So at my house it has been an on-going arguemet of who will make it to the finals and who we want to make it to the finals... Blah blah blah. I think it will be Brazil (that's almost a given) and I'm hoping Germany because they are the host nation. Also because didn't they lose to Brazil in the final four years ago? I can't seem to remember, and if Germany wasn't in it four years age I would still like them to be on it. Does anyone care to take a guess with me?
yes brazil did play germany and yes brazil won in 2002. I agree about the germans i think they are the best team in the cup as of now. I have only missed about 5 games on live tv, but i have all of them tivo. you should watch spain, they are on fire, not to mention england hasnt played a good game yet.

Germany vs France. I would not like to see Portugal in the finals, not because they don't play good, but because they don't have the sportsmanship. "Everything is fair in love and war", I know, but there is something about the beauty of soccer that should be respected and maintained... And just to make a point, I like Italy as well, but I would love to see the host nation in the finals for the sake of energy that they will bring in.
soccergoddess100, We now have the semi final teams and believe me , I for one am not surprised by the teams that've made it through as they're deserving of it. France, Portugal,Italy and Germany have consistently played a high quality of soccer. England for me was the disappointment of the tournament as so much wasexpected of the team. The loss of Beckham to an injury and Rooney's sending of sealed England's fate against Portugal as they were unimaginative throughout the game.
Brazil's loss to France didn't come as a surprise as I thought that France was the only team in the tournament that could usurp the Brazilian's hold on the Cup. I'll be looking forward to the semis as they're played out for the whole world to see.
I am from Colorado. The best state of all! Soccer is my life. My parents were both pro-soccer referees. My mom was a FIFA. My dad for a reason unknown to almost anyone you ask,including himself, did not become one. For me I have been around soccer my whole life! And I love every second of it. The first time I went to a soccer game, I was three days old, watching the USA vs. Uru####, with my dad running the line, so my parents say. I don't remember. But, how much better could it get? Since I was old enough to watch I have been watching and attepting to play. Now I play all the time and enjoy every minute.
My favorite team to win the World Cup is probably Germany! Other than that I like Arsenal and ManU.
