Vick's Lawyer Lied: Did Anyone Catch it?
Jul 27, 2007 | 3:07PM | report this
Guess what! The trial has not even begun, and Michael Vick’s lied! Can you believe it? Vick’s lawyer said that Mike prepared a brief statement, and in it he supposedly apologizes to his team mates for not attending “Spring Training.” Hahahahahahaha. Vick did not write that his lawyer did, and do you know why? There is no such thing as “Spring Training” in football. Unless Michael Vick has the IQ of a sponge he would know that his profession does not include anything called “Spring Training.” The lawyer did not misread the letter, rather he wrote the letter with incorrect facts. You have to love the stupidity of Michael Vick and his lawyer. The lawyer for spending three years in law school (and a year studying for the bar) to make a stupid mistake like lying and getting caught, and Michael Vick for hiring a stupid lawyer that gets caught lying. Oh yeah . . . and for dog fighting.

Vick lying suprises anyone? This is a man who lied to women about having #### so he wouldn't have to use a condom. What would keep him from lying about canines? Notice how everyone is switching to the word canine? Nobody wants to insult the canines by calling them dogs and confusing them with Vick.

Hahaha! Women call me dogs, but if you think about it dogs are loyal, well to their masters anyway. Funny that we call bad people animals when animals behave better than some people.

I don't get it.....Ray Lewis was involved in a murder case and we didn't bash him as much. I have three dogs that are very much a part of my family. Obviously, I don't condone animal cruelty. I also don't believe he is innocent by any means. I do, however, think we should let the facts be known before we jump on the hater bandwagon. I just really think if we were talking about a regular joe and not a "celebrity", things would be different. People get caught commiting worse crimes and we don't place judgement on them until all the facts are heard. Why should Michael Vick be any different? A jury should and will decide his fate. We need to focus on why people participate in dog-fighting and what we can do to prevent it from happening in the first place.

You do not get my blog. The point was his lawyer made an error that exposed a lie.

RW is correct on several levels. And I do think the outrage is justifiable in this case. Ray Lewis was involved with another human. We never know what went on with other humans in any case since when only humans are involved there are two sides to many stories legitimately. With animals it's usually pretty clear cut that dogs don't commit suicide over losing fights and don't go out and stick pry bars in their mouths and sure don't sit down on electric prods simply for the charge of it.

Vick never once said "these charges are ridiclous, I'm an animal lover". They got him dead #### with phone records, bank records, every way from Sunday if you been watching Cable news shows.

It would have been far better for Vick to have simply said "this is how I grew up, I made a mistake, I'm going to counseling and I hope I can play again." But he's not going to do that. In his ego driven macho world he has done nothing wrong. And for that he needs to be hung from the rafters because I am a black man, my children, everyone black in this country that lives normal, contributing lives gets painted as worthless every single time a high profile black person does something like this. I know of several black people on this blog who are incensed. We've worked too hard to let the Michael Vicks of the world stereotype all of us.

Any women , who in a fast casual relationship, who doesn't demand a condom to be on, are as stupid as the girls who get unwanted pregnancies, and deserve what they get. Women control their bodies, not the other way around. I've told my Daughters if you don't want a pregnancy, a std, you must control everything that enters your body. Birth control is the woman's responsibility. If they get #### or gonhorrea, too bad.

I think it is sad that people make foolish mistakes like that. I do not know why people repeat the same mistakes over and over again. At the same time not every parents edifies their children, unlike your situation, and that is too bad because they end up paying for their blunders down the road. Tnanks for the post.
