I just want to say this THANK YOU to all the MEN and WOMEN who are serving or have served in the MILITARY at any time. I even send up a quiet THANK YOU to the MEN and WOMEN who died in the line of duty and to the ones who died days, weeks, months and years later as well. They are the ones who have sacrificed themselves to make sure we have the freedoms we have today. I try to do this every day of the year but it is especially important the next 10 days to do this since May 17, 2008 is ARMED FORCES DAY and May 26, 2008 is MEMORIAL DAY.
This is done in Memory of my Grandpas Norman S. Strasser Sr. (US ARMY WWII) who passed away in 1975 and Ted Teske (US ARMY WWII) who passed away in 1993. Plus honoring my dad Norman "Butch" S. Strasser Jr. (US NAVY VIETNAM 1960-1980) THANK YOU ALWAYS

At this moment in time it is time to ponder and pause . The contributions of the military isn't always appreciated but on merit alone the men and women of the armed forces deserve our respect and compliments.
It's a daunting task to be out there facing an enemy in any form of combat at this juncture.
sdstrasser...Thank you very much!!! I am currently completing a 15month tour in iraq as I type (13 days left!! wow..) I appreciate all the love and support everyone has shown here, it really makes our jobs easier. You have quite a powerful military family!
sdstrasser...Thank you, my father and his 6 brothers fought in WW2, their first hand stories will die with my generation. As, with any war fought by our troops we should praise and honor them.
