As most of you know I am a huge Seattle homer fan! But today is a very sad day for many seahawk fans, I just found out that Mack Strong the fifteen year full back vet has announced today he will retire with a spinal cord injury. He had a herniated disc in his neck pressing against his spinal cord causing tingling down his arms and legs. I just wanted to give one of many unsung heroes in the NFL his dues. By the way he has got to have the greatest name of a fullback of all time! Anyways I just wanted to say you will be miss Mack you are one of the main reasons Alexander got the MVP! To a great football player how was an unrestricted free agent walked on the seahawks camp fifteen years ago that would never make it in the NFL! Thanks for the years and the inspiration! Good luck in all you do!
What a great player, and what a sad ending to his awesome career. You did a great job here, and I am sure he would be honored! You are right, he does have the best name in football! Mack Strong, good luck and God Bless!
I hear ya, but the city of Seattle will miss him on the field the most but I heard he might get a commentator gig thier so hopefully I will still see and hear him. Thats a whole lot of football knowledge

Any player who survives in the NFL for 10+ years deserves some medal of honor. The players are just so fast, big, and dangerous, that it's a miracle for players to survive one game much less 10+ years of it.
I hope Strong's doctors are able to alleviate his herniated disk issue. I know what those are like, and are excruciating. I don't want to see another unsung NFL hero living the rest of their life in pain, struggle, and poverty, while NFL turns it's back on them again.
I was born and raised in Billings Mt and moved after H.S. I lived in Seattle for 17 years and moved back here to Montana 5 years ago and miss all those Seattle teams! GO SEAHAWKS Turn ons: anytime the yankees lose! Damn the evil empire!!! I also am a huge fan of one of the greatest pure hitters of our time Edgar Martinez! HOF no question in my mind. Oh theres also that other Seattle hitter, I think his name is ICHIRO or something like that!
