Kenseth Smokes 'em at Fontana
Feb 24, 2007 | 10:58PM | report this

Yes indeed, The Nascarfan is back. After a move to the northeast (4 tracks within my reach including Dover) I am ready for the new season. Just look for me in that wonderful Dewalt Jacket and hat.

To all my Texas motor Speedway buddies, I'll send you pics.

So back to Matt. AWESOME. A little payback for Daytona. It never ceases to amaze me how Nascar can invent rules as they go (seeing how the wheel well wasn't covered in their "rule book" until after they suspended Robbie).

Smoke got SMOKED!
Sep 12, 2006 | 3:47PM | report this

As Earl says. Karma, It's a beautiful thing.

Tony reaped what he sowed. When you concentrate on wrecking other drivers, you'll be outside looking in. It's no fun going from champ to chump. Go ahead Smoke fans, convince yourselves it's ok.  We Kenseth fans could see through the Smoke and Mirrors that became so pervasive throughout the season.

Smoke fans - you reaped what you sowed. Come in from the dark side and support real drivers. There is plenty of room in the Rousch fold, and you won't have to feel like losers nor make anymore excuses.

Matt Shows how it's done 3 in a row and how to do it without wrecking someone else
Aug 28, 2006 | 6:50PM | report this

Matt showed everyone how skill wins a race by not taking out other drivers like Fatboy and Crybaby do. I'll say it again. You can win a race with skill and prove that using your car as a battering ram is as dumb as Stewart is.

On another note. This is what Jeff Hammond said today about Matt. "Most people will tell you that as good a guy as Kenseth is and as great a racer as he is, he may not always command the pit paparazzi that Dale Earnhardt Jr., Tony Stewart or Jeff Gordon commands. Kenseth pretty much lets his racing do his talking, but he does have a no-nonsense button that can be pushed. He is a very talented and a very smart race car driver, but I will agree that he doesn't get what he deserves. When you look at his record, he is tied with Jimmie Johnson and Kasey Kahne for the most wins this year. Maybe the number that everybody isn't paying a lot of attention to is his 13 top-five finishes. That's the most in Nextel Cup and three more than Kevin Harvick and Tony Stewart, four more than Jeff Gordon and five more than Kyle Busch and Jimmie Johnson. It's very impressive, and it's the second tiebreaker in points after wins."

Well said Jeff. I'll dare say that all roads to the championship lead through Matt and the #17. Crybaby Gordon fans and Fatboy fans, cry your hearts out.

Why is Tony Stewart So Rude and Why does he punch out NASCAR Officials
Jul 16, 2006 | 10:09PM | report this

Today in New Hampshire, TNT was interviewing Tony (aka Twinkie Boy) at the driver podium. Tony called the interviewer fat. Later, in the race, Twinkie boy whined that Ryan Newman took him out because Ryan doesn't know how to race. Why is it when drivers get loose and drive up the track (like Matt did in the all star race) , Smoke says that they don't know how to drive.? Why does Twinkie boy always try to pass a loose car on their outside in a corner? Why did TNT listen to his whining for a full 2 minutes while the race was going on? What the hell is wrong with this arrogant Twinkie and why do people like him so much? Ok - I know - a lot of questions. Help me out folks.

Jeff Gordon Wrecks Someone Again
Jul 09, 2006 | 4:19PM | report this

Jeff doesn't know how to win a race without wrecking someone. Jeff clearly had the car to win and had he waited till Matt Kenseth cleared the turn, he would have had a clear shot to pass Matt on the straightaway. Shame on TNT for saying the fans who threw bottles should have been removed from the race track. TNT must think fans are stupid and didn't see what they saw. Shame on YOU TNT! Give us FOX back. Second-place finisher Jeff Burton, a former teammate of Kenseth's at Roush Racing, initially declined comment because he didn't see what happened. But after wincing during a television replay, Burton said, "Matt's a hard-nosed racer, and there'll be retribution for that, I'm sure." Burton said if NASCAR isn't willing to issue rough driving penalties, it will be up to drivers to settle issues on the track. "If NASCAR doesn't handle it, then we need to handle it," Burton said. "And that's OK." Well said Jeff!

The Most Beautiful Picture - Hey Tony Stewart fans - Don't look - you'll cry
Mar 12, 2006 | 5:27PM | report this

Karma  -  It's such a beautiful thing. The picture above illustrates what happens when you screw with someone. A few weeks ago, Pudge Fatboy Stewart took out Kennseth. Since then, Tony has seen the back of Kennseth's bumper too many times. Granted it's not as close as this picture illustrates, but when Pudgeboy is trailing Matt (who averages a 3 second or more lead) you get the idea. Oh - how about those blown engines? Karma I tell you. So come on over and join us, all you Tony Fatboy freaks. It's not too late to join a fanbase that is honorable. I promise you won't have to defend Matt on a weekly basis - like you do now with Fatboy Stewart.

What is Tony Stewart Eating?
Feb 23, 2006 | 11:16PM | report this

2006 Daytona 500

I feel for the Pudge fans. It's not easy rooting for a man with the the most unsportsman like appearance in all sports. This may be the reason that Doughboy fans seem so uptight. It's kinda hard to lay down good money, at the speedways through the years, for the marshmellow man's merchandise - then - jump ship when he starts looking like this. I mean a couple of grand spent on his stuff and walking through the speedway with other drivers fans pointing and sneering at  your choice for a driver, would make me a little uptight too.  Drivers - remember this always. Pudge is hungry, get out of his way. As Matt Kenseth learned, he will cause a caution just so he can get back to his pit and have ............. whatever it is that is in his tummy in this photo.

So, How about it Rousch and Hendrick fans - what do you think. What is your take on what's in Pudge's tummy. Could it be Twinkies, a missing pit crewmember?

ABOUT ME

nascarfan_fanzone
I am a Nascar Nut. I watch the Speed channel to get my high. I pamper myself with infield passes and comfortable stand seating a couple times a year down at the Speedway. If I could, I would travel to every race. I love Nascar. By the way if you would like to make a charitable donation, to the nascarfan society, consisting of a couple of newer scanners than mine, it would be appreciated. Some of my channels ain't what they used to be.
