32-8 at home. 16-20 on the road. Talk about the house the Cubbies built. This year is friggin awsome. To be a diehard Cub fan, and be 20 games over 500. I feel like its a dream. Every player on the team is contributing. If one player is a little off, seems as if two other come on. If a starting pitcher slips, the bull pen fires back. Yea there is a hiccup now and then. Marmol had a bad game. Gave up some runs. But he is one of the best, and proving it.
Now about Ozzie and his RATT fest on WrigleyField. Well Ozzie, I am glad to see the Cubbies feasted on your Ratt coments. Made you pay dearly. The bat was mightier than your mouth. Way to go Cubs. I hope we can come to your hause and keep you quiet. We will see next weekend. Cant wait to visit U.S. Cellular. Heard its a nice fancy house. So I expect clean bathrooms. Beer in clean glasses. Oh and you to shutup and play..Lol..
So the Cubbies are for real. Everyone waiting for the flop. I hope you have good comfortable seats. Its a long way to october. And Wrigley is a good field to watch the world series. At least that what I heard. And hope to expirence. I will sell my left ... to go. Hope to see ya there.
Cubs are rolling, with clutch hitting and solid pitching from start to finish. There stars are shinning, aswell as the little guys in the lineup with big contributions from; Theriot, Hill and rookie sensation Soto. Fukedome has adjusted well to the big leagues, and Dempster comming back to the rotation might get an Allstar nod. When they all get healthy they have a great chance to put that goat curse to bed with the Babe.
About Ozzie's comments about Wrigley. I think his problem stems from the White Sox not being able to fill their own stadium, even after winning the WS in 05. As far as seeing rats at Wrigley, maybe he was looking in a mirror while in the visitors clubhouse! Day after day the Cubs fans fill Wrigley to full capacity.....even standing room is non-existant. And I'm not talking about just this year......every year. I have been to the new Cominsky( cellular-Cingular) whatever, and all around me for at least 1000 fans, in every direction were people guzzling beer and had no idea that the Sox were even on the field. Just a big party. I'm surprised no one was badly injured by a foul ball. On the other hand wrigley fans hang on every pitch, are aware of every move by a player and Mngr.
Ozzie and GM Williams are in high positions in an organization with Deep History and they let their mouths spew trash almost daily. I would refer them to what Yamamoto(not sure of the spelling here) said after the attack on Pearl Harbour, Quote; "I fear that we have awakened a sleeping giant and filled him with a terrible resolve." So go ahead Ozzie and Ken, keep running your mouths, you two are lucky that the Northsiders have as much class as they do. They just wanna have fun right now and boy are they ever! If they ever took exception to your comments to the media.....well, would hate to be a player on your team!

MightyMoe1, how long you been a Cub fan? I was at an opening day not more that 12 years ago and there was maybe 15k in attendance. The Cubs are doing great, no doubt, but they didn't always draw the amount of lemmings as they do now. Enjoy it, savor it, fame and success are fleeting.
Well I am a Father of an awsome 9 yearold junior flaggman. Together we are the biggest racefans. We have an awsome diecast collection and love to get to any races we can. I became a fan with my mother, and now my son with me. I work full time as a machinist, and father. This will be something new and enjoyable, I will also get my sons view and let you no that as well. Well now about the teams and drivers we like. I am a Hendrick fan #24 preferably, and Noah my son Roush and the #17. So last spring was fun when we went to Bristol.
