Shaq files for divorce....I really didn't see this coming..... well I wouldn't say that....I didn't think it would be this summer. After all Shaq and Shaunie are *THE* YBF couple of the sports world. This sucks....

Philly Just Can't Let Go.....
T.O. pays Donovan McNabb a compliment.....and its still not good enough. I swear, T.O has been gone for two years and they still talk about him like he still wears an Eagles uniform. I'm saying, he played in the Super Bowl on one leg and even when he played half a season he led the team in touchdowns. T.O. was the best thing the Eagles did in the last 10 years. Yeah he talked ####, but we played better. He gave us swagger. And the media here still has nothing but negative things to say no matter how stupid it sounds. I wanted T.O. in Philly and I didn't want him to leave, but that's just how it is here. Our teams find a way to make a problem out of nothing. I'll save my theories for a snow day.
Speaking of Mr. Owens, he'll be on Jimmy Kimmel tonite. I hope he wears something that matches.

For every drop of rain there'll be sunshine. Like you I'm surprised by the fact that Shaq and his wife are seperating. But there might well be something in what Kobe had said upon his arrest in Eagle, Co. How is that they're not chasing after the other philanderers on the team ? I guess that Kobe forgot that he was the only on being charged with an alleged rape at the time.
Since that episode we've had Rick Fox and Vanessa Williams seperate and gone through a divorce and now Shaq is in the process of seperating from his wife with a view to a divorce. It's got to have been something in the water in Eagle , Co ?

I am one of the few people in Philly that can form an opinion without the help of Howard Eskin or sports radio. I liked T.O. before he got here.
I just think his persona was too much for the other egos to handle in the locker room. And Philly "fans" change like the weather. All of sudden they wanted A.I. to leave after Howard Eskin said it.
And how much philandering can a man do? Shaq has been in the league what 15-16 years, and has only been married for five. When does it grow tired?

For a guy who's allegedly worth upwardsd of $150- $200m. I doubt he'd be conceerned over $20m or so. Until we know all the sordid little details , it'll be pure speculation as to the reasons for the split.

Actually Rampant, that is what was stated in the divorce papers Shaq filed. He is requesting Shaunie submit accounting records claiming she's been secretive about her assets.
To me this translates to "chick was robbing him blind" for this to be a cause of divorce.
