TNT awsome. Fans with cans Stink.
Jul 06, 2008 | 4:40PM | report this

TNT did a great coverage o####REAT race. The race and comercials together, wow loved it. I dont care if we have to watch Coke Zero over and over. As long as we still see the race. Man FOX I hope you took notes. That will boost coverage.

To see that side by side, beating and ban ging was great. If you have anything bad to say about the race...You were not watching what I watched. The COT stopped one car wrecks becoming huge wrecks. Yea we had one at the end, but that was part of the end of guys close fighting.

Now you "Fans" that threw cans. You need to really do a fan check. You say that you are "fans". How is it a "fan" trys to hit a race car with cans? How is it some from way up in the stands hit real FANS in the lower stands. Brings me back to Dega when a cooler hit the flagman in the back of the head. That was by a "fan".

So if you throw something and it hits someone on the stands, is that an accident? No. It is not. Its would be an attack. If more than one are throwing, I would call it a "Gang" attack. That could get you up to five years in jail. Do you ever think of that. Remember if that can or bottle has your prints on it. Also the blood from the Head, kneck, or other body part you have hit. You could get caught.

Now If I am a judge that gets that case. I will "throw" the book at you. I would make sure you get the max sentence. Also I would make sure that if you ever even set foot on a gokart track you will go back to jail.

Its thanks to fans like you I will not take Noah to a race and let him flag for the Sprint Cup series. You see we sit at the Flagstand. He has his flags. If Kyle were to win, you would throw things. So I just want to say thankyou for making the choice easy. I wont go to Cupraces. I cant imagine what I would do if you "fans" threw something at the track and it hit Noah. My nine yearold son.

 You "fans" think about it.....

Rain Hampshire A surprising top 10
Jun 29, 2008 | 2:53PM | report this

1st Kurt "Rainman" Busch. He and his team made the right call. Congrats.

2nd Michael "Am I on the leadlap" Waltrip. Pinch me. I am second.

3rd J.J. "I still have a ride" Yeley. Wow. Thankyou Rainman Busch.

4th Martin " I am leaving DEI" Truexx. Bout time as good of driver he is he gets the results.

5th Elliott " Ray this is for you" Sadler. Told you we have top five cars.

6th Reed "I hit the Target" Sorenson. Well I didn't take anyone out to get the finish. Juan...

7th Casey "I need a ride" Mears. Later Rick, I will get a ride.

8th Denny "I know I belong here" Hamlin. Finished ok despite a poor day.

9th Jimmie " I shoulda won" Johnson. Finish doesn't say how good he ran.

10th Bobby "For you King" Labonte. Hey the King is the King.

23rd Dale "Jamie I hope you didn't plan on me helping you get a ride" Earnhardt Jr. Hey he was pitting and Jamie was looking ahead. Oh wait he should have saw the car right in front of him.

24th Kyle " I hate Jaun" Busch. "Nascar needs to look at the wreck" What a controled interview for the most out of control person. Hats off to Kyle for holding tounge.

25th Juan "I will spin ya" Montoya. He took matters into his own hands. Enough said.

Tony Stewart finished 13th with the best car. The weather played a factor. Jeff Gordon looked about the best he has this year as well. Again the weather stepped in.

That being said. Every team had access to the radar. They all new the big storm was moving quick. I know the broadcasters talked about it. So Penske and the #2 team made the right call today. Great job for a bad year. Congrats Kurt.

Now on to the night race at Daytona. Lets go rainless racing.

I will add to the Silly of the season
Jun 29, 2008 | 10:40AM | report this

Ok first is Tony "Smoke" Stewart. He is a hell of -a guy. He was like a kid in a candy store the night of the Dream at Eldora. You saw the love when he dedicated the statue of Mr. & Mrs. BaltesS7300109.jpg Tony dedicating the Baltes statue image by noahspop_2008 That saturday night he was happy.

Now for his future. I think him and Dale Jr. will buy out the Hass team. It will be at least a two car team. Tony and Truexx Jr. driving.

Ryan Newman I dont see leaving Penske. I think Penske will try to give him what he wants.

Mark Martin..Hendrick? Kinda makes me think two things. Either he gets a part time ride with one or two young guys getting in a sharing. Or one last shot at the cup. Either way Hendrick will ask Mark for something, and give Mark what ever he wishes.

So What about Jamie McMurray? I have no idea. He will do good who ever picks him up. If Newman leaves the #12 that would be my first guess. But also we have RCR.

The 4th RCR car. Mears? Newman? McMurray?  There are alot of good drivers looking for rides. I know alot of people saw Tony there. I dont think it would make him happy. Time will see who  gets it.

I also just heard Menard might get out of DEI. If so to were? Also more on DEI. If Truexx is out. Also Martin out. And Menard leaves. Who will be left that has real seat time? This will either be a young driver team, or a flop of-a great shop.

With the talk of DEI falling. I dont know how true but maybe. Could that open up another big Garage sale? Would Smoke and Jr. look in to it? How ironic would it be if Dale Jr., who left DEI, buys DEI out. Who would the sponsors be? With the size of Jr. Nation they would pound on his door.

Jr. is truely his fathers son. I am not a fan, but respect the names. His father was one of the best ever of are sport. Jr. has his fathers smarts. He knows what it takes to be at the top of his game. He will do what it takes to one, win a championship. Two, get a team together that will be at the top of its game. Three, if he could take that team, would he?

This will be intersting to watch.

You also have to figure smaller teams in the mix. RedBull with Vickers success and A.J. not making races. Changes there. I se a seat maybe for Scott Speed. He won in the trucks. He is good. That good though, only time will tell.

I kow I am missin alot. So if you would like add some. I hope this sillyness turns to gold for some looking for rides. I just am going to sit back, eat bratts, drink a little beer. And enjoy the ride.

My chase predictions..Still fighting for 12th
Jun 25, 2008 | 2:49AM | report this

Ok. Its not that I think I know it all. Just going by the way drivers are at the present.

 1. Kyle "Shrub" Busch #18 easy pick.

 2. Jeff Burton #31 Suttle but like Mark Martin there when it counts.

 3. June Bug #88 he is doing what needs to be done with good cars that dont break...

 4. Carl "Flipper" Edwards #99 The guy is getting all his ducks in a row. He has been winning.

 5. Jeff Gordon #24 I hope the #24 team can hold it together and be willing to take a chance at a win or two.

 6. Greg Biffle #16 The guy is proving he is the right choice for the "Cat in th Hat"

 7. Clint "JackMan" Boyer #07 Yea he is bring the Ohh#7 back in the fight.

 8. Tony "Smoke" Stewart He wants to leave gibbs on great turms. He will win before the chace.

 9. J.J. #48 why so far back. I think him and Chad will stumble in the heat of the summer.

 10. Matt "The Brat" Kenseth #17. I dont know he has a championship car and team this year. But looks like with Robbie gone they are getting it together.

 11. Brian "I know he aint there yet" Vickers. He would be here if at Charlottoe he wouldn't have lost that tire. He is having a career year. He will give RedBull its first win soon.

 12. Its a toss up. Kahne#9 I know he was hot. He cooled quick. Hamlin #11 stumblin over his own two feet. Harvick #29 If he would stop trying to come from 5th or 6th to win a race that is to far out of reach. These three cars and teams will be fighting it out at Richmond.

It will be a good race. I will not predict who will get it. Only the team and driver that step up to the plate and hit it out of here will make 12th. I know I will enjoy watching the races to get there. I hope you enjoy it as much as Noah and I.

Thankyou flagmen & women from the weekend in Milwaukee.
Jun 22, 2008 | 11:51PM | report this

Lets start from friday afternoon. Bryon & Kim are the flagman & women for the Craftsman truck series. The two of them took time before qualifing and the race to chat with Noah. He had his flags and was flagging with them from the front row of the stands near the flagstand. Bryon and Kim made Noah feel like the King of Flagging. Bryon says he will make sure Noah gets an official Craftsman truck series shirt at the end of the year. Wow how awsome is that. Kim found it cool to have someone look up to her. She seemed to be as into talking to Noah as he was to her. It is her first full season in the stand. She said she loves it.

Now lets go to saturday. The afternoon started with the USST. United States Super Truck series. The flagmen where Tim and assistant Jim. They work for the Milwaukee mile. Anyway Noah was flagging like usual for practive. When I saw Tim get a call over the radio at the end of practice. He looked at Jim and they both pointed at Noah. Well shortly after practice was over, the two of them climed down from the stand and came over to Noah. They asked if he would like to come up to the falgstand for qualifing. Wow is all I could say. So Noah and I, yes I got to go along. Went to the flagstand and climbed up. When the first truck came down to get the white flag, only one lap for qualifing, I had goosebumps all over. The look and smile on Noahs face. Well I couldnt have made him any happier ever in his life. We got to stay up there for every truck. 17 of 18 trucks qualified. And for 17 trucks Noah never stoped smiling. Thankyou again Tim & Jim. Also thankyou Milwaukee Mile, who ever made the call down to allow Noah up there thankyou from the bottom of my heart.

Now lets get to the just before qualifing for the Nationwide cars Keith flags for the Nationwide series. He remembered Noah from last year. He came over and talked to him a while. Then after Qualifing and before the race, came and gave Noah and official Nationwide series cap. He autographed it and gave it to Noah. Thankyou Bryon. That was just iceing on the cake. Thankyou all from Milwuakee this past weekend.

Also thankyou Kim on saturday she worked in the pits. She saw Noah and from the pits pointed out to her friend she was working with and waved to Noah. Thankyou all very much for making this weekend the best possible for my son Noah and I. I could not have drawn up a better weekend.

Ok From the biggest anti Jr fan.
Jun 17, 2008 | 3:06PM | report this

I did rant to much. Jr. Did what he needed to do to win. The man is good. I will give him that. The #88 team is doing better in the COT than the Champs from Hendrick. My biggest driver Jeff GOrdon is fighting to finish on the lead lap.

I hated when Hendrick got rid of Kyle for Jr. Kyle is a KID with alot of tallent. I like that. When you go back to Richmond it looked like to kids fighting for first at any dirt track. That was racing. I dint want that wreck to happen. But I did like the fact they both went harder for it. And they both lost. Bet they would do it again if they had the chance.

That is good racing. Kyle is doing it his way. Kinda like Sr. in his first half of his career. Jr. does it his way. Kinda like Hendricks call and collective drivers. No Kyle didn't fir the Hendrick style. Jr. does. That still wont make me a fan of his. Yet he did what he had to.

Nascar has done that alot with the passing shutting off and coasting. My fav. Guy Jeff got it back in Dega years ago. Thankyou frevr3 for reminding me. Nascar has done that alot. I wonder if the rule after this will be in Black n White? Or will they leave it grey as it is?

Again I am sorry for my rant. This weekend will be a good one. Noah and I will be in Milwaukee for the trucks and Nationwide cars. Then we will be home to enjoy the race in Cali. Were the drivers will turn Right as well as left.

Be sure to watch and see if you see Noah he as always will be near the flagstand flagging. And thankyou Frevr3 for reminding me of what has been for a while.

ALSO one last time..(And it hurts) congadultions to Dale Jr. and the #88 team.

My fathersday gift from Noah
Jun 14, 2008 | 1:34PM | report this

Hey Noah really loves me. Today he gave me my fathersday gift. I thought I should share. He got him and I two tickets to the Craftsman truck race next friday at the Milwaukee mile. We are going to be  there for the weekend.

As always up there and any track. We are sitting near the flagstand. Noah will have his flags. I hope if you watch the friday night race or the saturday night Nationwide race you get to see my son. If you do you will see his love and passion for this sport.

I am so blessed. I could not have ever asked for a better son. Noah is the greatest kid I know. Not to mention he is an awsome flagman. Give him another 9 years and he might just be on a flagstand near you. Thankyou for sharing my awsome fathers day weekend.

Happy Fathers Day to all the dads out there. Fatherhood is the greatest blessing I have in my life and I hope you enjoy it the same as I do.

Kyle vs Jr. with 14 down and 22 to go.
Jun 13, 2008 | 1:25AM | report this

Well Kyle in the stats is kicking the rubber off Jrs. car. We have 14 races down and 22 to go. It is fun as an anti Earnhardt fan. "Still hate he is at Hendrick"..LOL..It is kinda fun to watch. What the black sheep from Hendricks camp is doing. I am enjoying this.

 Ok lets break it down.

Kyle has 4 wins. Jr has.......O wins..Hmm Kyle is winning here.

 Ok lets do top fives.

Kyle has 9 top fives..wow nine in 14 races.  Jr. has 6. Not to shabby there.

 Ok top tens 6th-10th.

Kyle 1. Well 9 others are top fives...ok what about Jr. 3. well that puts them almost even with total top 10s. So Jr. isnt doing to bad.

Now Kyle also has the worst finish of 43. Jr has 40th. So Jr. is better there.

They are also even with outside the top 20 2 A piece.

So I guess they are not to far apart on the year. Other than the 4 wins.

Jr. has to be happy with just  not blowing up. And Kyle he is on top of the world.

Oh wait another stat. Kyle has won in all 3 big series this year...How many has Jr. got..Hmm.O again. Ok Ok.. I will stop picking. Jr. is doing better than last year.

Kyle on the other hand. Well he is Kicking #### and taking names. This is a fun thing to watch. Cant wait till Kyle wins in Chevy,Dodge, and Fords back yard...Though I am still a Chevy man...And hope Jeff Gordon pulls out the victory. It is a great year..

DREAM Scott Bloomquist..
Jun 09, 2008 | 12:13AM | report this

Yea Noah and I made it back. Weather was bad. Racing was great. We are both tired. But now that I am back at work I can have a bit of time to update.

Saturday night at ELDORA. The DREAM won by Scott Bloomquist. He drove a great car. He was awsome. I guess from the Prelude we knew he had great cars. Robby Gordon took Scotts back up car to a second place finish to Tony. Anyway. Scott took the lead around 30 or so laps in and never looked back. He went in and out of traffic like a knife threw butter. He showed why this was his fifth win of the Dream. He was a class act.

When Noah and I got to meet Scott last year in Knoxville Iowa he was a great guy. He took the time for photos with him and Noah. He seemed to enjoy the fans. I am sure it was that way in victory lane.

Anoth great finish came from Brian Birkhofer. Brian won the B main. That put him in 21st to start the a main. He like Scott had a great car. It took him a while to get through traffic. He made it up to the back of Scotts car. Near the end on restarts he could see the back of Scott. The only time he got close is when the two of them were in lap traffic. Brian didn't have the car to win, yet he got second from winning the b main. Great run. Remember the b main was 20 laps. Brian had under 10 minutes to change tires and do a couple adjustments. Then pick his way through 23 other cars. The best of 123 total cars and got second. That was a great race.

Also Tony saturday night showed of the new sculpture of Mr. & Mrs Baltes. It is a life size sculpture. It will be there to great all fans on the way in to the track. That was a great touch. Thankyou Tony for a good racing week. The weather was bad. The racing was great. I will try to get a photo blog this week. Thanks for reading. And again Thankyou Tony Stewart.

Prelude to Tony
Jun 05, 2008 | 2:00PM | report this

The man ran a flawless race. He was high near the wall and looked almost perfect. Even at the restarts nobody could catch him. It was Tonys night. Enough about the race. The thankyou goes like this.

It rained all day. Well before that. on tues night. Tony went through the camp sites telling people to battin down everything. He new a bad storm was coming. Yes Tony Stewart in a golf cart went through some of the camp sites telling people to get ready for the storm.

Now when it came to wensday and the track. It didn't stop raining till around noon. Tony was on the track and working it. He did everything and anything to make it ready for the great race.

The cool shot was when Tony pulled up to the flag stand in the packing truck. The old beat up chevy. Kyle Petty walked down through the crowd and got in. To good old friends working the track and laughing and having fun.

That was what it was all about. What Tony was doing all this for. That was the best moment of the night. Yea TOny won a great race. He even climed the fence. But when him and Kyle were in the truck together, and the smiles they shared. That was what this was about.

I hope they made the million..Oh wait I forgot. Tony said if for some reason they came up short on a million, he was making the diffrence. Yes Tony you were the star of the night. From before the race. Setting the race up. And to top it all off you won the darn thing.

I am glad I am here to see it. If you as a race fan ever get a chance. Come to this track. Eldora. And prepare to get dirty. This place is awsome.

Oh if you had payper view. Noah and I made it on., My friends said they saw us. I cant wait to watch it. But for now we are going to eat, rest and get ready for friday racing at Eldora. They are qualifing friday and raciong mains on saturday for the DREAM...

Again thankyou Tony. Hope to see him back for saturdays race. He said he might be here.

Talk to you all again when I am home. I had to come to Greenville to get HiFi access.

Oh I almost foregot. Great Job Robby Gordon on his latemodel debut. He ran great and finished second..Good job Robby.

Repost of my Kyle prediction from late febuary.
Jun 02, 2008 | 12:29AM | report this

Wow..What a weekend for Shrub..Winning the trucks race. Taking the points lead....Finishing 4th in cup..Giving Toyota its first ever points lead in Cup racing. Maybe only 2 races old but Wow..

Dont forget..Now 40 laps in to the Nationwide series race he is only 10 points out of the lead here. Is Shrub the best of the best? Maybe right now. You know what I see in him? Rember that old black #3 driven by Dale Earnhardt Sr.? Yea rember when he would pass a car high or low? Kyle has that fire in his eye.

Do I think he will take his place? No. Knowone ever will. Did Sr. take the Kings place? No. He made his own mark. But Kyle is outspoken about how he feels about the cars the racing and he like Sr. will tell you what he feels.

My good friend frevr said nascar needs a new spoksman..Is Kyle it? No.. Not yet. But like Kyle his teamate, Tony would make a great nascar spokesman. I dont see him steping up till after this year. After he sees how his future will be and where he drives next year.

Back to Shrub. The kid is everything a driver is to be. He is like Tony. Put him in it and he will drive. It doesnt matter..Four wheels, Helmet and cage. Drop the green and he races. From this weekend proof how well he races...Yes this year my pick started out to be and will be till after Homestead the pick for the championship Kyle Busch..

This is from late febuary I just wanted to see how I picked the Shrub before he won his first race for Yoda.....Thanks for reading..

Dover and the big one.
Jun 01, 2008 | 11:15PM | report this

Wow what a change in points. The wreck moved alot of guys around in the top 12. Ok nobody fell out of the top 12 but here are the changes. Edwards up 2 spots. Biffle up 6 spots wow. Gordon up 4 spots wow. johnson up 2 spots. Bowyer down 3 ouch. Hamlin down 5 ouch. Harvick down 3. Stewart down 3. Kahne stayed in 12th within 27 points of 11th Only 8 points ahead of Ragan.

So whos fault was the wreck? I see a few are blaming David Gilliland. Well that is wrong. How do I know? Well if you got to listen to the race. When they played Sadlers chat between him and his spotter you here from the spotter as they were coming out of two, "Clear low, Clear low" At that time David was under Sadlers car. That is what caused the wreck.

Now about the drivers into the pile up. Alot of fingers pointed at Hamlin for getting in the back of Jr. Ahh. shucks. The track is called self cleaning. The cars slide to the inside most the time. Since there was a pile up, they didnt move as fast. Hamlin should have been on the brakes. Yet so should have Paul Menard. Yet Paul just brushed the inside wall and made it through. He was going harder than Hamlin. Halin just didnt get to the brakes as fast as JR. It was a racing accident.

That early in the race the fast guys in the back wanted to get to the front. They saw a chance to past a bunch early. So stop passing the buck on Hamlin. Also On David Gilliland. The wreck in turn two happend because it is tight there. So Jr. Nation will have to go another week without a victory.

Dover bit some, rewarded others. It was a race of action and green flag runs. It didnt come to fuel milage. And if you still think the Yodas have an advantage look at Rouch. They were faster. Busch had great pitstops all day. Dont take away what Rousch did with 3 cars finishing 2nd 3rd and 4th.

Non for ELDORA.. We will be there. But maybe a change of schedule for Noah and I. We will be at the Prelude, but we might head back and catch the World of Outlaws at Knoxville over the weekend. That is going to be on speed. So watch for my little flagman...He is everywere.

Jeff Gordon
May 31, 2008 | 3:32AM | report this

Well for as bad a year as Jeff has had, he is in the top 10 in points. We are at Dover this week. A track Jeff can run good at as well as he has won here. Is it time to get the monkee off the #24 teams back? Is it time for Jeff to get back to victory circle?

Those are questions I hope as a Gordon fan will be answered in a positive way. From the run he had in practice he looks good. The whole #24 team looks like they are ready to get put of this funk. I know last week with mileage they got a top five with a top 20 car. That might have put a little pep in their step.

Who would have thought after last seasons win fest for Hendrick and there domination with the COT that they would struggle? Or that Jr. would be Hendricks poster boy? I still wonder if Rick is thinking twice about dumping the Shrub? Things to wonder about.

Remember the one Hendrick win by J.J. was a milage race. There has not been a good domination race by Hendricks cars yet. I think thats about to change. This week I predict Jeff Gordon, leading the most laps. He will win the race sunday at Dover. He will be a happy Daddy in victory lane.

J.J. will be close by. He has a top five car. Casey Mears will be a leadlap car all day holding a nice top ten. As for Jr. I am not a fan. So I will not predict anything good or bad for him. I am sure Jr. nation will tell me something about him..LOL..

Also I am getting ready for my treck to Eldora. I am leaving at five am wensday morning. Its a seven hour treck. I cant wait. Again if they have HiFi I will use my laptop to give you a post race update. Also I will let you know about the Dream. It is going to be an awsome week of racing. Wish you could all be there. Watch for Noah flaggin if you get the payper view. We are sitting at the flagstand and Noah will have his flaggs.

Also get the PayPer View on HBO. Tony has set up for the money to go to some great causes. The Victory Junction Camp is the big one. Please help out. As I will Have the race taped on my PayPer View at home. As well as going to the race. Rember its not that much and it is an awsome cause. Be sure to thank Tony Stewart for giving this to us. As well as all the drivers to give there time.

From Noahspop and Noah. Thankyou Tony Stewart.
