He is the fourth leading rusher, and his fumble to carry ratio is less than any other running back. He was great at finding the endzone and he was a great character guy. He will make the Hall of Fame whether you think he should or not so just get ready.
He was great on the Patriots and the Jets. In fact, he was the oldest player to ever win the rushing title, and the first player to win a rushing title without breaking a 20 yard run, which I think is a cool little piece of info.
I am adding this brief addendum because Ricko rightly commented on my blogs defensive title. Well here it is: This blog is geared not so much to people who appreciate the talents of an elite Running Back like Curtis Martin, but to foolish observers that think that players with fancy names are the only ones who deserve to be in the Hall of Fame.
One of the most durable backs in NFL history. The 'old' man just kept producing when naysayers were predicting his productivity to slide. He would definitely have my vote on a 1st ballot.
Don't care much for the title of your blog, as it seems you are already being defensive. No need for that if you feel confident about your subject matter. But yes, Martin should get into the hall.

Well actually I was responding to a group of cynics that were saying that Curtis Martin was just a "decent back" and not an elite back, thus I wrote this to get on their nerves. haha peace.
