I don't know about you, but this may be the first time I want my weekend to be over so it can be Monday.  This will especially hold true if George Mason beats Florida this weekend and plays in the NCAA championship.  But thats not what I'm talking about.  Thats right, it's OPENING DAY!!!

I know, I know, the season really starts Sunday.  Well, the Sox and Indians is exciting, and I will probably watch, but I can't wait to watch the "New Mets" open against the Nats.  Humanities class is clearly not happening, nothing can interfere with the real first day of spring. 

There are so many intriguing stories this year, its going to be thrilling.  After the Red Sox and White Sox ended their World Series drought, are the Cubs next?  Before you say no, did you think the White Sox had a chance at the beginning of last year.  Congratulations to the three of you left standing.  But if they do, will the world end?  What about the Blue Jays (hopefully) making the Red Sox-Yankees rivalry a battle for a Wild Card?  A guy can dream right?  Will we get as many Brandon Arroyo references now that Bronson is in Cincinnati?  On that note, has there ever been a pair of teammates with better names than Coco Crisp and Wily Mo Pena?   Will Kris Benson find a new stripper to marry by the end of the year?  If so, will he finally snap?  And about Anna, will she stay in New York and hook up with Tom Glavine, thinking he's Kris?  Will Rickey Henderson finally make that comeback?  If not, will he enter the World Series of Poker?  Will his buddy Bobby Bonilla challenge Kobyashi (sp?) at the Nathan's Hot Dog Festival, or whatever its called?

So many questions, and the best part is the 6 month wait to find the answers.
