IS NASCAR REALLY THE WWE ON WHEELS?
Jul 08, 2008 | 7:27PM | report this

IS NASCAR REALLY THE W.W.E. ON WHEELS?

That question is in the same league as Charlie Browns "Is there really the Great Pumpkin on Halloween."

I have decided to put this question to the test and once and for all, reveal the facts.

Ok. We all know there has been commercials over the last few years with WWE wrestlers appearing in ads with the drivers. The Big show ( a 7ft goliath with a slow mind) and John Cena ( the crowd favorite that gets beat up all the time).

Under the guise of commercials were these "pro" wrestlers really in NASCAR circles to teach the NASCAR drivers how to act and carry on a rigged fight for crowd excitement? As it appears considering NASCAR letting up on the drivers emotions lately, that could appear to be a fact.

For many moons the fans have said NASCAR is fixing the races to favor a particular driver or bunch up the race to alter the last few laps . The always  mystery caution with 2 laps to go or less really seems to help that particular driver  that NASCAR wants to win. Looks that way. Doesn't it?

Well the fans got wise to that fact so they had to be more creative. In comes the WWE wrestling training. You know these guys really take hits that would normally half kill us if we took a hit like that. Now it seems at the last couple laps there is one driver that seems to take a spin with no one around him or he will slam into another driver to create a big wreck blocking the  other drivers making a last lap charge to the front.  Wonder if they use scrambled radios to convey the order? You can almost predict  the out come. Looks fishy doesn't it? Yes it does.

So what are we watching? A NASCAR race or the WWE on wheels? You be the judge?

Ok let me get to my extensive research on this topic. I have watched many tapes and scanned many radio frequencies to look for possible evidence that would disclose these allegations.

Numerous interviews with the drivers in undisclosed places away from the track were done to get to the truth. No tip was un turned to get the facts. Many thousands of hours was spent on this investigation to bring out the truth and now it is ready to be revealed.

It is my conclusion that these allegations are false. No evidence was ever turned up to reveal any WWE involvement in NASCAR and no evidence was ever disclosed that NASCAR alters the races. Sadly since the intrusion of the open wheeled drivers, there has been more sensless wrecks caused by their lack of driving experience with the cars. The other so called incidents were attributed to the drivers failure to be focused or not knowing how to avoid crashes.

I would like to thank the race officials for their generous accomodations at the Las Vegas Hilton as well as the complimnet of grid gals to help in this investigation. With out their help and accomodations, this investigation would not have been possible.

Thanks for straightening that out, photogr. I would have sworn that Kyle Petty and Mikey Waltrip were 'taking a dive' to bring out that late race yellow every race.

Hananhan: Not so. It just looks that way. Then again, I classify these two drivers in the not focused category.

I thought about the Playboy bunny club gals but I have been banned from the club thus the grid gals.

No I wasn't distracted at all. The gals were quite helpful with my decision making. Even missed out on the Poker tournament.

The one thing that I didn't mention in the article is the close resemblance of Brian France to the WWEs head hauncho's son Brian MacMahon ( I think that is the name). Possibly cousins but found no evidence to support that claim.

Kristen My new best friend..lol

Photo-I just wish if they had issues with each other they would take it to pit row then a giant steel cage would come down and they could beat each other silly with metal chairs-The only driver that would cheat is Gordon he would refuse to take his helmet off.

The NASCAR drivers are too good as actors to benefit from any lesson that they'd receive from the Neanderthals of the WWE . Which inofitself is nothing but pure mindless escapism .

We see the drivers sometimes calling each other out. But at the end of th day they rarely do anything to one another. If it's pure drama that you're looking for in somewhat of a comical way. Then look no furhter Danica berating her fellow drivers when she tends to feel that they've screwed up. Were she a man carrying on like that , she'd have got her a## kicked already.
Chimin out.

Photogr - I think you make a good point. These races seem almost scripted to me, and surely the outcomes are never in doubt. It is too bad they can't find a better way to get the Cup guys licensed like NHRA does...maybe force them to NWS until they have proven they have the hours to handle tight spot drives....and maybe an IQ test to see whether they have any brains and are willing to use them. Is there a test for common sense? Many cup drivers would fail that one...but WWE is still a notch or two above NASCAR in ridiculousness.

If it is WWE, then Dale Jr already has an advantage.
Hulk Hogan's daughter Brooke is some nice company to have around for any sort of wrestling.

Does Brooke ride side-saddle ? 'cause Denise Milani does so, if only to keep her balance.

And if she were a Ferris Wheel that'd be a ride I willingly step on for a sojourn .

Would any of you guys do the same as well ?

Things are getting so bad amongst Rays' fans with regard to the slight shown to many of their players in the All Star balloting. That they're think of asking for a recount before the game commences.

As Don King'd say with a slight change in the wording .....' only in Florida , only in Florida .

And with the WWE sadi to be givving away up to $1m in prize money as some sort of publicity gimmick. How is it that NASCAR hasn't seen to go down that same route at this juncture ?
If it's working for McMahon and the WWE then why can't Helton and Brian France accomodate their most ardent of fans likewise ?

I agree with your decision. NASCAR drivers are two much of midgets to wrestle, and WWE wrestlers are too big to fit in the cars. Last October, John Cena flew across the aisle from me on a flight.

Dr. Dane: I would certainly hope so or I would run out of topics to write about.

Beavernut:

Oh No. We can't have IQ test. It might knock Mikey out of contention. Granted NASCAR needs to license the drivers. That way we could get rid of the ran in the back drivers like Derick Cope and the open wheel guys

Uh Oh !! This is not a good match. Hogan and Jr.
She is an Amazon with buldging muscles every where. Jr. would be so hen pecked that he would have to ask permisssion to race.

Now Jr. and Danica would be a match made in heaven.

"John Cena flew across the aisle from me on a flight." Crikey! I hope no one was hurt. Pretty quiet and laid back out of the ring isn't he.

Top: That sounds like a good idea on the money prize but NASCAR has done that in the past. If a picked fans driver wins the race the fan gets a million bucks. In the GGW circles they get bananas

NASCAR it is. But ya know the WWE does some times appear to be real.

Got an inside scoop on the WWE. Those guys use razors on their forhead to make small cuts before the match. Then the other guys in the ring go popping them on their forhead to make it look lie blood is gashing out of a head wound.

Never believe a guy that says he is a pro wrestler if he doesn't have old scars on his forehead.

The only way that Danica'll get one over on any of the guys within IRL is if they're completely effemninate. And that's not to say that there aren't any guys who are within that genre. I bet however that she could probably kick Castroneves' a## ?
Tough guy or not the DWTS show has all but killed his credibility to be taken seriously as an athlete.

One a different note I'm glad to see that there's no acrimonial fallout from Smoke leaving JGR to go with Haas Racing . It was commendable the way that things were handled by both parties.

WWE Car...I heard "Lets let Kyle win again". That from the #88 scanner? Hmm.. Then this. "Hey JuneBug what da heII do you wanna do that for??"...Crack.."Hey Cuz..I miss seeing the Bud cans...At least when he wins, the Bud flys"...Break "Excuse me gentlemen, but if you start doing that, I am going to tear your car apart in inspection. Disqualify everything and take 1000 points. You get my drift" France...

Then Brian not knowing his radio still on.."Man that would make for great covrage, and we would sell more beer."

Hmmm..WWE...

The only thing that I felt was wrong in all of this. Was the fact that Smoke couldn't take part of his crew with him. But then again for things to have worked out the way that they did. There had to be some give and take from both parties.

That being said things can work if there's communication going on from top t bottom at the new entity of Stewart/Haas Racing. It's not as if he's no business acumen whatsoever. If they put a good plan together there's no reason to believe that he can't be successful and also he's proven quantity and commodity. Unlike some of the other owner drivers.
