Way to go Kyle "Shrub" Busch. He won the trucks, and Busch races. What the heck is Hendrick thinking. #8 in 43 do to his driving. I predict Shrub to win a championship before Jr. Probably a race as well. The kid is awsome. I didnt thinkI was going to be any kind of Yoda fan, but with the Shrub going to Gibbs and Yoda, I will have to be a fan. I will still like 3 out of 4 Hendrick cars. Still cant see myself as an Earnhardt fan. Just doesnt sit well in my gut.
Now looking forward to Homestead. Well the Shrub will be in his last race in the #5 car. Rember back at martinsville, when the orders were for Shrub to back off the #48? Well I hope he rembers he owes the #48. Dont get me wrong here, I am a Hendrick fan minus #88..lol The Shrub should if he has a chance get close to the #48 and make it interesting. I wouldnt say take him out, but make him very aware he is there.
When Shrub was givin the order to back off, he did. Now when #48 got to the back of the #24 he got all into his cookies. So I say what comes around goes around. I wouldnt shed a tear if the #48 went around late in the race. Jimmie pulled a Tony in the race at martinsville. Do as I say, not as I do.
For the Tony fans I made mad there. Rember back in Daytona 2006. He said to drive easier and not get push happy. Then turn around and slam Kenseth.
Ok with that I look forward to homestead. Cant wait till next year and the Shrub showing Hendrick what he gave up. Should be a good show sunday, and then only 91 days later the DAYTONA 500...and back to the FOX covrage......
Yes Kyle was certainly hot this weekend. I think he'll do just as well or better next year at Gibbs racing. He's a very talented young driver, who I'm sure will be a Cup Champion one day.
I cant belive I dont have more Jr. lovers bashin me on this.
Fan of 8 toys and M&Ms..
Clintandjan Back to the minors? Shrub has ben driving evrything and winning..
Gerrel Shrub will be the worse loss for Hendrick. I think Rick looked to hard at padding his pocket book rather than his trophy shelf. I am a #24 fan from years ago, enjoy watchin #48 do well and was treatd to being at the Coke 600 when Casey won his first, but giving up the Shrub for Jr. was a bad mistake for the championship trophy shelf. I hope Gibbs has room. The Shrub I think is going to get the Hardware.
No more Crusty Wallace after Homestead. Jr. at HMS. I hope it goes well for him but he has to deal with the Gordon and Johnson duo and I don't think they are going to give him an inch much less a win.
Kyle has done well lately and when he doesn't crash,he wins a few races or finishes well. Now if some of those wins could have been in the Cup series, who knows. It might have been a tight 3 way battle for the championship.
Kyle will do well where ever he goes! He might be the driver to bring Toyota's to the front and keep them there after MWR slowed them down.Jr. will lower the bar at HMS and bring them back to earth! Don't expect the darling duo to just move aside for Jr. Rick brought him on to move product for the sponsors so HMS can spend more on the champs!
Well I am a Father of an awsome 9 yearold junior flaggman. Together we are the biggest racefans. We have an awsome diecast collection and love to get to any races we can. I became a fan with my mother, and now my son with me. I work full time as a machinist, and father. This will be something new and enjoyable, I will also get my sons view and let you no that as well. Well now about the teams and drivers we like. I am a Hendrick fan #24 preferably, and Noah my son Roush and the #17. So last spring was fun when we went to Bristol.
