As England named its provisional squad today, many had wondered what Sven-Goran Eriksson's play was when it came to the forward position, myself included.
Sven had many options but made a very surprise move by including 17-year old Theo Walcott to the roster.
Walcott is owned by Arsenal, but has never played a game for them and hasn't even suited up for a game in the first-team league since being transfered from Southampton.
Eriksson decided to leave off the likes of Darren Bent and Jermain Defoe for the 17 year-old wonderboy.
I guess my one question for Eriksson is how do you put a guy who just recently was able to see an R-rated movie without his mommy onto your team? Especially after you admit you have never seen him play. He better be good, real good, or Sven you will be ripped apart by the British Press
Now the question remains? Will Walcott become the starter alongside Michael Owen if Wayne Rooney can't make it back in time for the Cup or will Sven choose to go with a more seasoned striker like Peter Crouch?
