I recently read an article about Pacman Jones and it appears that one of the shootings that Pacman is being investigated for started because he "threw money at strippers."
I am just wondering what is wrong with that? Is that not what you are supposed to do? Well, I am not sure someone please fill me in on the deal with strippers and money throwing. Thanks
The money throwing (thousands of dollars) incident started a melee outside the club that resulted in a shooting which left one person paralyzed. Pacman supposedly had around 86k on him when he was questioned....it's inciting a riot.
It's the events that followed afterwards that has brought the unnecessary attention to Pacman. If he can't act like a mature individual instead of a sophomoric school kid then the trouble will definately follow him. And it hasn't helped that the promises that he'd made to the NFL commisioner have already been broken once again. This gout isn't just dumb but he gives more than a few dumb jocks a bad name ! The Titans ought to cut his #### but at the moment there's no one there whose got the guts to do it ! They're now within their rights to do so !
On top of throwing 86K at strippers then he had the nerve to get upset when they started picking the money up. He wanted it back. That started the whole riot.
Jones has been at several clubs always resulting in shootings. Coincedence, I think not.
While strip clubs are not places I have frequented within the past few years, I do have some slight history with them and at no time during those years did I see the constant disruptions, to put it mildly, that strip clubs seem to have these days with professional athletes. Perhaps I am out of the loop with the changing times, and we should remember that people of some fame will always get disporportionate amounts of publicity when they are involved in things that would be little noted by the average citizen. All those things notwithstanding however, it seems to me that Pacman and certain professional athletes should be in a financial/celebrity position that they would not find themselves in situations to be reported as "fighting over a woman" as is often the case.
Years ago, in a land farfar away, I did go to the clubs. I worked graveyard with a couple of guys, one little loudmouth and one huge "gentle giant". Our routine was to go to a local pub that catered to our place of employment (and the night shift) and was thus open at 7:00 am. We would drink beer and shoot pool till the strip clubs opened at noon, and then take our good buzz and go. The little guy always opened his mouth to some "wrong guy" and got it going. The "gentle giant", having the buzz, wasn't so gentle anymore and would come to the little guys rescue, and a brawl would ensue, myself to be found hiding under a table cheering the combatants on. Didn't have to worry too much about guns in those days; very few packed back then and most of those stayed in their own hoods.
On the other hand, when I went with other guys I never remember a brawl. The point is, it isn't so much when as who. PM hangs with a bad boy crowd, guys looking for trouble. Or who knows, maybe he's the "loud mouth little guy" who gets it started and surrounds himself with gentle giants to cover his #### when it gets going. Either way he needs to find a new crowd to hang with or eventually the courts will find one for him. Either way he's in danger of permanently losing his job. What a waste.

If you surround yourself with so-called friends who have a history of becoming violent, belligerent, or just down right ignorant before and especially after consuming liquor. You are asking for trouble, even if you are not doing anything wrong. If these idiots are within your group, people will automatically assume you were involved, or the cause of any altercations/shootings which may occur.
Well I get your point he has had so many issues. I was alluding to the one where a man was left paralyzed. But I think Lisa4usc answered my question.
Initially, at least the way the article explained it, Jones threw money and it upset a group of people. I thought that throwing money would not have anything to do with a shootout. But, it appears that more was involved then explained in the article. Thanks
its not inciting a riot. Millionaire pervs all over the world toss money. if tossing money at a #### can be so obviously connected with a riot - as lisa suggests - then they needs a sign on the door. no throwing money over X amount of dollars, you'll scare the thugs and start a #### stamped even if Pacman dropped an elbow on the stripper, i dont see the logical connection to a gunshots. maybe i missed something. is shooting legal during a riot? is the shooter not culpable because some kid made it rain?
explain that one.
given hindsight and the correct tools, i could forecast yesterdays lottery numbers with surprising accuracy. lets take our logic to the next level people.
you throw money at #### in a strip club. i'm glad i never cross that $86k line.i have a family and i cant handle getting a murder charge simply because the #### lawmen are too inept to find the real shooter and punish him.
Truly,
Did you put this topic up here to just get people to blog? According to your blog bios, you seem like a very well educated man. But like so many doctrine writers, no common sense. What did he do wrong? Of course, you may be right, "if the glove don't fit - you must acquit." Oops, wrong superstar wannabe. Really, if you are in knowledge of someone shooting like a gutless person from behind a tree (whether you pull the trigger or not) you are aiding and abetting a person in a malicious act, withholding evidence in the commission of a felony crime and violating the "dumb as a box of rocks" mentality. Pacman is a criminal and maybe he he should have saved some of that $86,000 strip club money so he could get the Direct TV package and watch all the games this year. By the way, have you heard lately how the person that was shot is doing? If Pacman truly had nothing to do with it, he would have at least went to the hospital, or commented on how tragic this situation was. I guess his suspension is justification for his arrogance and silence. I heard that OJ is looking for some runnning partners though. They can call him at 1-800-NO-GLOVE..
I think you misunderstood my question. I wanted to know what exactly he did wrong. I know he is being charged for something, but I wanted to know which crime was he indicted for, as well as suspended for, or were all the brushes he had with the law the reason for his suspension.
