Thanks mariner. Much appreciated! But, I hope the giants get a-rod so at least we'll have someone exciting to watch while we lose.

Urlacher must be a really good writer, too, 'cuz he already earned BOTD status LMAO!!!

Not sure if you read it or not, but ricko wrote a good blog about Stern and the new ref rules last week.

I'll give you credit for the leak.

Stern must've been playing with his loins while answering the questions concerning his officials. He wanted to make sure that both of his testicles weren't going to be placed in a vice. But the omnipresent as*wipes at ESPN wouldn't know how to ask a pertinent question if was tacked on a chalkboard ifront of them . As all they're prepared to do is to serve their high paying benefactors.
Of which ESPN is one of many.
A-Rod is like a much spirited prostitute always prepared to ply her services to the highest bidder without recourse.

TSI - I was on Cygnus blog the other yesterday and the FOX_admin came and "set him straight." Said that it really is Urlacher, like we give a s***. I'll have to check ricko's blog. Thanks.

Stern is a tool, and Schapp is a fraud...
Although A-Rod may be prostituting himself, I'd take him on my team because he's one of the very few "individuals" in the league I'd actually be happy to spend my hard earned dollars to see play.

The NBA story reminds me of a story my father told me about living in North Carolina. Years back, he moved there for Marine duty. He had to get the car inspected. There was a crack in the passenger mirror. Car fails. Inspector tells him to remove the mirror and come back. He literally removed the mirror (I didn't say replace) and returned the next day. No mirror there to fail, so the car passes.

Refs break the rules. Punish the refs? No, change the rules. Brilliant!

My quick takes on each one:

Urlacher will be more likely to find you and abuse you if he doesn't like your comments.

Stern is rather out of touch with his perception and the reality of the NBA. He's very concious over how america sees his sport, while he should just realize that there will be people that will always hate on the NBA, he should just accept it and move on, similar to how the NFL and to a certain extent, Major League Baseball has.

Torre And Mattingley - Dodgers. Sounds surriel, don't it?

The Giardi Story - No. The MSM hates bloggers.

Colts Fan - Is this because the Patriots aren't playing?

A-Rod to the Giants - I have him going to the Giants. Nice city, insane ownership, good fanbase, will keep people coming in through the turnstyles. Good fit.

Barry to the A's - Not likely. It's more like Barry to the Hometown Buffet for the senior citizen discount. I can't find a fit for him in the AL. Though San Diego might work.

Andruw to the Dodgers - Could happen, as ownership is looking to make a splash.

Lowell to the Phillies - Won't happen, as the Red Sox look like they'll keep him.

Rowand to the Braves - Also won't happen. The Bravos won't have that much money to toss at a centerfielder. It's more like Mike Cameron to the Braves.
