Yes, rjm2179, the Big 10 is better than Mountaineer Dung, but not much. Have fun with your leftovers. Tis the season for those, you know. As to passing, you need a coach that knows routes. And since he fired most all of Michigan's assistants, you better for a passing coach for that. Michigan's motto for the next year or so, "FOUR PLAYS AND PUNT AWAY". All scripted and ready for you to enjoy. You best hope his writers don't go out on strike.
I played High School football with him, he's a choker, he choked in the WV AAA State Championship,but someone saved him, Pitt game choke, being up front man choke, will he choke at Michigan, BIG CHOKE, don't blame WVU, they did everything they could do beside making hime king of the world, so Rich good luck, keep your airway open, hope to see you on the field would that be nice. Okay, WVU fans win the crybaby bowl hands down. When you lose a coach why not look at yourselves and ask why? IF everything was so great and the job was so deamy why would he leave?
Certainly not for the money. He got very little compared to waht Bama offered him last year. You have to ask yourselves why. I understand that he actually talked to the Wolverines half way through the season. and never expected numbers 1 and 2 to lose thrusting WVU into a top spot. As for firing the coaches, they still get paid through out their contracts. WVU should look at one of them to se if they may fit your program
Now a smart thing to do would be to hire from within. Bowden isnt the answer. Tressel would be fantastic but even the Wolverines know that Fantasy Island comes on at 8 pm
As for the Pitt game, isnt Pitt in the same conference? WVUFAN28 would have you believe the coach lost the game but the players really did. Yes everyone, WVUFAN28 is a q.u.e.e.r buttboy

Something many of you just wouldn't understand, Loyalty. Finish the job you started. Deliver on your promises. None of these things RR has done. Was he a good coach? Check this, defense stuffs the run because they stack the line and cover the flanks. But behold down the field you have recievers running wild and wide open. What does coach RR call for the next play? Run to the outside again. Pat White, don't pass the ball, follow the blocking scheme, even though we know it will break down, but don't go vertical down the field, ALTHOUGH the play is for the taking.

You see coach RR just didn't realize the plays were there that would force the defense to stay honest and open up the run.
No, he has no loyalty and can't deliver on his promises because he CAN'T COACH nor can he read DEFENSES and adapt his play calling.
Nor is he commited on improving himself.
Nor can he handle adversity and runs when adveristy presents itself. You see RR is simply trying to compensate for his lack of ability and coaching skill by becoming the BIG MICHIGAN man. The fact is, he is still a lost little boy chasing a dream without realizing it takes a man to BE the DREAM.

No. He left that team hanging at thier lowest point and then came the Fiesta Bowl when the truth was exposed.
FINALLY we got to see the true skill level of those wonderful players. Pat White was no longer a lop-sided rusher. Suddenly he has balanced stats in both the rushing and passing
I am so sick of WVU fans being labeled cry babies because of this.All i can say is WAIT UNTIL THE DAMN SEASON IS OVER BEFORE YOU SWITCH JOBS!!!!!!you know tigs, he would have alot more money by taking the Alabama job last year but his mom convinced him to stay AND(drumroll please) the Alabama job ####-ummm no on wanted it and they put more pressure on coaches than UofM. Did anyone see how june Jones left hawaii? After teh bowl game AND he told the UofH up front he was talking to another school.Rod DID NOT have permission to talk with UofM, why else do you think he met witht hem in god's butt crack toledo? BECAUSE HE WAS SNEAKING AROUND AND CHEATING ON US-this i swhy we are mad. but i digress.We ended up getting a fine coach who the players love.Personally I think Rod will be kicking tressels #### in 3 years once he has his recruits as long as they don't run him out. I am an avowed "West Coast" college football fan who happens to live between Big 12 and Big 10 country and spends many a late Saturday night watching football from the "conference of champions".
While I am not an SEC-hater, I do believe SEC fans have a tendency to think too highly of their teams, without knowing much about football beyond the confines of dixieland.
