What can I say being a basketball fan last night was the best. And having nba league pass was even better.

I started off the night switching back and forth from the sea/orl match up and the tor/phi game with a lil bit of utah/nj (I just couldn’t get into that game for some reason)

Sea looks as if there on there way for a victory until turk caches the ball in the corner of the left baseline takes a step back and at the buzzer drains a deep 2 pointer to seal the victory with rashard lewis draped all over him.

I was like damn what a shot, and thinking sea just dropped back to back winnable games, those are the worst.

I flip back to the phi game to see how dalembeast is doing and damn when this kid wants to play and mo cheeks lets him play the kid is a monster. Well im thinking philly has this game when I see bosh drain a 3 like he was bird game over another buzzer beater.

Damn 2 buzzer beaters in one night, I must admit im getting real pumped up to watch my knicks at 9. but there are a few other games on at the moment im flipping all over the place and realize the suns/spurs are on espn. But then I realize boston is up against the bobcats and its pretty close so ill tune in. ryan gomes has a triple double? Whoa, well game is tied 6 seconds to go and the bobcats with the ball. Who will take the shot morrison? Will they give it to crash to go to the rim? No brevin "I don’t have a j" knight decides to put up an 18 footer straight away and ………..CLANK, overtime. Ok im not in the mood to watch this overtime so I switch back to the spurs/suns game.

Ok back to the celtics game, I remember reading how pierce and doc were guarantying a big game out of west, well he is 2-9, im not impressed. Cant recall the time left but its under 24 sec bos has the ball. And im thinking pierce has this. Holds the ball penetrates in the lane it seems as if all 5 bobcats have dropped down in the paint with him pierce dishes it out nothing but net. West ends the night 3-10. I guess a game winner is better then a huge night. Just noticed pierce had a nice triple double as well ummmmm dose 12 TO count?

This is sick 3 buzzer beaters in one night im loving it, I know it cant get no better then this, and the fact the knicks are already down by ten in the first hasn’t even hit me yet.

Know I switch my attention to the suns spurs battle what a game, TD is hitting bank shot after bank shot the suns are doomed. Raja just drains a 3 with 7 seconds left and are down by 1. they foul duncan. And he misses 2 free throws wow, not clutch. Suns for the game, bell to the lane but he gets fouled by that oberto guy. Bell gets fouled and im thinking it’s a wrap, hits the first misses the second, lol. Overtime. No buzzer beater but the spurs win, another great game.

Oh well guess its time for me to watch my lowly knicks get embarrassed on the road. There hanging around if you call 12 points down hanging around.

Back to the game crawford is a very streaky player and when he is on he is on, damn it he just missed a 3 to tie the game, lol

Knicks and den tied 28 sec to go everybody and there mama know crawford is gonna take the shot, he is trying to brake the whole nuggets team and turns the ball over……..but crawford knocks down an outlet pass 1 second after turning it over  to a wide open melo and drains a fall away 3 all in one subtle motion!!!!!!!!!!!

Crazy man knicks up 3 melo gets fouled on purpose before he can shoot the 3. he hits the first one and has to miss the second one on purpose. Melo puts up a perfect missed free throw jr smith comes flying out of nowhere on the lft baseline puts it up and the ball hits the back  of the rim………………………

Damn what a night in the nba.

well its tip off time for the knicks, and for some reason i am not as excited as i was around noon. i guess the realization that this is the same knicks team that was the laughingstock of the league a year ago is the one that i will be cheering on this year. but honestly i feel good about this one for some sick reason. paul gasol wont be playing so we have a good chance.
 
well the knicks are down 17-7 and im getting that same feeling i had watching these guys last year.
 
as i flip thru other games on the league pass i watch gerald "crash" wallace get sent to the floor by granger. lol, sorry to say but i know he will be out the rest of the game.
 
did the magic get the memo or watch what the bulls did to the heat last night? don't they know there not suppose to be blowing out the "best defensive team" in the league. grant hill looks good, how many games till he goes down? lol.
 
back to the knicks, oh oh they are actually trying to make it a game down 27-24. marbury and francis look like #### in the early going but Q is looking good. hopefully memphis continues not to have anybody within 8 feet of him while he drains 3's.

yo im pissed i watched this game as the start of the 3rd overtime begins and watching crawford miss like 15 shots in a row(at least thats what it seems like) im getting tired and at this point im saying just frigging lose already so i can go to bed. the knicks are giving memphis all the opportunities in the world to win but they don't want it for some crazy reason.

I am an avid sports fan that got addicted to this fantasy sports world, so ill spread some insight to you newbie's.

 

first things first im not a blogger so if there are words mispelled or ongoing sentences that need some type of puncuation marks forgive me but i dont care. my first time doing something like this hope i dont get too long winded.

 Say you draft darko milicic. And darko goes for 20 points, 4 assists, 9 rebounds and 4 blks against the pistons. Well, those 20 points he scores not only count for the magic, they also count for you.  The appeal is that by either “owning” or competing against every significant player in the NBA, every single game has interest to you. so go out and buy the NBA league pass cause it will be your best friend, just make sure the wifey or gf understand cause this can get very addictive. at times i find myself watching the games with my computer right by my side.

these are the normal cats which i think HG will use if not then ask him before the draft occurs to make sure you draft accordingly

we will be playing In head-to-head leagues, you’re going to play a different owner every week. You only need to outscore your opponent the week you play them.  so basically you want to be leading in every cat except turnovers. if you lose the first week (which is mon-sun) don't sweat it you face another opponent the next week so on and so on.

 

 

  all depending on how big our leagues are this will be the positions

  if less then 14 teams we will most likely add another pg and center position. but from the response we got the league will be deep hopefully not 20 cause then you will be picking up cats like damon jones, or is that amon ones, lol. 

me personally I like to draft players I like rooting for, but at the same time will win me the league. so don't be a total homer and pick up your teams starting 5 unless your a suns fan, lol. do your homework if you want to be successful in your draft. leagues are not won in the first 3-5 rounds that's the easy part....hmmmm kobe or marion it doesn't matter they both will do good, you need to worry about if you drafted the likes of shaq but worried about his ft% killing you you better get a nash or billups type player to help try and save you in that cat. you will need to pay attention to who is a teams 6th man or a sleeper pick that you can get in the 11th round that partner up with kobe and win you the league. 

basically your the GM of your team, if someone on your squad isn't performing up to your standards trade em or drop em for someone who is on the waiver wire. the number one rule I abide by is NEVER DROP A PLAYER BEFORE TRYING TO TRADE HIM, you never know what you might get in return, might be better then that waiver wire pick up.
