I like the picks for the most part, save for a the Vikings and well, the Texans. The Packers and Steelers are always tough at home, though I will say your Texans have a much better shot at an upset than the Vikes.
I know that most people will disagree w/ my Texans over the Steelers pick, but I really like the way the Texans are shaping up this year. It all depends on the running game. Haha! We will see.......
Senor Perez, I know we have sparred in the past regarding Lakers-Rockets, but I gotta say your football assertions seem to be to my liking!
Even though your partisanship favors your team, I'm not sure about your pick. But I will say that I believe that the Texans could possibly land a wild-card this year. I have also shared this thought with Reecey.
I actually like Sage Rosenfels as a starter over Matt Schaub, but HC Kubiak knows more than I do. Just thought Sage did a great job last year when Schaub went down. Buena suerte
P REZ...I LIKE YOUR PICKS BUT, NOT ALL OF THEM.
I LIKE TAMPA BAY over NEW ORLEANS
GREEN BAY over MINNESOTA
SAN FRANSICO over ARIZONA
CLEVELAND over DALLAS---{{{COWBOYS SUCK}}}
AND HELL YEAH TEXANS over STEELERS!!!
GINTZ...SAGE ROSENFELS SHOULD BE THE MAN! I FEEL THAT HE WILL GET A CHANCE TO START SOMETIME THIS SEASON.IF KUBIAK NOWS BEST,HE SHOULD BE TAKING A LOOK AT LITO SHEPPARD.WORD IS HE'S NOT SO HAPPY IN PHILLY AND WE COULD USE ANOTHER CORNER BACK. OUR SECONDARY IS WEAK.
"GO TEXANS!!!"

Good picks. I think the Giants and Redskins game could go either way. Especially if the Giants are not able to slow down Portis, and Washington's QB shows up.
Gintzfan- Sage is good, but I perfer him as a back-up. I know he has proven himself in the past, but.....Matt has a considerable size difference and can look over a defensive front line better than Sage.
Guerra 13- Browns over the Cowboys? As much as I dislike the Cowboys, the Browns are going down.
KW starting for Arizona is going to pick SF apart.
The others could go either way! Thanks for the comment.....
across the board they look good .. gawd knows im not going to pick against MY team. However I see what may be an overall flaw: Looks to me that you have way to many road teams winning ... I know, I'm jus saying the statistical inference would suggest moving a couple of those "solid" picks on the road to a road loss .. which ones .. as they say "pick-em" ... please jus don't drop any Karma on the Hawks
C Hawkz76- I see your point. I don't know if "home field advantage" means that much on the first week of season.(I know I'll get a lot of wtf? about that statment) But I think most teams will still be trying to find their identities and rhythms this first week. So upsets are going to happen. Hence......my picks. Thanks for stopping by.
Hello all, my name is P_REZ. I have always been involved in sports. From playing, to coaching, to watching, and betting. I am a native Houstonian. Which means I take Houston sports very seriously! The Astro's, Rocket's, and Texan's (Oiler's) are my favorite Teams! I don't always agree with some of the moves they tend to make (via trades, play calling, moving a franchise) but I do support them. Make no mistake about that! I think I am pretty knowledgeable when it comes to sports. I have written a few blog's and will be writting a lot more in the future (or at least when I think certain things need to be addressed) I'll let you be the judge. So feel free to post a comment on my blog's and let me know what you think. Thanks! T/C until next time......... ..........PEA CE!
