The other day I was curious as to who everones least favorite team(s) and player(s) are in sports so I decided to ask. Everyone who do you hate the most and why?
For me in the NFL its the Cowboys and Patriots. I hate the Cowboys mainly because I'm an Eagles fan. I hate the Patriots because they win all the time, get every call in every game, beat the Eagles in the Super Bowl, and beat the Eagles this past season which pretty much ended any chance at the Eagles making the playoffs. My two least favorite players in the NFL are Tony Romo and Terrell Owens for obvious reasons.
In Baseball, as a Red Sox fan I obviously hate the Yankees the most by far. My least favorite player by far is Alex Rodriguez because well he is a huge tool and he is a Yankee.
In the NBA I cannot stand the Detriot Pistons. I don't really have a reason for hating the Pistons, they did beat my Sixers but that was very expected and I hated them long before that. But there is something about them that I can't stand. I don't really have a least favorite NBA player, but for some reason Kevin Garnett and Manu Ginobili have always been disliked by me.
In NCAA sports my least favorite college is Florida State. That comes from me being a Gator. It's hard to have a least favorite college player because they are all just kids and most are only stars for a year or two so I am going to pass on this one.
I don't care enough to talk about the NHL or any other sport, but if you want to feel free to say who you hate in any sport including NASCAR, golf, Tennis, or anything else I am leaving off this list.
Notre Dame trumps all for me. Everything associated with them makes me want to wretch. But, is no particular order, The Cleveland Browns, The Ravens, The Bungles, Michigan football, UConn basketball, the Yankees, the Cowboys, The Patriots, the Flyers, The Rangers(NHL), West Virginia, and the Cubs.

I also will ALWAYS root against any team from Texas, and all their players. Don't know why...not jealousy...I think I just don't like Texas. I started feeling a little bad for the Dallas Mavericks, however, when the Hornets ended their season as they were imploding, which caused Avery to be fired.
I don't like the BoSox, and I can't stand fairweather Yankee/BoSox fans. Like I said...this is as a Cubs fan whose suffered. This is as a Saints fan who has suffered.
I also had a hard time in the NBA finals, because I've never liked it when a team just buys a championship (Patriots, Yankees, Celtics) team. Except when the Saints acquire Jeremy Shockey, Vilma, etc. Hypocracy...whatever. That being said, I've never liked Kobe, so I didn't really want the Lakers to win, but I also didn't want the Celtics to win...so I pulled for the Lakers.
PrpleGold...enemy mine...are you saying he looks like Louis Gosset Jr's character? Cuz that's awesome! I've always thought he looked like an alien, or a newborn infant whose face is all scrunched together!
we're all admitting that these are personal vendettas...therefore completely irrational, and don't need to be defended, especially by logic and reason...so...I feel it needs to be said that if anyone on this blog hates your team, just let it go, and don't defend it by being a ####.
Please explain to me how the Celtics or Patriots bought a championship, seeing as how they both operated under a salary cap? If you wanted to say a team like the Yankees/Red Sox who are able to spend more money than the rest of the league than that makes sense.
i really regret this now, but... i had many!!! the steelers, raiders, vikings.... basketball , the lakers before (kobe) why i regret??? because now as a adult hopefully i can see these teams play and marvel at their talent and not whine!!!!!! hey a team rather you love them or hate them are either going to win or lose, the name of the game!!!! god i missed out on some great talent becasue i was such baby!!!!
I wanna chime in on this, as alot of my favorite teams are VERY hated.....Red Wings, Pistons; Indians fans hate my Tigers, and Packers and Bears fans hate my Lions, but so do I. Figure that one out.
I'll start with NASCAR, due to the lack of people who care. I'm a Tony Stewart fan, ALOT of people hate Tony. Here are my hated:

Jeff Gordon- Pretty boy winning with the best equipment.

Kyle Busch- Next time he bows after winning I'll kick his nose into his brain.

NY Yankees, Boston Red Sox, and Derek Jeter. All TRULY over-rated.

Dallas Cowboys (and their fans)- They think everybody is just SO ####ing jealous of them..... We're not.
Tony Romo: Over-achieving Rex Grossman waiting to happen.
Terrell Owens: Far too full of himself to be as good as he could be. (But so is "Ocho Cinco")

LA Lakers: Kobe and who?
NHL
Nobody can touch my Red Wings, (which is why we're hated) so I'll go back to the late 90's and say Colorado Avalanche. I hope Claude LeMeiuxxeau? burns in hell.
I really think that, as human beings, we are entitled to be irrational at times...provided we KNOW we are being irrational. My wife and I fight about this all the time...I've never minded irrationality, provided that it's recognized...then logic is off the table...
thesupp,I completely understand your feelings on ND.Faith,responsibility,honor,integ rity,tradition,pride,along with a major emphasis on education are just horrible qualities to teach a young man or woman.
MLB: The Yankees because of the way they can throw around money and it frustrates me that they have so much money and still can't win, if only Billy Beane had that kind of money to work with....
NBA: I hate Tim Duncan's whining, but most of all I hate Kevin Garnett. I cannot stand the way he constantly shoots from the perimeter despite being seven feet tall and able to dominate around the rim.
NCAA: Oregon State because I am a huge Ducks fan. Notre Dame because everyone seems to think the world revolves around them. I also hate the Big-10 as it is extremely overrated.
I hate the Cowboys too... being a Skins fan it's just par for the course. I do like the Patriots though, for obvious reasons... cause they're good and fun to watch, and in the AFC which doesn't bother me too much unless we meet them during the season (like last year) or in the Superbowl, which is likely for anyone in the NFC cause they've been there ALOT this century, and won most of them! I hope Dallas CHOKES big time this year, they are WAY overrated and they let all the hype get the best of them in most cases... soooo I say HYPE IT BABY!!! Keep them on the reality TV, keep them in the press... it usually always plays against them, and I LOVE IT!

I hate Jerry Jones because he not only signs criminals but actually seeks trades to bring criminals into his franchise.
I hate Tony Romo because is a tool and I want to see Patrick Kerney or Julian Peterson wipe that stupid smirk off his mug on turkey day. I also hate him because he is the most overrated QB in the NFL, Alex Smith can make the pro bowl with Owens, Witten and that offensive line.

I've thought about writing a blog like yours but I'll add my two cents to yours. I'll tell you mt favorite and least favorites.
MLB I love the Red Sox, Brewers and Cubs and don't like the Yankees, Cardinals, White Sox, Mets or A's mostly
NFL I'm a Steelers fan so I don't like the rest of the AFC North or former AFC Central teams. Also the Raiders, Cowboys and Patriots now that they're good.
NHL I like the Maple Leafs and Stars and dont like the Devils, Senators, Canadiens, Blackhawks or Red Wings among others oh the NY Islanders also.
NBA In basketball I've lost a lot of my love of the sport from the 1980s but I like the Spurs and kind of the Bucks although they have sucked for a long time. Your 76ers and the Celtics broke the Bucks hearts several times along with the Pistons and I also don't like the Mavericks, Lakers and Suns vs the Spurs. By the way my favorite Bucks memory is when they beat the Sixers in seven games in 1986 and Julius Erving missed a shot at the buzzer in the seventh game.
In college I like Wisconsin, Texas, Missouri and West Virginia best. Michigan and Ohio State are alwayds fun to beat in the Big Ten.

I don't really hate any team. I do hate expansion in all sports. Great for the owners, but where are all the great teams.
Yes, the Celts bought a title, lol. What did the Lakers give up for Gasol. What did the Clippers give up for Camby. What did the Rockets give up for Artest. Of course none of these player were given to the other team.
The Celts gave up 5 players, 2 1st round picks, and cash for KG. Several are still playing in Minn and one is one of the best young big men in the league. By recent trade standards, the Celts got ripped off.
Jealousy is a bad thing, esp when it warps your thinking, but then any 5 yr/old with a keyboard can get on the internet.
Loudmouth, clueless Lakers fans, you know the type. always bragging about how good their team is (which makes it even funnier when they choke), the ones that always say quit whining about the officiating,but then turn around and complain about how the refs really hate them (even if they are getting all the good calls).
The ones that will come on your teams thread, trash your team/city/state, use personal attacks on you and generally make a nuisance of them selves, but if you even think about defending your team/city/state/self, you get the word hater screamed at you. Got to love the hypocrisy.

NBA: My least favorite teams are the Detroit Pistons and the San Antonio Spurs. You ight think I'm crazy, but I like both the Celtics and the Lakers. So I took a lot of pleasure in seeing my favorite teams knock out my least favorite ones. I hate them because the Spurs have been big time rivals in recent years against the Lakers and the Spurs beat the Celtics for 17 straight times. I hate the Pistons because of all their atitudes. They jaw at each other and Rasheed Wallace is such a child. Also most years, the team relies on starters. I like teams with good benches.
For players, I'd have to say the only one I hate is Ron Artest. He's a disgrace to the league.
NHL: I hate the Montreal Canadiens, mainly because I like the Bruins. I don't really hate any players. But I dislike Martin Broduer the most because he's so overrated.
NFL: Since I'm a Patriots fan, There are no teams or players I hate because the Pats can beat anyone.
I don't care for baseball that much. It's too boring for me to watch.
Patriots, cheaters (not just the signal stealing flap - but the cheap shots, the injury delays of games, the incredibly excessive holding in the secondary, etc.)
Bobby Knight (peel the genius back a bit, and he's pure bully)
Pete Rose (also a cheater, a bully, and a louse - albeit one that has a majority of fans wanting him to be forgiven, ... puhleeeze). And The Big Red Machine was my favorite team of all time, ... say it ain't so (oh, ... he already said it ... over & over & over).
Cristiano Ronaldo (pretty boy dive artist; one of the all time great talents, ruined - although there's hope for him, ... he seems to be maturing a bit - e.g. diving and writhing after slight contact, vs. NO contact in the past)

"Hate" izza pretty strong word and since I think that "apathy" iz da opposite of love...I finally got to the point where I was beyond "hate" and am now "apathetic" 'bout Clemen's and Bonds...Ifya hate someone...it means they count..
Although Dallas is one of my favorites, I cannot stand Romo. I think he has gotten by on plain luck so far, yes I know i'll catch hell for that one! Love the Colts and Peyton. hate the pats and pretty boy TOM.

My Least Favorite Teams and Players for the NBA:
Team- Boston Celtics (they get every call their way and they have no class.)
Players- Paul Pierce, Brian Scalabrine (really cocky and have no class. Scalabrine is a bench warmer and he might be the cockiest person in the NBA)
Those aren't my leasy favorite just because I am a Lakers fan, they are just so hateable.
I HATE Kobe. All he does is whine and petition the refs...he could'nt hold MJ'S jock in his prime and is a personal cancer with his attitude
I'm sooooo sick of hearing Yankee fans talk s*** about 26 championships and 14 year playoff run, which is the standard response to the recent successes in New England...I don't mention the Celt's and their 17 banners if the Jazz suddenly have a run...
