24th Kyle " I hate Jaun" Busch. "Nascar needs to look at the wreck" What a controled interview for the most out of control person. Hats off to Kyle for holding tounge.
25th Juan "I will spin ya" Montoya. He took matters into his own hands. Enough said.
Tony Stewart finished 13th with the best car. The weather played a factor. Jeff Gordon looked about the best he has this year as well. Again the weather stepped in.
That being said. Every team had access to the radar. They all new the big storm was moving quick. I know the broadcasters talked about it. So Penske and the #2 team made the right call today. Great job for a bad year. Congrats Kurt.
Now on to the night race at Daytona. Lets go rainless racing.
Welcome to Noahs & Pops 1/4 mile high banked paved fish bowl. Yes tonight we are going to have 2 of nascars best active drivers duke it out with 2 beat up old cars.
First we have Tony Stewart in a 1981 rearwheel drive toyota celica. We painted the rust bucket orange. Tony came in last night though with a chevy 4cylinder motor he pulled out of a chevy cobalt ss. I figured I said no holds bar. I asked Noah if it would be ok. Noah said heck yes as long as he gets to flag. So be it. Tony has a suped up Yoda with a bow tie...
Now we have a 93 dodge shadow front wheel drive. We painted this baby dark blue and slapped a big 2 on the side. Kurt new Tony would be up to something. So he went out and found, "If you Neon R/T 4 is missing its motor I know where it is" a nice neon R/T 4 motor. Again I kinda made up only a couple rules and changing the motor wasn't against the rules.
Ok now its race time. A couple rules. The cars have roll cages and the drivers have fire suits and helmets. We will only stop the race if a car is on fire, flipped, or stopped for 15 seconds. The race is 100 laps ar when only one car is running. The cars will start rear bumper to rear bumper going in opposite directions. We flipped for who goes wich way. Tony will go counter clockwise making left hand turns. While Kurt will go clockwise making righ hand turns. The object is to be the last car running or the first car to 100 laps. Lets go racing.
The race starts and the boys are off. Tony went hard into turn one, While Kurt flew into turn four. As the appraoched eachother on the back strech Tony went outside to the wall and Kurt went inside. Wow they where far apart. Well it went that way for the first couple laps. The cars seemed really even and they kept meeting on the back strech. Then on lap 9 Pow head on. They met on the back strech. Tonys car spun toward the wall. The left front fender bent bably in on the tire. Smoke was pouring out but the car kept moving. Kurts car also bashed pretty good in the front on the left side. His fender was bent up. You could see his left front tire. It was towed out about 20* degrees. Smoke was coking off his tire as well. Kurt was moving as well. They met again on the back strech. This time hitting right fender to right fender. Pow sparks flew I saw a tire bounce into the fence. It was Kurts. Tonys car was spinning his right front fender pinned against his tire. Its so bad his car is going in circles. Kursts car stoped sliding with the left side against the fence. I could here the motor reving but nothing moving. Both cars cant advance.
What a delema. Both cars are done moving. Both are on the same lap. And Noah threw the red. I had to ask Noah who wins. He shrugged his shoulders and called it a tie. So they will have to go back to Daytona and take care of it sunday. Because Kurt is in Duel #1 and Tony in duel #2. They wont see eachother till sunday. Maybe they can play cards and find a winner. But something tells me they wont talk much. Cant wait till Sunday....
Does the guy not get sick of being the little kid in the room and has to blind side a guy. The fact that on more than one occasion he has beat somone on the side of the car after an accident that was preventable by BOTH cars. The fact that in practice there they had fans and media in the pit area as well. To come down and #### the heck out of the side of Tonys car after the accident. It was a racing wreck. Kurt was blocking Tony high and low. I hope Tony passes him tonight and shows him the famed Dale Sr. #1 sign. Kurt really needs to grow up. Tony has a temper and he was fine till Kurt smacked him in the side...The shootout should be fun to watch....Kurt can blow up first lap then the rest will be green flag..lol
Well I am a Father of an awsome 9 yearold junior flaggman. Together we are the biggest racefans. We have an awsome diecast collection and love to get to any races we can. I became a fan with my mother, and now my son with me. I work full time as a machinist, and father. This will be something new and enjoyable, I will also get my sons view and let you no that as well. Well now about the teams and drivers we like. I am a Hendrick fan #24 preferably, and Noah my son Roush and the #17. So last spring was fun when we went to Bristol.
