99 Belle gets in a shouting match with skipper Ray Miller... couple days later Belle gets suspended the first suspension for Bell in a MIRACULOUS stretch of 392 games.

Sportsnuttz, Albert was a great citizen and servant to major league baseball. Look at his accomplishments.....like you said a proud servant and distinguished gentleman of the sport. He may not make it into the Hall of Fame alongside that other illustrious character Ty Cobb. But he's worth the mention!
When it's all said and done within the next 8 years or so, let's consider who'll we be seeing on the ballot for the Hall of Fame (Shame). Mark McGuire, Sammy Sosa, Rafael Palmeiro and that inau####ious Barry Bonds. That's one hell of a club for exclusivity to say the least. They'd normally be considered sure first ballot HOF's but it won't be happening anytime soon. No act of contrition is going to get any of them in. Canseco stands a better chance then any of them and dare I say it ......even Pete Rose. You can bet once Selig is out of the picture it'll happen with regard to Rose.
