So yesterday the Pro Bowl Rosters came out.  And I have to say they are pretty much what we expected, am I right?  Now here is my problem, what is the point of the Pro Bowl exactly?  They are not playing for anything.  Okay some would say it's a pride thing, but really who cares enough to even watch it???  I mean at least in the MLB they are playing for home field advantage in the World Series.  The NFL waits until there season is completely over and then they want us to come back for one last game that means absolutely nothing?  To me this is just a way for the league to make a few more bucks.  Thats all I got.

During  the offseason of football I was estatic and I mean estatic to hear that Terrell Owens was coming to my hometown Dallas, Texas to play for my beloved Dallas Cowboys.  I thought I had finally gotten my cake and was about to get to eat it too!  I was a huge Terrell Owens fan and a lifetime Dallas Cowboys fan.  I thought this was the puzzle piece that was going to bring us back to our "Glory Days".  I knew we really didn't have a quarterback, but Terrell could make it happen.  Hell I could throw him the ball and he could make it happen.  So I was one of the few that totally supported Jerry Jones and Bill Parcells in this pick-up.  I withstood the injury in the preseason, thinking he's strong he'll rebound from it without a doubt.  I withstood the first controversial comments he made, because that was one of the reasons I loved the man.  I mean he could talk all the smack he wanted and actually walk the walk, alot of men can't do that.  I withstood the hand injury.  Then came the suicide attempt, or was it a suicide attempt newsstory of the week.  Then came some more of his comments.  Then there was the "napping" endzone celebration.  Then some more comments.  The birthday party.  Etc. Etc.  I defended him to my family, my friends, my co-workers, anything that would listen to me.  Then this Sunday morning I woke up with a bruise on my ####.  You know why?  I officially fell off the "Terrell Bandwagon".  I'm done.  I watched the interview with DeAngelo Hall after the game Saturday and thought, hummm bitter grapes.  I didn't believe DeAngelo Hall.  Then shortly after I watched the interview with the man himself, Terrell Owens.  I watched him admit to spitting in Hall's face, I watched him poorly apologize, I watched him try to justify it, and watched him act as if it was no big deal.  I felt so stupid.  This man disrespected a fellow athlete in the most disgracing way.  He made himself look horrible and lose all my respect and I think he portrayed a black light on the Cowboys as well.  So the NFL fines him $35,000.  Seeing as how he makes a little more than $296,000 a game I'm sure this really hit him hard.  HAH!  So what lesson is he going to learn exactly?  Nothing.  This is where I think Jerry Jones and the Cowboys organization need to take a stand and do something about it themselves.  So here I am with my beloved team clinching a spot in the playoffs, and an out of control, sel####estructing, direspectful spitter that is supposed to be leading us there??  Talk about a bittersweet double-edged sword.  Thats all I got.
