Ok i used to live in Philly and am an Eagles fan. I now live in Texas( Houston, so its not that bad, but still Texas) and there are so many Cowboy fans. And all they do is run their mouths about how they're gonna win the Super Bowl. I have heard so much #### the past year(especially this week, which is why I'm posting this) about the Dallas #### Cowboys. And I have a message for every single Cowboy fan in Texas.... actually the whole #### world....
THE COWBOYS SUCK
Every time I argue with a Cowboy fan... its the same #### thing. They say, "We have five Super Bowls, how many do the Eagles have?" And its like ok I get it.... in the early 90's the Cowboys were good. How bout the recent history. They haven't won a playoff game in 12 #### years. The Eagles have 5 since 2002... thats not a whole lot... but its more than #### zero. At least some years my team does something where I can get excited. The Cowboys have not won a playoff game in 12 years. How many years do the Cowboy fans get excited?
Then they go to the we just won the division #### And I'm like are you serious, the Eagles have won five out of seven division titles. Then these #### Cowboy fans tell me that those don't mean anything because the Eagles never did anything in the playoffs any of those years. Are you #### stupid. The Cowboys lost their first #### playoff game the one and only time they won the division in the last seven years and yet the Eagles never backed up a division title. How about that time we won the NFC in 2004. Win ONE SINGLE playoff game then i'll say you backed up your regular season.
Then they brag about their 13 probowlers. It's like wow you had 13 probowlers and you lost to the Giants in your first playoff game, who had like what.... 2 probowlers. They didn't even beat the Eagles the last time they played(who had 3)... on your turf... And don't give me that we rested our players #### because they all played the whole game. And I look at this game to see more what the Eagles will look like next year because it was one of 3 games McNabb played at 100%.The Eagles won all three of those games.
Then they say well we have the better team right now. All I can say to that is... thats your personal uninformed, stupid, fat, #### opinion. Then I tell them to name one position on the field where the Cowboys are legitly better than the Eagles... other than WR(and I count TE in that as well, and I challenge any Cowboy fan to this). First they all say quarterback. As like Tony Romo is better than McNabb. I know that Donovan has been hurt every year since the Eagles won the NFC, but there was no doubt that when he was healthy he was a top 3 QB in the league. And Romo turned the ball over 20 times last year.... 20. That is a ton of turnovers for someone who is suppposed to be better than a five time probowl QB. Then they say running back because they have Marion Barber.... I laugh at them because the don't realize we have Brian Westbrook(more than 2000 yards from scrimmage last year) and added Lorenzo Booker... who is explosive despite only one year in the league.
Then I realize something. It is impossible to find a die-hard Cowboys fan. That might be because there are maybe two in existance. Every other Cowboys fan is only around when the team just had a 13 win season. I realized the seven years I have lived in Texas, I only had to take #### from Cowboy fans for one of them. Maybe thats because I didn't even know there were Cowboy fans in Houston until "their" team had a 13 win year. Eagles fans never go away.
So any cowboy fan who wants to talk ####....go ahead. Or maybe you should wait until your team does something.... like win multiple divisions in a row, or win the NFC and go to the Super Bowl..... or maybe just win one single playoff game.... and realize you are talking to a fan of one of the most dominant teams in the NFC this decade... notice THIS decade... not two decades ago or four decades ago... but this one. And if you talk #### to me don't go hiding after we kick your #### in week 2 on Monday Night on your turf... To go 13-4 against your pathetic, overrated team since 2000.

I am a Cowboys fan who grew up in Philly and I must say it is much of the same there. Five good seasons out of 40 or so and fans write stuff like this. I honestly don't remember many vocal eagle fans during the days of Bubby Brister and Rich Kotite. Those were the days some local car dealership had to buy up extra tickets so the games would be on TV because they weren't selling out.
I guarantee you were one of the no class Philly fans that cheered when Michael Irvin got hurt. You people are so bitter because all of your teams SUCK. The Phillies haven't won a WS since 1980, the Eagles have NEVER won a Super Bowl, the 76ers and Flyers haven't done squat either. Good thing you have Rocky Balboa.... oh wait.... he's NOT EVEN REAL!!!

I've had to hear from the handful of Iggle fans about how great their team is, even though they haven't done anything. At least we have history. All you have is 2 failed SB games, Reggie bolting for GB, and snowballing Santa.

I've been a Cowboys fan since I was 6, so for 30 years I have been through the good and bad. So if I brag and pound my chest after one season on somewhat of an upswing, then deal with it.

Hey Midnite, it's not just the Sheagles fault that all teams from philly are poor. Flyers, 76ers, Phillies... they're all losers year in and year out. 25 years have passed since any of the four major sports in philly have won anything.

Hey dude, I'm not one of those fans that boast about the wins and the history. But I take great pride in the fact that I've been a Cowboy fan since 1965. We do have a great team and pretty much always have. If you will look at the history of the boys you will notice that it is one of the top 3 if not number 1 since its incorporation. I suffered through the 0-12 season and the 1-13 season so I true blue. I wear my color support my team good or bad. Take my word there are some band wagon fans out there but there are many many true fans that can quote you the rosters from the beginning to today. Don't be so critical. If we were in any other city that has a pro team you would here just as much ####!!! It goes with the territory.
A message to ALL who aren't Cowboy fans...the team is loaded with talent! Pacman will behave and perform. Pass coverage will be redefined by their secondary. Pockets will collapse with a thundering rush.
On offense, Garrett will "rock" as the O.C. Romo will complete his maturation as the QB/leader of this team. Barber will have 10 plus 100 yard rushing games. Terrell and crew will leave defenses SEEING STARS everywhere on the field...

Too much is being made of the 11 year drought in dallas. 3 of thoses seasons were crash year. Most teams who dominate for a long time have a fall-off,as the 9ers did late 90s, steelers did by mid 80s and dallas did early 00's. Take away those three years and they were a playoff team 6 of the other 8. Many franchises cant say that. No, they havent won but its a young team with rising stars .The last 2 playoffs were growing pains. How many years did it take eli, peyton of mcnabb to get to the big game. Eagles fan who wrote earlier is extremely jealous. I grew up in philly and have seen your type.You hate when boys fans talk about history, yet you hold onto your success in early 00's like a trophy, yet you came out without a ring and are now on your way to mediocrity.
As to your comparisons- Romo also threw 36 TDs, over 400 yards and rushed for a couple more. He has not hit full potential and when he does he will be as good or better than mcnabb in his best years which are now past. Westbrook is certainly more proven than BArber but I guarantee the boys run game with Barber and Cat Jones will be more productive than eagles. Dallas is better at receiver and tight end and on the O-line. The Cowboys pass rush of Ware, Ellis, Spencer is as good as eagles. Newman, Henry, Pacman and rookie Jenkins give them at LEAST as much at corner as philly has. No arguing the quality of philly D, but it is about even with dallas, if even that. And on specila teams, we will now have pacman and maybe cat returning kicks.Who do youhave thats better? You beat us once last year, but your team is not as good.
This is going to be fun. First off, I'm a Skins fan. So I hate all you other NFC East teams equally, but that is equal across the board for each team in our division. Second, every team last year sucked except for the NY Giants. See, unless you win the Superbowl you have won nothing. The New England Patriots failed last year as much as the Miami Dolphins did. Third, the word "####" is spelled with only one "d", and that is a good definition of the person who wrote this rant. He ####ed about Cowboys fans hanging on to their teams glory days in the early 90's, then does the same thing for his Eagles in the 00's. There's a difference here, see in the 90's I think the Cowboy's won 3 Superbowls. They have hall of famers from that time. The only popular Eagle is Ron Jaworski....and I hate that guy. The NFC East is going to again dominate in the NFL this year. It is the toughest division by far. I hope the Eagles do not suck. In fact I hope all 4 teams make the playoffs, now that would be something to see.

The Cowboys are as loaded with talent as any team sans the Chargers and the Pats, however until they win a playoff game they can't be considered even one of the top 3-4 teams in the NFL much less the prohibitive favorites.
The Cowboys not only have to make the playoffs, they have to WIN a game in the playoffs. They have the personnel to get it done. Excellent pick with Felix Jones. He'll complement Marion Barber very well. But the real X-Factor is Tony Romo. If he plays all season like he did the first half of 2007, they'll be fine.
as a part of the nfc east and the love of the redskins we learn to hate each other's teams with a passion but their is no better game than the skins and boys.as for the eagle man living in texas well man what do you expect.you are probably getting drilled and they love every bit of it and if it was a cowboy fan living in philly well you may never see the sun rise.i can't say good luck to either team but lets all fight the good fight and may the nfc east rule as always.go redskins
