BUT THE CASE WITH NASCAR IS THEY CLOSE TRACKS LIKE ROCKINGHAM, AND TAKE RACES FROM DARLINGTON, AND ON AND ON TO EXPAND TO MEXICO OR WHEREVER, WELL WHAT OF THE LOYAL FANS WHO HAVE SUPPORTED THE SPORT FOR YEARS?

This is the first time I have replied to a post, normally I just enjoy reading all the great stuff.
Just something on the statement "to expand to Mexico or wherever".
Well I am Canadian and I assume that is what you ment by wherever. I agree that Nascar is selling out and moving away from its loyal fan base but in its attitude and marketing. Fans can live anywhere and I have whatched Nascar and have been a huge fan my whole live up here in Canada.
I loved it when they finnaly brought a race up here. What I hate the the hollywood styling and celeberty marketing that has gone on in the last few years.
Nascar started in the south, from shine runners and good hard working everyday people just wanting to show off their cars. It expanded out over the years to other locations but it still stayed true to its roots of the everyday guy and his car.
The last 10 years it has went the way of everything that becomes big buisness. The idea that it dosen't matter where we came from only where are we heading and how much money can we make.
So I guess what I am saying is that location isn't so much the roots of Nascar its just the average ordinary person who loves to watch cars go fast, no matter where they live.
Now we are gettin inot politics. OK. China and Russia taking over our economy and becoming a super power?
If that happens you can thank your duely elected politicians. What has really happened is the certain political offices have funded many American companys to move their operations to other less privlegded countries for lower wages. Naturally the American companies jumped at the chance and be funded by our government too.Can you blame them? There goes the American work force.
I usually will not buy a product that is American owned but made it the far eastern countries.
Now I will buy a product that is foreign owned but made by American Workers in America.
You really need to look at the political partys that voted on allowing American companies to move off shore, allow open borders to illegal immigrants, and provide them will all the we have to offer for free and not work a day. Then refuse aid and assistance to the American Citizens in need.
we are being sold out not by our citizens buying habits but by our political leaders in certain parties.
Read your history then make a wise decision in your voting.
