Kyle the Shrub Busch.
Feb 25, 2008 | 2:01PM | report this

Wow..What a weekend for Shrub..Winning the trucks race. Taking the points lead....Finishing 4th in cup..Giving Toyota its first ever points lead in Cup racing. Maybe only 2 races old but Wow..

Dont forget..Now 40 laps in to the Nationwide series race he is only 10 points out of the lead here. Is Shrub the best of the best? Maybe right now. You know what I see in him? Rember that old black #3 driven by Dale Earnhardt Sr.? Yea rember when he would pass a car high or low? Kyle has that fire in his eye.

Do I think he will take his place? No. Knowone ever will. Did Sr. take the Kings place? No. He made his own mark. But Kyle is outspoken about how he feels about the cars the racing and he like Sr. will tell you what he feels.

My good friend frevr said nascar needs a new spoksman..Is Kyle it? No.. Not yet. But like Kyle his teamate, Tony would make a great nascar spokesman. I dont see him steping up till after this year. After he sees how his future will be and where he drives next year.

Back to Shrub. The kid is everything a driver is to be. He is like Tony. Put him in it and he will drive. It doesnt matter..Four wheels, Helmet and cage. Drop the green and he races. From this weekend proof how well he races...Yes this year my pick started out to be and will be till after Homestead the pick for the championship Kyle Busch..

I'd sure not bet against him. He is so much more talented than Kurt and arguably the 4th best driver in Cup right now behind Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson, and Tony Stewart. He has the talent to be a special star for a long, long time and I love watching him race. I even went to the Winchester 400 last year to watch him race with Stremme against the CRA Super Series regulars and they were both awesome although Kyle had a DNF. If not this year, he certainly has championships in his not too distant future.

Rowdy is my favorite, but let's not be crowning him after two races. It's a long season. I'll be satisfied if he smokes Jr most of the time. Which he will do.

Ah Jag..Yes it is early. He was on fire when he got fired from Hendrick. I wonder if the $$$$ is better than the trophy? WOnder if this keeps going will Rick second guess him self...Ahh. what a great sport we love.

Kyle Busch definitely has a lot of talent. It's kind of fun to see all his energy during the interviews for each series. It will be fun to see his career develope in the next few years.

Well I am a Father of an awsome 9 yearold junior flaggman. Together we are the biggest racefans. We have an awsome diecast collection and love to get to any races we can. I became a fan with my mother, and now my son with me. I work full time as a machinist, and father. This will be something new and enjoyable, I will also get my sons view and let you no that as well. Well now about the teams and drivers we like. I am a Hendrick fan #24 preferably, and Noah my son Roush and the #17. So last spring was fun when we went to Bristol.
