George Mason deserves a trip to Disney World after all the free publicity they've given Cinderella. I'm sure they'll settle for Indy though, after knocking out #1 seed UCONN. It's great to see the team that wanted the win more get it. And its even better to hear the sound of brackets bursting. Hahaha, you have all lost money, and I saved mine and bought a bunch of Junior Mints. And they are delicious.
Back to hoops, if Rudy #### can't put up 20 PPG against college teams, how the hell do they expect him to do it in the pros? If the Bulls take him with that #1 pick they're gonna get from the Knicks, I will assume Isaiah actually made the pick (not really, he actually can draft well)
Was anyone else amazed by that block that BC kid had at the end of regulation in the Nova game? Not the goaltend, the one reminiscent of the Hakim Warrick block in the 2003 Championship game. Only, yes I'll say it, it was better. He's an athletic sophmore, why not convince him to leave early and make him the #1 pick in the draft?
Oh, any Best Buy, Circuit City, or other electronic retailer near Storrs, might be a good time to hire extra security. There are some boys with a lot more time on their hands.
Seriously, that was one of the greatest blocks ever.
If I were an NBA GM, I would take a chance on Gerry McNamara. The kid is as clutch as they come, and he could definitely help somebody. He won't be a superstar, but on a good team he could be a solid back up PG. Yes, I'm showing my Syracuse bias here.
Does the NFL really have a salary cap? If so, does Dan Snyder know it? I think its been 5 straight years now that the Redskins were supposed to be in cap hell, and he just keeps going. Dan Snyder wakes up and puts his pants on one leg at a time, just like everybody else. Only then he makes football players feel like gold records (I'm crashing and burning, I know)
Carmelo Anthony is the best player in the NBA with a ponytail. He also has the worst ponytail in the NBA. Because Scot Pollard's is nice.
The block, he jumped from the elbow to block a three. He jumped straight up though, he didn't lean into it. I'm out, I gotta watch it again.
One more thing, please pray for Paul Dana's family, as well as Tiger and Earl Woods.
I'm a college student, from upstate/centr al (depending on where you're from) New York, so naturally I live for Syracuse basketball, as well as the Mets. However, as a young child I was swayed away from the Giants, Jets, and Bills and found myself to be a Washington Redskins fan. And while watching Michael Jordan, there could be no other team for me aside from the Chicago Bulls, although with Carmelo being a Nugget they have a soft spot in my heart.
