Well for as bad a year as Jeff has had, he is in the top 10 in points. We are at Dover this week. A track Jeff can run good at as well as he has won here. Is it time to get the monkee off the #24 teams back? Is it time for Jeff to get back to victory circle?
Those are questions I hope as a Gordon fan will be answered in a positive way. From the run he had in practice he looks good. The whole #24 team looks like they are ready to get put of this funk. I know last week with mileage they got a top five with a top 20 car. That might have put a little pep in their step.
Who would have thought after last seasons win fest for Hendrick and there domination with the COT that they would struggle? Or that Jr. would be Hendricks poster boy? I still wonder if Rick is thinking twice about dumping the Shrub? Things to wonder about.
Remember the one Hendrick win by J.J. was a milage race. There has not been a good domination race by Hendricks cars yet. I think thats about to change. This week I predict Jeff Gordon, leading the most laps. He will win the race sunday at Dover. He will be a happy Daddy in victory lane.
J.J. will be close by. He has a top five car. Casey Mears will be a leadlap car all day holding a nice top ten. As for Jr. I am not a fan. So I will not predict anything good or bad for him. I am sure Jr. nation will tell me something about him..LOL..
Also I am getting ready for my treck to Eldora. I am leaving at five am wensday morning. Its a seven hour treck. I cant wait. Again if they have HiFi I will use my laptop to give you a post race update. Also I will let you know about the Dream. It is going to be an awsome week of racing. Wish you could all be there. Watch for Noah flaggin if you get the payper view. We are sitting at the flagstand and Noah will have his flaggs.
Also get the PayPer View on HBO. Tony has set up for the money to go to some great causes. The Victory Junction Camp is the big one. Please help out. As I will Have the race taped on my PayPer View at home. As well as going to the race. Rember its not that much and it is an awsome cause. Be sure to thank Tony Stewart for giving this to us. As well as all the drivers to give there time.
Jeff has positioned himself to be in the chase, but he needs to visit victory lane this season... Maybe his little "discussion" with Kyle Busch put some fire in his belly as that is what I think he needs...
Here's wishing you and Noah a great time on your adventure to Eldora! Here's hoping you have good weather since you'll be camping...
things to wonder about, his new driver has been up front and as you put it the poster boy for Hendricks, Shrub was not up front when he was with hendricks. He wanted out of Hendricks before Jr was up for grabs. So no matter what shrub dose he wanted out and getting Dale Jr in was a no brainer for a driver that wants to leave your shop.
Now have a great time and tell Noah to wave the flags like a pro he is. Cheers
"..last years win fest for Hendrick and there domination with the COT..." Do you think they concentrated on the championship at the end of last year and rested on their laurels with the COT while the compitition knew they had to work to catch up?
Wins have been milage wins for HMS, are they sacrificing HP for milage? Good luck to your guys.
Speaking of #### off his back, did you see that Smoke had to give his to the zoo because it was getting to big? I'm sure you and Noah will have a great time in Eldora. Great father & son adventure!
Jr is a better fit for HMS and shrub a better fit at JGR, I think they both will thrive where they are.
Dwindy...lol, maybe Kyle gave Jeff some advice on how to run up front. I have to kick HMS when they're down, because they won't be down for much longer.
Pop...I'll be looking for you two on TV. Have fun.
Hey, after last year I am glad that Jeff & Jimmie are holding back, this will keep the caterwaul to a minimum. Of course with Jr. Nation, preoccupied with Kyle, and Jeff and Jimmie now team mates a repeat of last year would not have happened. Turn it on Jeff, I love to see the 24 in victory lane. (Sorry, Jimmie)
Pretty sure that HMS is just points racing right now to get in the chase. Then they will turn it on and win over half of the ten chase races.
elad...the #### wasn't getting too big. It was three years old, full grown. Like everybody else who gets an exotic pet, without the right habitat and environment to keep it in, Tony grew tired of it. Good thing he doesn't have children. (X^)>
Well I am a Father of an awsome 9 yearold junior flaggman. Together we are the biggest racefans. We have an awsome diecast collection and love to get to any races we can. I became a fan with my mother, and now my son with me. I work full time as a machinist, and father. This will be something new and enjoyable, I will also get my sons view and let you no that as well. Well now about the teams and drivers we like. I am a Hendrick fan #24 preferably, and Noah my son Roush and the #17. So last spring was fun when we went to Bristol.
