I gave a free NCAA hoops opinion in the posting forum today; thought I would share an NBA opinion here with my blog entry.

The Bulls are 7-3 in their last ten games, but all seven of those
victories have come against losing teams. In the Bulls lone contest
against a team with a winning record, they got blasted by 33 points at
Miami. We just saw Chicago get badly outplayed down the stretch of a
home loss to the slumping Clippers, losing by 13 as eight point
favorites against a team that had lost six of their previous seven
ballgames. Point guard Kirk Hinrich: “We just haven’t been playing
with the same energy and intensity on both ends of the floor that we
need to be playing with.” The Bulls are not a team to back against
quality foes like the Nuggets right now.
Meanwhile, Denver is finally getting hot after a season of
mediocrity and failing to live up to expectations. George Karl has
finally got Allen Iverson and Carmelo Anthony on the same page. The
Nuggets role players like Steve Blake, Nene, Marcus Camby Linas Klieza
and JR Smith understand their roles for the first time all year. That
combination of superstars who are stepping up and role players who are
consistently contributing has led Denver to five straight victories,
including outright upsets over Phoenix, Sacramento and New Jersey.
Look for the Nuggets to continue their solid play tonight in this
matchup of hot vs not.
