As requested by Chillicothe’s finest, the Prime Minister will conduct a lesson regarding the stink-stank-stunk for all things LSU. First I must offer this disclaimer to my family:
Please forgive me for the thrashing that I am about to impose upon the LSU nation and understand that it is necessary for me to defend THE Ohio State Buckeyes. I would also like assurances that I will not be harmed during any get togethers that may occur when I arrive in Louisiana on January 5th. Best wishes to all my faithful LSU family members, especially my cousin Buddy who actually attended LSU before he was dismissed for bringing his pet possum to class.
Ok, now onto the task at hand.
Much fuss has been made about the Buckeyes record in bowl games versus the SEC, their overall record versus the SEC, and guilty by association because they belong to the Big Ten conference which is inferior overall to the mighty SEC.
I will address that pile of steaming warthog #### in another post. This post belongs to the Bayou Bengals and their loyal, although misled, fanbase. For those of you who are helping out with some comments on behalf of the Buckeyes or Tigers because your own teams are not playing for a title this year….Haaa-Ha (in my best Nelson voice).
Let’s begin with the name. What is in a name? People seem intrigued, amused, confounded, or even down right disgusted by the name "Buckeye". However, what the name "Buckeye" does represent within the CFB landscape is something unique. Holy ####, what a concept!! What were the trustees thinking back in the day when they came up with Buckeyes?? They should have came up with something more original. I don’t know…like maybe…the Tigers?? Nobody else would think of that one for sure……..
Oh wait it’s the Bayou Bengals. Hey that is original.What ever, it’s the Tigers and 27 other college teams in this country claim the Tiger as their mascot. Nice job. Why not the Gator? The whole lower half of La. is basically a swamp? Oh of course! The REAL champions of the SEC already claim the Gator as their own. You can’t imitate their success on the field, so why copycat their mascot? Right? ####, there are two teams in your own conference with that name. Original just like your coach.
Oh yeah the coach. The same coach that Tressel out coached in a bowl game three years ago with a freshman wide receiver playing half the game at QB? Yeah that’s the guy. Les "Peqeuno Sombrero" Miles. The guy who can’t remember who he talks to or what down it is half the time. Ohhhhh, I’m scared. I bet Tressel smoked a big fatty when he found out Miles was staying. Another Michigan chump to toast on a national stage. I smell something stinky boys and girls, and it ain’t your granny’s gumbo. It is the Les Miles game plan. LSU fans should be glad Pellini is leaving after the bowl game. Hell maybe the Tigers D can hold somebody under 500 yards for once. I hope my favorite NFL team doesn’t get any of those guys on draft day. That giant groan you hear on January 7th around 11:00PM CST will be the entire LSU nation realizing that the guy who just got waxed by a team from the Big Ten is staying in Baton Rouge for the foreseeable future. Nice job.
What does the state of Louisiana have to offer the rest of the country….nothing. Next! Ok, ok, there has to be something? Well the French Quarter is a blast! As long as you don’t get robbed or catch a venereal disease, it is g-o-o-d t-i-m-e-s. Hopefully you catch something that is at least curable, and doesn’t itch too much. Of course the Cajuns are very friendly and will show you much love and affection…as long as you are related to them and can bite the head off a swamp bat in one bite. Mmmmmmmmmm, please pass the swamp rat stew and pour me another glass of raccoon ####. Exquisite!!

The game will be played in their own backyard

As you can plainly see, I don’t need funny pictures downloaded from other web-sites or regurgitated definitions from Wikipedia to make my point. The bottom line is that LSU and their overrated, media-darling defense will get shredded by Beanie Wells and Gholston will spend more time in the LSU backfield than Hester himself. The boys are wearing their Scarlet and coming to play, so shut your pie holes and get the F%@& out the way!
Pete, very funny, and I know this was all in fun and was done with good taste. I just want to say a few things. Not all Louisianians are Cajun. Also the pic is not showing. Either way goodluck to the ####keyes.
P.S. did you here about your CB'S being suspended? is it true or rumor?

My mom is from Shreveport, my uncle lives down of the gulf coast (can't remember the town's name because he just moved there last year), and my cousins all still live in Slidell. I am very familiar with La. New Orleans is an awesome place. I was just there (and @ LSU) last October for a conference. My wife just informed me over the weekend that we are going to the game! See you there! And yes, they were suspended.

Sucks about Washington and Clifford, but they are the Buckeyes. My guess is we see alot of Gant at safety and Jenkins stays at corner instead of sliding to FS in the nickel and dime packages. Chekwa gets the starting nod at CB spot.

OSU fans...the job of stopping the LSU passing attack just got eminently tougher.
OSU announced that Donald Washington (starting CB) and Eugene Clifford (his backup) were suspended for violating team rules. Washington is expected to be replaced by redshirt freshman Chimdi Chekwa

I heard a rumor earlier today that they were arrested for marijuana possession, but I want to refute it here. IT IS NOT TRUE.
The OSU AD said the violations didn't involve legal issues.
More than likely it had to do with something in the classroom or some shenanigan they pulled on campus.
Good kids, who just made a mistake.
Let's not go acusing college kids of illegal activity without real facts...have we learned nothing from the Duke Lacrosse team tragedy last year?
...I especially like the disclaimer. It reminded me of when I lived in Louisiana, and the punishment for bringing a baby alligator to school was 3-days of after school detention.

NICE WORK PETE! As for Gholston, I believe that when Tressel and Miles shake hands at mid-field, before the game, they will agree that Gholston will simply line-up as fullback in the LSU backfield. It will save time, and much unneeded hurt feelings for the offensive tackles of LSU.

georgia did not deserve to be the 2 seed because they didnt even win their own division much less the SEC so it may not be a rule in BCS but i think it was shown by the voting, no conference champ, no NC game, which is a good thing because if you cant even win your conference how can you claim to be national champs
and the whole Gholston thing personally i dont think he gets a hand on Flynn or Perilloux all night, if he does ill be surprised

Even if LSU does win the game, this will definitely occur. No doubt (Gholston will have a sack or two).

I grew up in Baton Rouge just a hop skip and a jump away from LSU campus, the town is a #### hole. However, some of the most interesting people I have ever seen came from Nawlins. There is more culture in the city of New Orleans than there is in the entire state of Ohio. You'd better put your party hat on both heads friend cause your in for a hell of a time!

The SEC went in nonconference play went 40-8 to lead the country in nonconference with a winning percentage of 83.3.
The Big Ten went 35-9 with79.5 percentagefor nonconference games.Last yr. TheSEC met 3 times agaisnt the big ten in Bowl play. The big ten won 2-1. So much for the super conference the Sec has. Ha Ha. One more thing, The SEC teams only played five nonconferencegames against end of season top 25 BCS bowl teams and was 1-4. So much for the BIG BAD SEC. HA HA HA. See you in Jan. Hey...I was born and raised and live in Columbus, also...I was just in Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana all last weekend.
One thing that I found out...While it may get in the 60's and 70's during the day, it gets down to the 20's at night...Therefore, their windshields get frosted over...I talked to about 30 folks in the mornings I was there because I noticed they didn't scrape their windshields. NOBODY DID. They all let their vehicle run for about 15 minutes and heat up so the defroster would do it. Different way of life down there… I asked and none of the folks I talked to even OWNED an ice scraper.
Two points from this observation:
1. Get an ice scraper - save some gas. The demand is causing and will continue to cause the prices to escalate. Lazy reasons to waste gas are PART OF THE PROBLEM.
2. Bring some of these BOWLS up North and play some real football in the cold. Ya'll want the Northern teams to travel to the sunny climates and then rave about how we can't win in the BOWLS. How ‘bout some of those BOWLS move to New York, Chicago, or even Columbus. YES! Have everyone fly into PORT COLUMBUS and play a major BOWL in the SHOE!
Does anybody know what the buckeye players were suspended for ? If I had to guess it would be for taking Glen Dorseys lunch money from him or something of that nature just to even things up a bit.
bull ####. the buckeyes will get flattened AGAIN. everyone will once again see how overrated they and the big ten are. lsu is way too fast for them. the problem with the big ten is that they are built for power, but speed beats power 99% of the time, and thats why big ten teams get their butts kicked in all the bowl games.
I do not like how people up north want to talk bad about the southern people. I have lived in the south all my 65 years and wouldn't want to live anywhere else. I was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, and I still reside there today. I work for, root for, and defend the Scarlet and Gray. I love all things Buckeye and most things Big Ten. However, I am not above rationality when it comes to sports and would never be a complete "homer" who has no disregard for other opinions and/or viewpoints regardless of the topic....oh who am I kidding, unless you love the Buckeyes you don't count!!!
