Keep it up boys! Romo had some challenges but I think he recovered and handled things well. Couldn't ask for much more from a more experienced QB. And Witten.....always in the right place at the right time! Go 'Boys Go!
I'm so excited...I love football season!!...lol. Okay, I wrote about Romo on my last post so now I have to write about Jason Witten, for he is my all time favorite cowboy. His is the jersey I chose to purchase and sleep in all season. Witten #82 has always seem to me as being consistant. He doesn't scramble to be in the spotlight all the time and for the most part, he has done his part and then some to contribute to the team. Some other players seem to demand the spotlight and not necessarily deserving of it. Yes, T.O. I don't want to start beating up on T.O. but from a football fan's point of view, I disliked him before he came to the Cowboys because of his unsportsmanlike conduct on the star but moreso as a mother who feels this need to put him over my knee and spank him and teach him to play well with others. I will take a bullet for that comment.....lol
I'm giving Romo a shot this season. Although I hear many friends say it's a mistake, I say give him a shot. He did okay last year......he could improve this year and be one of our best quarterbacks we've had.
Ok, I'm a football nut! I know most women hate the typical guy that must watch football everytime there is a game on but I'm not that woman. I'm the woman that will beat you to the tv before the game starts with cold beer and snacks to last until half time. If you are a longhorn and/or cowboy fan, I'll share my beer and snacks with you. So sooner and redskin fans:beware! You will be entering longhorn and cowboy territory...L ol...But if sparks fly between us...Well interesting wagers will be made on rivalry games ;o) (but bring your own damn beer and snacks...Lol. .Just kidding). I also love being outdoors especially during the summer months. I enjoy the water: boating, camping, swimming or just laying out in the sun. However, my friends have told me I would probably like the outdoors in the fall as well if I could ever tear myself away from the football games to notice...Lol. My response: I enjoy the fall weather...Tex as stadium still has a hole in the roof! :o)
